Tonya Camolli, 34, of Brattleboro, VT
On 03/19/18 at approximately 11:05pm, Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Pleasant Street for a reported noise disturbance. Upon investigating the complaint, Officers located Tonya L. Camolli inside an apartment at the residence. It was determined that Camolli was in violation of an active trespass order that had been issued for that apartment. Camolli was taken into custody, before being released with a citation ordering her to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 03/21/18.
Clayton Whitten, 35, of Swanzey, NH
On March 19, 2018 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Canal St. when they noticed a vehicle acting suspiciously. Officers stopped the vehicle on Rt. 91. Subsequent investigation revealed that one of the passengers, Clayton Whitten, had an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire for possession and sale of cocaine. Whitten was arrested and charged as a Fugitive from Justice, and held on $10,000 bail. Whitten will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on March 19 to face the charge.
Axis Balsley, 18, of Guilford, VT
On 3/18/18 at approximately 4:00pm, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Dept responded to the area of Canal St and Fairground Rd for a report of a motor vehicle accident. The victim reported the vehicle that hit them had left the area. There were no reported injuries. The vehicle sustained minor damage when the suspect vehicle sideswiped them on Fairground Rd.The operator of the offending vehicle was later identified as Axis Balsley of Guilford, VT.
Balsley was processed for the crime of Leaving the scene of an accident and issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 4/24/18 at 0800 hours
Steven Rec, 32 of Guilford, VT
On 03/17/18 at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Bonnyvale Road for a report of two males fighting and one male was threating to kill the other male. Upon investigation it was determined that Steven, A. Rec, 32, of Guilford, repeatedly punched the victim and smashed the door of the residence. It was determined that Rec commited the offence of Unlawful mischief, disorderly conduct, and domestic assault.
Both males were transported to the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for non-life threating injuries.
Rec was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Station after being treated and released for his injuries. Rec was issued a citation to appear at Windham Superior Court on 03/19/18 to face the charges.
Walter Swift, 59, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/17/2018, Brattleboro Officers observed a male who they know to be Walter Swift 59, of Brattleboro. The observed him standing in front of a business on Main Street. Swift had Court Ordered Conditions in which he was to have a 24 hour curfew at his residence. Officers found Swift to be in violation of those Conditions and he was placed under arrest for Contempt Of Court. Swift is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 4/03/2018 to answer to the charge.
Rebekah Alex, 30, of Brattleboro, VT
In the early hours of 3/14 Brattleboro Police were called to a residence on Guilford St.
A resident of one of the houses called to report that a female had shown up at her doorstep, and had claimed to have been robbed and abandonded on the road.
Police arrived and spoke with the individual. The individual was able to provide two names, with one being Rebekah Alex.
The victim stated that she was in a vehicle with Rebekah and another associate, when Rebekah accused her of stealing money. The victim was subsequently ordered out of the car, and ordered to empty her pockets. Rebekah then took the victim’s cell phone, and drove away. The victim then walked approximately 1 mile seeking help.
Police then made contact with Rebekah, who was in possession of the phone.
Rebekah was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Station. There she was released on a citation, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/17/18 to answer her charge.
Courtney Jacobs, 20, of Brattleboro, VT
On 03/11/2018 at approximately 4:45am Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Elliot Street for a citizen dispute. It was reported that a female subject kicked in a door of a tenant and threatened her.
Upon arrival, officers located Courtney D. Jacobs in her vehicle in the middle of Elliot Street. After speaking with the female complainant it was determined that Jacobs kicked open her door, causing damage, and threated the complainant.
Jacobs was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Jacobs was later released with a citation to appear in court on 03/27/2018.
On 03/10/2018 at approximately 2:28pm Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Main Street for a motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrval, it was discovered that a gray 2007 Mazda 3i had struck a traffic barrier pole in front of the business. Christopher J. Ferraina, of Windsor, CT, was operating the vehicle and ran a red light at an intersection.
Sheldon S. Roland, of Cottondale, FL, was operating a white 2018 Ford F-250 and struck the Mazda as it was driving through the intersection. The collision caused the Mazda to lose control and crash into the traffic barrier.
There were no injuries. The entrance to the business was alternating one lane traffic until the investigation was completed.
Sylvester Little, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
On March 9, 2018 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal St. for a report of a disorderly customer. Subsequent investigation revealed that Sylvester Little was in the business in violation of a No Trespass Warning. Little was located and issued a citation for Unlawful Trespass, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on April 17 to face the charge.
Tyler J Taitague, 25, of Bethel VT
Andrea L Veroneau, 29, of Bethel VT
Jocelyn Pond, 27, of Brattleboro
On 3/5/2018, Brattleboro Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked on Elm Street, and made contact with its occupants. They were identified as Tyler J Taitague 25, Andrea L Veroneau 29 both of Bethel VT, and Jocelyn Pond 27 of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation revealed that Taitague was operating a vehicle while having a Criminally Suspended driver’s license. His passenger Veroneau was found to be in possession of heroin and Pond was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. All three were arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where they were fingerprinted and photographed. They were later ordered released by a Judge on Conditions. Taitague, Veroneau and Pond are scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 4/10/2018 to answer to the charges.
