Det. Sgt. Lynde On March 27, 2023 Brattleboro Police received a report of a physical and sexual assault against a juvenile. May 26, 2023 Brattleboro Police arrested Jaydon Labbe in reference to this incident. Labbe was taken into custody by Brattleboro Probation and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was held without bail until he could be seen in court on May 30, 2023 at 12:30pm. Sgt. Hamilton On May 18 2023 at approximately 2145 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a business on Canal Street for a report of a trespasser. Subsequent investigation revealed that Anton Lutz had trespassed on the property. Lutz was later located, issued a citation, and released. Lutz is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on July 11 to face the charge of Unlawful Trespass. Sgt. Hamilton On May 10 2023 at approximately 1400 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a business on Canal Street for a report of a trespasser. Subsequent investigation revealed that Anton Lutz had trespassed on the property. Lutz was later located, issued a citation, and released. Sgt. Hamilton On May 25 2023 at approximately 2010 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a medical care facility on Belmont Avenue for a reported assault. Subsequent investigation revealed that Jeremiah Wilbur had assaulted a staff member there by throwing things and spitting on them. No one received medical attention as a result of this incident. Wilbur was gone on police arrival. Wilbur was located the following day and taken into custody. Wilbur was held in lieu of bail, and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on May 30 at 1230 hours to face the charge of Assault of a Protected Professional. Ofc. Law & Ofc. Fletcher On 5/24/23 at approximately 1100hrs, Jeremiah Wilbur shoplifted in a business on Main St., and assaulted staff when confronted. Brattleboro Officers responded but Wilbur had fled. At 1352hrs Wilbur returned to the area and attacked two subjects on the Whetstone Walkway. Wilbur fled and was located by police in an alley on Main St., where force was used to take him into custody. No one received injuries that required medical treatment from any of the events above. Wilbur was held on conditions and bail and will appear at the Windham County Superior Court on 5/25/23 to face the charges. Det. Kerylow On 05/14/2023 at approximately 1545 hours police responded to the Transportation Center for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim. She advised that after she parked her car and got out, a male approached and threatened her with a large knife while demanding the keys to her car. The victim was not physically injured; however, the suspect did succeed in taking her car. The suspect is described as a white male, blonde hair, yellow/orange tinted retro glasses, average height and build. The car is a silver 2012 Hyundai Elantra bearing VT registration HMF 179. **UPDATE** On 05/24/2023 police executed a search warrant at a residence on Ledgewood Heights Road and arrested Kyle J. Rice for the offense. Through investigation police were able to identify Rice as the suspect. Rice was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing and was ordered held on $1,000 bail. Rice will appear in court on 05/25/2023 at 1230 PM. The silver Hyundai Elantra has not yet been located. Anyone with information on the vehicle’s whereabouts are urged to call the Brattleboro Police Department. Sgt. Cable On 5/22/2023 at approximately 4:30 AM Brattleboro Police responded to a motel on Putney Road for a report of an assault that just occurred. Investigation led to the arrest of Loring Bradford when it was discovered he attempted to strike a female he was romantically involved with, but instead struck another female victim. The female sustained non-lifethreatening injuries. Loring was arrested and later released on court ordered conditions. Loring was issued a citation to appear at Windham Superior Court on 5/23/2023 to answer to the charges of Simple Assault and Attempted Domestic Assault. Sgt. Cable On 5/11/2023 at 1:02 PM Brattleboro Police were alerted to a possible violation of court ordered conditions. Investigation led to the arrest of Donavin Hamilton who had contact with a male subject the court ordered he not be in contact with. Hamilton was issued a citation and released to appear at Windham Superior Court on 5/12/2023 at 1230 PM. Lt. Petlock On 04/23/23, Brattleboro Police responded along with EMS to a parking lot on Putney Road for a report of a vehicle that had struck a mailbox. Based on an investigation, the operator of the vehicle Arran A. Marr-Fuller was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. He was processed, and later released with a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 05/16/23.
