Kenneth Craig, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 20 2019 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on foot patrol on Canal Street when they came across Kenneth Craig smoking crack cocaine. Subsequent investigation revealed that Craig was in possession of cocaine. Craig was issued with a citation, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on August 27 to face the charge.
Lynn Norman, 60, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 20 2019 at approximately 1130 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Generous Street for an intoxication complaint. Upon arrival officers found Lynn Norman, who was intoxicated in violation of her court-ordered conditions of release. Norman was issued a citation and released. Norman will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on August 27 to face the charge of Contempt of Court.
Daniel Baldwin-Page, 20, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/10/2019 at approximately 1624 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a complaint of a theft on Glen St. Subsequent investigation showed that Daniel Baldwin-Page Burglarized a house on Glen St. On 7/20/2019 at approximately 2200 hours, Daniel Baldwin-Page turned himself in to the Brattleboro Police. He was arrested and later released with a citation and conditions. Baldwin-Page will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Divison on July 22nd 2019 to face the charge.
Danielle Braverman, 33, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 18, 2019, at approximately 2330 hours, while on patrol, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were flagged down and informed of a suspected impaired driver, at a business on Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation revealed that Danielle I. Braverman had violated her Conditions of Release, when she was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Braverman was held until she was sober and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 08/27/2019 to answer to the charges.
Stephanie Cavanaugh, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 18, 2019, at approximately 2157 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of Unlawful Trespass, at a business on Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation revealed that Stephanie C. Cavanaugh had trespassed on private property when she cut roses off a bush in the parking lot. Cavanaugh was cited for Unlawful Trespass and Unlawful Mischief and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 08/27/2019 to answer to the charges.
Misbah Adbul-Kareem, 34, of Wilmington, VT
On 7/17/19 Brattleboro Police encountered Misbah Abdul-Kareem on Chapin St. Kareem currently has a court ordered curfew prohibiting him to be out at night. This curfew stems from multiple alleged car thefts that occurred during the overnight hours.
Kareem was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Kareem was ordered held on $200.00, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/18/19.
Jonathan Rutledge, 41, of St Johnsbury, VT
On 07/17/19, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Brattleboro Transportation Center for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Jonathan A. Rutledge, 41, of St Johnsbury VT had assaulted another male. The victim was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Rutledge was lodged until sober and ordered to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 07/18/19 to answer to the charge of Simple Assault.
Misbah Abdul-Kareem, 34, of Brattleboro, VT
On 07/14/2019 Brattleboro Polce responded to a residence on Frost Place for a report of a possible conditions of release violation as well as a trespassing violation.
Through investigation it was determined that Misbah A. Abdul-Kareem entered the lands of the residence on Frost Place that he had been previously trespassed from and violated his current conditions of release by being within 300 feet of the residence.
Abdul-Kareem was issued a citation to appear in court on 07/23/2019 at 0800 hours.
Augustus Hatch, 27, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/13/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 30.
Investigation revealed that the operator, Augustus Hatch, a 27 year old male from Brattleboro, had a criminally suspended license.
Hatch was taken into custody, processed, and released on a citation. Hatch will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/20/19 to answer his charge.
Danielle Braverman, 33, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/13/19 at approximately 10:02 AM Officers from the Brattleboro Police Dept. responded to a local community center for a report of a disordery subject. The complainant reported a female was yelling and spitting at security.
Upon arrival I met with staff and the female subject, identified as Danielle Braverman, 33 of Brattleboro. Braverman was still upset, but did calm down while the investigation was conducted.
A male witness advised police Braverman’s volatile behavior had caused them to cancel meeting with incoming clients. Braverman had a strong odor of intoxicating beverages about her person. A records check confirmed Braverman had conditions of release prohibiting her from drinking alcoholic beverages.
Braverman was arrested for disorderly conduct and violating her conditions. She was transported to the Brattleboro Police station where she was processed and released on citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 8/20/2019 at 0800 hours.
