Officer Penniman On the evening of 2/26/19 Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle acting in a suspicious manner on Canal St., in the area of an apartment complex known to police for illegal activity. After viewing this activity, Police made contact with the vehicle and the operator, identified as Taylor Gauthier, a 35 year old male from W. Chesterfield, NH, on S. Main St. Investigation revealed that Gauthier was under the influence of alcohol. Gauthier was placed under arrest for DUI, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There, he was processed, and released on a citation. Gauthier will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/26/19 to answer his charge.

Officer Fletcher On 2/25/19 at approximately 1:45 PM Officer of the Brattleboro Police Dept. responded to a restaurant on Canal St in the Town of Brattleboro for a report of a female inside passed out. The complainant reported the female had previously been trespassed from the business. Upon arrival Officers located Lynn S.Norman sleeping in a booth. Dispatch confirmed Norman had been issued a Trespass warning for this business in January of this year. Norman did have a strong odor of intoxicating beverages emanating from her person. Norman was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police station where she was processed. The court ordered Norman be held until sober and was later released on citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 2/28/19 at 1230 hours. Holmquist, Duane. C. 69 Year Old Male from Vernon, VT
Officer Penniman On 2/24/19, during the early morning hours, Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle operating in an erratic manner. A motor vehicle stop was initiated, and contact was made with the operator, Duane C. Holmquist, a 69 year old male from Vernon, VT. It was determined that Holmquist was impaired due to alcohol. Holmquist was placed under arrest for DUI. Holmquist was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was processed, and released on a citation. Holmquist will appear at the Windham County Superior Court on 3/12/19 to answer his charge. Shervinskie, Suzanne. 54 year old female from Springfield, NH
Officer Kerylow On 02/23/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Bridge Street for a motor vehicle collision that occurred in the parking lot. Through investigation it was determined that Suzanne Shervinskie backed into a parked motor vehicle and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. She was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. She was issued a citation to appear in court on 03/12/2019. Schwarzenbach, Stephen.61 year old male from Dummerston
Officer Kerylow On 12/26/2018 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Main Street for a report of a theft. Through video surveillance it was discovered that Stephen Schwarzenbach concealed a pair of gloves inside the store and left the business without paying for the item. Schwarzenbach was issued a citation to appear in court on 04/02/2019 to answer the charge. Officer Law
On 2/25/2019 at approximately 1459 hours Brattleboro Police Department, Brattleboro Fire Department, and Rescue Inc. responded to the area of 130 West River Rd. for a report of a motor vehicle crash. It was reported as a head on motor vehicle crash between a passenger car and a box truck. The collision occurred when a 2017 Toyota Prius operated by Devan Calabrese (27 of Brattleboro) and a Ford F450 operated by Todd Clark (47 of Westminster) collided on West River Rd. Upon arrival it was found that all parties involved in the crash had non-life threatening injuries. All parties were later transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hosipital by Rescue Inc. for treatment. West River Rd. was closed at approximately 3:05 PM until 6:45 PM, this was due to the vehicles being in both lanes of travel and for investigation. Officer Penniman On 2/19/19 in the early morning hours Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle leaving a well known residence on Oak St. This residence is well known to police due to drug activity stemming from it. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop. A search of the vehicle revealed narcotics, leading to the arrest of Shannon T. Mylott, a 21 year old female from Brattleboro. Mylott was found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine. Mylott was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where she was processed, and released on a citation. Mylott will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/30/19 to answer her charges. VargasGarcia, Xavier, 31, Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cooke On February 20, 2019 the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local business for a reported retail theft. Following an investigation it was learned that Xavier VargasGarcia, 31, of Brattleboro had left the business with items he failed to pay for. VargasGarcia was issued a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on April 2, 2019 at 8am to answer to the charge. Knowles, William G., 71, Brattleboro, VT
Shipley, Robert L., 65, Brattleboro, VT Officer Cooke On January 20, 2019 the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Main St for a reported assault. As a result of the investigation, William Knowles, 71, of Brattleboro, and Robert Shipley, 65, of Brattleboro were both issued citations for Disorderly Conduct. Officer Kerylow On 02/22/2019 Brattleboro Police arrested Joseph A. Pasquino for trespassing at a business on Main Street. Pasquino was transported to Brattleboro Probation and Parole where he would be turned over to the custody of his probation officer. Upon arrival, Pasquino exited the cruiser and then assaulted a Brattleboro Police officer. Pasquino was issued a citation to appear in court on 02/25/2019 at 1230 pm and was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility by probation and parole. |
