Jordan Davis, 26, of Hinsdale, NH
On 5/30/2021 at 4:34 AM Brattleboro Police received a call for a male subject refusing to leave a residence on Wilsons Woods Road in the Town of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation showed that Jordan Davis was invited into the residence, however refused to leave after being told to leave multiple times. Davis was arrested and later released with a citation and conditions of release. Davis is to appear in Windham Superior Court on 6/1/2021 to answer to the charges of Unlawful Trespass and Criminal Contempt.
Justine Lovig, 54, of Maine
On 5/20/21 Brattleboro Police responded to a hotel on Putney Rd. for a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival Police spoke with the trespasser, who was later identified as Justine Lovig.
Lovig continuously refused to leave the property, and refused to identify herself. Lovig then fled in her car after being told she was not free to do so.
Officers later located Lovig in her hotel room in West Brattleboro. Lovig was advised she was under arrest. Lovig shut her door, and refused to allow officers to take her into custody. Officers left the scene in order to write up an arrest warrant.
Prior to the arrest warrant being written up, Officers were called back to the hotel due to Lovig harassing other patrons. Lovig was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on a citation.
Lovig will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/6/21 to answer the charges of Attempt To Elude, Resisting Arrest, and Unlawful Trespass.
On May 22, 20212 at 1147 hours, Brattleboro police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle roll over crash on Route 142, near the Vernon town line. On arrival officers located both occupants of the vehicle Justin Caminiti (19) and Cameron Raymond (19) of Hinsdale, NH at the scene. Both occupants were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital by Rescue. Caminiti was later flown by helicopter to UMass medical center due to his injuries as he had been ejected from the vehicle. Both Caminiti and Raymond were later reported to be in stable condition and released from the hospital. This crash is currently under investigation. Christopher Pond, 35, of Brattleboro, VT
On 5/22/21 Brattleboro Police took a report of a sexual assault that occurred at a residence on High St.
Police interviewed the victim, and executed a search warrant at the residence.
Police arrested Christopher Pond, a 35 year old male from Brattleboro for the offenses of Sexual Assault and Kidnapping.
Pond was ordered held without bail. Pond will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/24/21 to answer his charges.
Felton Staton, 54, of Brattleboro, VT
On 5/3/21 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due to several violations. The operator, Felton Staton, a 54 year old male from Brattleboro, was found to have a criminally suspended license.
Staton was issued a citation for Criminal DLS. Staton will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/15/21 to answer his charge.
Kevin Lynch, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/11/2019 the Brattleboro Police Department started an investigation for an attempted assault and robbery that occurred in the area of Park Place and Linden Street. During the initial stages of the investigation it was discovered that a male victim was standing near his vehicle when he was struck in the head and the attacker demaned his wallet. The attacker fled the scene and was not located. The victim was not injured and did not require any medical assistance.
Over the course of the investigation, police were able to positively identify Kevin M. Lynch as the suspect through DNA analysis. Lynch was located at a later date and was arrested for Attempted Assault and Robbery and Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
Lynch was issued a citation to appear in court on 05/25/2021 at 0800 hours.
Chester Young, 81, of Chesterfield, NH
On 5/12/21 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation on Putney Rd.
During the stop, Police developed probable cause that narcotics were present within the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was conducted, and Young was found to be in possession of 1517 bags of Fentanyl, along with a large amount of US Currency.
Young was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Young was issued a citation, and released on conditions of release.
Young will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/13/21 to answer his charge.
Peggy Strobeck, 36, of Brattleboro, VT

On 05/03/21, Brattleboro Police responded to a residence after receiving a report that Peggy M. Strobeck had violated her Court ordered conditions of release originating from a previous incident. Investigation revealed that Strobeck violated the Court order by placing herself within 300 feet of the residence.
Strobeck was later located, and issued a citation ordering her to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 06/22/21.
William Bostwick, 38, of Guilford, VT
On 5/2/21 Brattleboro Police investigated a suspicious car that was parked on Brown Ct. in Brattleboro.
Investigation revealed that the occupant, William Bostwick, was in possession of Heroin. Furthermore, Bostwick provided a fake name to Officers.
Bostwick was issued a citation, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/22/21 to answer his charges.
Timothy Destromp, 53, of Brattleboro, VT
On May 7, 2021 the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to a report of a restraining order violation and Violations of Conditions that occurred at a residence on Canal St. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Timothy Destromp age 53 of Brattleboro committed the offenses of Violation of Conditions and Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order.
Destromp was taken into custody and transported back to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Destromp was ordered held on $5,000.00 bail and lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility. Destromp is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on May 10, 2021 at 12:30pm.
