Officer Penniman On 9/26/19 Brattleboro Police were conducing a foot patrol in the area under the Elm St. Bridge. While on patrol, they observed a female displaying indicators of drug usage. Investigation revealed that Tamsyn Maskell, a 44 year old female, was in possession of herion. Maskell was issued a citation for 11/5/19 for possession of heroin, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on that date to answer her charge.

Officer Cunningham On September 24, 2019, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Oak Grove Avenue, in the town of Brattleboro, for an illumination required violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Ryan Cobb, a 24 year old male from Brattleboro, VT. Subsequent investigation revealed that Cobb’s driver’s license was suspended in Vermont. Cobb also gave a fictitious name when he was first found. Cobb was issued a citation for driving with a criminally suspended license, and false reports to law enforcement authorities. Cobb will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on November 05, 2019 to answer for the charges. Shenandoah Gilbert, 43, of Vernon, VT
Officer Penniman On 9/21/19, Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle parked in a lot on Canal St. This lot is known to Police for high criminal activity. Police made contact with the operator of the vehicle, Shenandoah Gilbert, a 43 year old female from Vernon, VT. Investigation revealed that Gilbert was in possession of heroin. Gilbert was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on a citation. Gilbert will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 10/29/19 to answer her charge. Justin Kidd, 42, of Wichita, TX
Officer Lockerby On 9/22/2019 at approximately 0123 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Putney Road. Officers located a subject in the middle of the roadway creating a traffic hazard. The subject was not allowing a vehicle to pass on Putney Road which is a public highway. The subject was also not listening to commands given by Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department. He was identified as Justin A. Kidd. Kidd was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Kidd was held until sober and ordered to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/8/2019 to answer to the charge. Justin Brown, 33, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 9/22/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due a violation. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Justin S. Brown, a 33 year old male from Brattleboro, for operating a vehicle on a criminally suspended license. Brown was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was issued a citation for the offense, and released. Brown will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 10/29/19 to answer his charge. Nicholas Dickinson, 38, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 9/21/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due to an equipment violation. Subsequent investigation revealed that the operator, Nicholas Dickinson, a 38 year old male from Brattleboro, was operating a motor vehicle while his license to operate was criminally suspended. Officer Llewelyn On 9/24/2019 at approximately 1524 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on directed foot patrol when they were dispatched to a report of a male exposing their genitals to a female in the Harmony parking lot. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Shawn P. Gallagher. Gallagher was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was held on $1,000 bail. Gallagher is to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 9/25/2019. Adam Florence, 40, of Searsburg, VT
Officer Cunningham On September 20, 2019, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Western Avenue, in the town of Brattleboro, for a registration violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Adam Florence, a 40 year old male from Searsburg, VT. Subsequent investigation revealed that Florence’s drivers license was suspended in Vermont. Florence was placed under arrest and transported to The Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Florence was issued a citation for driving with a criminally suspended license, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on October 29, 2019 to answer for the charge. The 4 adults will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 10/29/2019 to answer to the charge. The 1 juvenile will appear in Windham County Court Family Division on 10/24/2019 to answer the charge. Christopher Akey, 37, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Law On 9/12/19 at approximately 1508 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Cottage St. to assist another agency with a compliance check. Upon searching Akey’s residence it was found that he was in possession of heroin, crack cocaine, and multiple prescription pills that he did not have a prescription for. Akey was also in possession of a stolen iPad. Akey was issued a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/29/19 at 0800 hours to face the charge. |
