Coffee with a Cop
The Coffee with a Cop program started in Hawthorne, CA in 2011. 
Brattleboro PD began holding events in 2014.  

It's a simple concept-
Have police officers sit down with the people in their community and share a cup of coffee. 

Questions, answers and friendly debates are common during these casual gatherings.  You can talk about law enforcement issues, but you don't have to.  You can enter a lively debate about the latest Red Sox acquisition, or your recipe for macaroni and cheese.

In 2017, we were honored to have been hosted by The Restless Rooster, The Brattleboro Food
Co-Op, the Works and McDonald's. 

2018 events are being planned now.
