The Detectives Division conducts criminal follow-up investigations and initiates investigations involving cyber crimes, and drugs.
The Detective Division is staffed with four full time Detectives and one full time Detective Lieutenant. Working independently and with others in the department, detectives employ investigative techniques and strategies to identify suspects and make arrests.
There are a variety of forensic, surveillance, and computer related tools to assist Detectives with their investigation. This Division is also referred to as Support Services because we support and/or assist other individuals within the department be sworn or non-sworn employees. The Detective Division is also responsible for maintaining the Evidence room, where one Detective is assigned the position of Evidence Custodian.
