Burke, Jeffrey D- 39- Brattleboro, VT
On 6/21/19 the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street for a report of a shoplifter. On arrival, officers identified the subject as Jeffrey D Burke, 39 years old of Brattleboro. Burke had been detained by Asset Protection after attempting to steal approximately $48 worth of alcohol. While investigating the theft it was determined that Burke had an active warrant for his arrest for a failure to appear in court related to a previous retail theft. Burke was subsequently taken into custody on the warrant and later transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was held in lieu of $200. Burke will appear in Windham County Superior Court on 6/24/19 for the warrant, and 7/30/19 at 0800 for the new charge of retail theft.
Hendricks, Ethan. 39 Year Old Male from Brattleboro.
On 6/21/19 at approximately 0110 hrsBrattleboro Police came across a female and her young child who were visibly in distress on Elliot St. The female had sustained moderate injuries. The child was not harmed.
The female was transported to BMH for evaluation. Investigation revealed that Ethan Hendricks, a 39 year old male from Brattleboro, had assaulted the female at his residence.
Hendricks was located on S. Main Street, arrested, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was lodged, issued conditions of release, and issued a citation for 6/21/19 at 1230.
Johnson, Lisa. 62 Year Old Female from Brattleboro.
On 6/2/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a search warrant at a local hotel in an attempt to locate and apprehend Brandon Lee and Amanda Fogg, who both have warrants out of New Hampshire.
Neither were present, however located was Lisa Johnson, a 62 year old female from Brattleboro. Johnson was found to also have an instate warrant stemming from a DUI charge, and was found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine.
Johnson was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and issued a citation. Johnson will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/23/19 to answer her charges.
Roys, Craig M age 47 of Brattleboro
On May 29, 2019 while conducting a walking patrol at the Brattleboro Transportation Center Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department located Craig Roys age 47 of Brattleboro on the third level of the Transportation Center. Officers learned through dispatch that Roys had an active no trespass order for that location. Roys was issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 23, 2019 at 8:00am. To answer the charge of Unlawful Trespass.
Triffletti, Lindsay, H. 37 year old female from Brattleboro
On 06/17/2019 Brattleboro Police arrested Lindsay H. Triffletti for violating a Final No Stalking Order which was ordered through the court. Triffletti attempted to make contact with a female listed in the order which she is prohibited from doing. Triffletti was issued a citation to appear in court on 07/23/2019 to answer the charge.
Geiling, Christopher M. 60 of Turners Falls, MA
On 12/6/18 at approximately 1700 hours, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal St in the Town of Brattleboro for a late report of a shoplifting incident. It was reported to police that an unknown male subject had left the store without paying for approximately $337.
On 6/8/19, Brattleboro Police identified the male as Christopher M. Geiling, 60 of Turners Falls, MA. Geiling was identified as the same male who had previously stolen products from this store on 4 separate occasions. Geiling was issued a trespass warning for the store and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 7/23/19 at 0800 hours.
Kipamba, Leyeyo, S; 21; of Townshed, VT
On 06/07/19, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Orchard St., in the Town of Brattleboro, for a report of a vehicle that was parked partially in the roadway and the operator was not responsive.
Upon arrival, it was determined that Leyeyo S. Kipamba, 21 of Townshend VT was intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. He was later released on a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division n 07/02/19 to answer to this charge.
Engelhard, Ethan C.T. 22 of Brattleboro
On 6/12/19 at approximately 8:30 PM Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Canal St for a report of a physical altercation. The complainant reported 4-5 persons possibly involved in the altercation, one person was on the ground. One male subject, Ethan Engelhard 22, of Brattleboro was detained on scene with minor injuries and experiencing a mental health crisis. Engelhard was transported to BMH for evaluation.
A female victim of the assault was also taken to BMH to be evaluated for minor non-life threatening injury. The victim identified Engelhard as the subject who struck her causing her injury. Engelhard was medically cleared and taken into custody for assault. He was transported to the Brattleboro Police station where he ordered held until sober. Engelhard was issued conditions of release and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Courtr, Criminal Division on 6/13/19 at 1230 hours.
Cehowski, Adam, E – 32 – Watervliet, NY
On 6/9/2019 at approximately 0154 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Route 30 near the Brattleboro/Dummerston town line. Officers made contact with the operator of a motor vehicle that was obstructing the roadway. The operator was identified as Adam E. Cehowski. Further investigation revealed that Cehowski was under the influence of alcohol.
Cehowski was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged. Cehowski was held until sober and ordered to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 7/2/2019 to answer to the charge.
Geiling, Christopher M. 60 of Turners Falls MA
On 6/8/19 at approximately 12:55PM Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal St in the Town of Brattleboro for a report of a shoplifter in the store. Prior to police arrival on scene it was reported the male subject had left the store with approximately $425 in products without making payment, but had returned to the store when confronted by an employee.
Upon arrival the shoplifter was identified as Christopher M. Geiling 60 of Turners Falls, MA. Geiling was identified as the same male who had previously stolen products from this store on 4 separate occasions. Geiling was issued a trespass warning for the store and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 7/23/19 at 0800 hours.
