Officer Penniman On 3/22/22, Brattleboro Police were monitoring traffic on Rt. 30. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for speed due to the vehicle traveling 86mph in a posted 40mph. The operator, Jason Neumeister, was placed under arrest for excessive speed. Furthermore, Neumeister’s license was criminally suspended, and he was required to have an ignition interlock device, which the vehicle did not have. Neumeister was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed and released on a citation. Neumeister will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/3/22 to answer his charges. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.

Dillon Hall, 29, VT
Officer Penniman On 3/20/22 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Canal St. for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival it was apparent that the business had been burglarized. Investigation led Police to a nearby hotel, and then to Dillon Hall. Hall was placed under arrest for Burglary, Unlawful Mischief, False Information, and Contempt of Court. Hall was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was lodged in lieu of bail. Hall will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/21/22 to answer his charges. Officer Penniman On 3/19/22 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence in Moore Ct. to investigate a potential domestic disturbance. Investigation led to the arrest of Keith Giroux for Domestic Assault. Giroux resisted arrest, and also acted in a disorderly manner. Giroux was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was lodged in lieu of bail. There were no injuries. Giroux will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/21/22 to answer his charges. Officer Washburn On March 17, 2022 at approximately 6:30pm. Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a local hospital for a disorderly subject. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Kyle J. Hamilton age 22 of Brattleboro committed the offenses of Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Contempt, and Unlawful Trespass. Hamilton was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Hamilton was ordered held on $50.00 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on March 18, 2022 at 12:30pm. Officer Washburn On March 16, 2022 at approximately 2:47pm Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Spruce St. for a report of violation of conditions of release. Officers arrived and located Eric Cadieux age 41 of Brattleboro. After an investigation it was determined that Cadieux had committed the offense of Contempt of Court. Cadieux was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Cadieux was ordered held on $200.00 and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on March 17, 2022 at 12:30pm. Officer Washburn On February 22, 2022 Brattleboro Police Officers were dispatched to a grocery store on Main St. for a trespassing complaint. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Phyllis Parent age 32 of Brattleboro committed the offense of unlawful trespass. Parent was no longer on scene and was later located and issued a citation. Parent is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on April 12, 2022 at 8:00am. Officer Abualjadail On 2/17/22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on South Main St. for a report of a disorderly man. Investigation revealed that Tadros Hoth had engaged in violent, tumultuous behavior inside the business and had been drinking in violation of his court ordered conditions. Hoth was issued a citation to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 3/29/22 at 8:00 a.m. to answer to the charges of Disorderly Conduct and Contempt of Court. Officer Cooke On March 6, 2022 at approximately 0135 hours officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Garfield Dr for a report of a subject that was out of control. The subject was identified as Casey O’Brien, 22, of Brattleboro. It was learned that O’Brien had an active warrant for his arrest in the State of Vermont. When officers attempted to arrest O’Brien for the warrant, O’Brien immediately began to resist their efforts. O’Brien fought with officers until he was ultimately taken into custody. O’Brien was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was held in lieu of $400 bail. O’Brien is scheduled to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on March 7, 2022 at 1230 hours. Officer Penniman On 3/12/22 Brattleboro Police observed a suspicious vehicle, and contacted the occupants. The passenger, Matthew Carr, was found to have an instate warrant, and was placed under arrest. A search of the car was conducted, and Carr was further found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of suspected cocaine. Carr was issued a citation for possession, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/19/22 to answer his charge.
