Officer Fletcher On 4/22/19 at approximately 1257 hours Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local business for a report of a disorderly female subject. It was reported the female had fled the business prior to police arrival. Upon arrival I made contact with staff who advised they were closed for business. There were multiple signs on the front door noting business hours and that they were closed. The female, identified by witnesses as Kayla Boyd 23 of Brattleboro, entered the premises and started making threats to the staff. Boyd was directed to leave several times, and refused to do so. After entering the back portion of the business, and retrieving property she left the business, not making payment for the services rendered. Boyd was located on 4/26/19 and issued a trespass warning for the business and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 6/4/19 at 0800 hours.

Officer Penniman On 4/21/19 Brattleboro Police responded to the area of 9 Canal St. for a report of a female abusing drugs in her vehicle. Upon arrival Officers observed the female, Antoinette E. Mills, a 63 year old female from Brattleboro, conducting behavior in her vehicle consistent with drug abuse. Mills became physically resistant, and caused a scene on the street. Mills also attempted to injure officers several times. Mills was placed under arrest, and found to be in possession of 21 bags of heroin. Mills was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for evaluation. There, she was issued a citation for Possession of Heroin (Felony amount), Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. Mills will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/28/19 to answer her charges. Arthur Farrance, 26, of Readsboro, VT
Officer Kerylow On 04/26/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Main Street on a report of a theft. Police were advised the male was approached by staff outside of the business and then fled in a vehicle. Through investigation it was revealed that Arthur F. Farrance had stolen two items from the business. Farrance was later located and was issued justice alternatives paperwork and a citation to appear in court on 06/18/2019. Officer Cooke On April 17, 2019 the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a reported domestic situation at a local Motel on Putney Rd. Following an investigation, Officer’s arrested Faith Thomas, 39, of Brattleboro. Thomas was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where she was processed. Thomas was ordered held without bail by the court and ordered to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on April 18, 2019 at 1230 hours. Kevin O'Neil, 48, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Kerylow On 04/26/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to Brattleboro Probation and Parole to speak with a female subject on a report of a possible sex offense. Through investigation it was determined that Kevin S. O’Neil had enagaged in lewd and lascivious behavior. O’Neil was placed under arrest and was issued a citation to appear in court on 06/04/2019. Officer Washburn On April 24, 2019 Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a directed foot patrol at the Brattleboro Transportation Center 77 Flat St. Rodney A. Lumbra age 58 of Brattleboro was located at the Transportation Center. Lumbra had an active no trespass order for this location. Lumbra was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Lumbra was fingerprinted and photographed and released on citation. Lumbra is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on June 4, 2019 at 8:00am. Keith Harvey, 52, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Keilig On 4/24/19 at approximately 1523hrs, Officers encountered Keith A. Harvey at the Brattleboro Transportation Center. Harvey was found to be in violation of court ordered conditions of release, a trespass order, and an abuse prevention order. Harvey was arrested and will appear in Windham Superior Court on 4/25/19 to face the charges. Vanessa Mack, 37, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Fletcher On 4/22/19 at approximately 0951 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Dept responded to a local hotel in reference to a trespassing complaint. It was reported Vanessa Mack was on the property and she had been previously trespassed. Dispatch confirmed the trespass warning had been served. Upon arrival to the area, Officers located Mack walking down Putney Rd. Mack flagged down officers and spoke with them about the incident. After the initial investigation it was found she had been on the property to retrieve some of her personal items. Mack was transported to the Brattleboro Police station where she was fingerprinted and photographed. Mack was released on citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 5/28/19 at 0800 hours. Corey Whidden, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Lockerby On April 20, 2019 at approximately 1915 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main Street for a report of a theft. Subsequent investigation revealed that Corey A. Whidden had stolen money from the business on two different occasions. Whidden was later located and issued a citation and released. Whidden is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 6/4/19 to answer to the charge. Theodore Colehamer, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 4/19/19 Brattleboro Police were on foot in the downtown area when they observed a male operating a motorized electric scooter on the sidewalk on Main St. Due to the fact that the male appeared to be having issues balancing the scooter, and was commiting a motor vehicle infraction by operating the scooter on the sidewalk, contact was made. Upon contact police identified the male as Theodore D. Colehamer, a 44 year old male from Brattleboro. Police suspected Colehamer to be intoxicated, and ordered him to stay put while they went across the street to fetch their cruiser. Colehamer fled the scene, and momentarily eluded police. Colehamer was then seen on foot on Flat St. After a brief foot pursuit, Colehamer was taken into custody. Colehamer was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was processed for DUI #4, Eluding a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest. Before Colehamer was released, a search was done on his bag. In his bag a criminal amount of Marijuana was located. |
