Johnathan Vanalstyne, 28, of Bellows Falls, VT
Sgt. Hamilton On November 12 2020 at approximately 1550 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street for a reported family fight. Upon arrival officers met with a woman who reported that her ex-boyfriend, Johnathan Vanalstyne, had become angry with her, and had taken and broken several of her possessions. Vanalstyne was later located, and subsequent investigation led to him being issued a citation for Unlawful Mischief. Vanalstyne is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on December 29 to face the charge.

Timothy Destromp, 53, of Brattleboro, VT
Det. Kerylow On 11/13/2020 Brattleboro Police arrested Timothy J. Destromp for violating his court ordered conditions of release. Through investigation it was discovered that Destromp had contact with a female subject which was prohibited per his conditions of release. Destromp was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted, photographed, held on $200 cash bail, issued conditions of release and was ordered to appear in court on Monday, 11/16/2020, at 1230 PM. Tiffany Scadding, 35, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Law On 11/8/2020 at approximately 0517 hours Tiffany Scadding was being released from the Brattleboro Police Department. While being released it was found that Scadding was in possession of heroin. Scadding was then released on a citation for possession of heroin and transportation of regulated drugs into a place of detention. Scadding is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 12/15/2020 to face the charge. Alan Stay, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Law On 11/4/2020 at approximately 0929 hours the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local motel for a report of a theft. The victim stated that Alan Stay stole his bicycle and later sold it. Upon further investigation it was found that Stay stole the bicycle and sold it to someone else. Stay was later issued a citation for petit larceny and is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 12/15/2020. Christopher Baxter, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Cable On 11/11/2020 at approximately 6:40 AM Brattleboro Police responded to a report of a suspicious male sleeping in a vehicle off Westgate Drive in Brattleboro. The male was identified as Christopher Baxter. Investigation revealed that Baxter was in possession of crack cocaine. A search incident to arrest yielded additional powder cocaine. Baxter was taken into custody and later released on court ordered conditions and to appear in court on 11/12/2020 at 12:30 PM to answer to the charges of Possession of Cocaine and Criminal Contempt. Gershom Moore, 46, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Fletcher On 11/9/20 at approximately 7:43 AM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responeded to a residence for a report of a physical domestic assault. The complainant reported Gershom Moore had assaulted her daughter. The complainant reported Moore has since left the residence. Upon arrival Officers spoke with the victim and witnesses. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not want medical attention. Moore was located not far from the scene. Moore was taken into custody and transported to the Brattleboro Police department where he was processed for the offense. Moore was held on $5,000 bail and ordered to appear at the Windham Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/10/20 at 1230 hours. Rickie King, 38, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Hamilton On November 8 2020 at approximately 1715 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were made aware of a possible violation of conditions happening at a business on Putney Road. Upon arrival at the business officers found Rickie A. King in contact with a woman with whom he was forbidden contact by active conditions of release. King was arrested for Contempt of Court, and thereafter released with a citation and conditions. King is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on November 9 to face the charge. Matthew Gould, 58, of Enfield, CT
Officer Penniman On 11/8/20 Brattleboro Police conducted a traffic stop due to several motor vehicle violations. During the duration of the stop, the passenger, Tiffany Scadding, a 35 Year Old Female from Brattleboro was arrested for a VT warrant. Probable cause was developed, and a search of the operator, Matthew Gould, a 58 year old male from Enfield, CT, along with the vehicle, was conducted. Gould was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of Crack Cocaine. Gould was issued a citation for possession, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/15/20 to answer his charge. Brenda Graves, 38, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 11/6/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Canal St. for a report of Brenda Graves, a 38 year old female from Brattleboro, trespassing at the business. Upon arrival Police located Graves exiting the establishment. Graves was issued a citation for Unlawful Trespass. Graves will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/15/20 to answer her charge. Kathleen Sims, 58, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 11/6/20 Brattleboro Police responded to the area of Green St. for a report of an intoxicated female. Investigation revealed that the female, Kathleen Sims, a 58 year old female from Brattleboro, had caused property damage to another’s property. Sims was issued a citation for Unlawful Mischief. Sims will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/29/20 to answer her charge. |
