Officer Law On 1/15/2021 at approximately 0001 hours the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Carriage Hill Rd. for a report of a possible domestic assault. Upon further investigation it was found that Wilfred Belluscio had assaulted his significant other throughout the day on 1/14/2021. The victim did not seek medical attention and sustained non-life threatening injuries. While on scene with Belluscio he was causing a disturbance on Lawton Dr. Belluscio was placed under arrest for 2nd Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and later found that he had an active set of conditions of release. Belluscio was held in lieu of bail, and is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 1/15/2021 to face the charge.

Officer Llewelyn On 12/3/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a citizen’s dispute on 1st Level Dr. Upon arrival the Officers spoke with the victim of the assault that just took place. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to BMH to be evaluated. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Thomas Ramirez a 28-year-old male. Ramirez was transported to the BPD where he was held in lieu of bail. Ramirez will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 12/4/2020. Janna Jarvis, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Carbone On August 21, 2020, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Grove Street for a reported Citizen Dispute. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Janna R Jarvis, a 44 year old female from Brattleboro, for Domestic Assault. Minor injuries were sustained by the involved parties, but no medical treatment was sought. Jarvis was cited and released on conditions, and is to appear in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on August 24, 2020, to answer to the charge. Officer Carbone On July 1, 2020, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to an assault that had taken place at a hotel on Putney Road. Subsequent investigation led officers to find probable cause that Dominic Graves, a 28 year old male from Brattleboro, had violated his conditions of release and committed the offense of Domestic Assault. Graves was located on Putney Road on July 2, 2020, and taken into custody. Graves was issued a citation and held on bail. Graves is to appear in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on July 6, 2020, to answer to the charge. Heath Fletcher, 41, of Hinsdale, NH Officer Penniman On 6/10/20, Brattleboro Police responded to a Hotel on Putney Rd. to speak with a female about a male harassing her and threatening her. Investigation revealed that Heath Fletcher, a 41 year old male from Hinsdale, NH, repeatedly called his ex-girlfriend, making threats to her life, which were deemed credible. Fletcher also showed up at the female’s residence, however left due to police presence. Investigation lead to the arrest of Fletcher for 2nd degree aggravated domestic, aggravated stalking, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct via telephone. Fletcher was ordered held on $50,000.00 cash bail, and will appear at Southern State Correctional Facility at 1230 for video arraignment on 6/11/20. Pablo Soto, 46, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cooke On May 23, 2020 at approximately 0455 hours officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Putney Rd for a report of an assault. During the course of the investigation it was learned that Pablo Soto, 46, of Brattleboro had assaulted a family or household member and knocked her unconscious. The victim was treated for injuries at the scene and was not transported to the hospital. Soto was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. The court was contacted and Soto was ordered held on $25,000 bail and issued conditions. Soto was ordered to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on May 26, 2020 at 1230 hours. Officer Cunningham On February 19, 2020, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Putney Road, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a report of Domestic Assault. Subsequent investigation revealed that Mark L. Zostant had assaulted a female he had a relationship with. The investigation also revealed Zostant interfered with the female calling for help when he ripped the phone from the wall. The female sustained no life threatening injuries. Zostant was taken into custody without incident. Zostant was held on $1000.00 bail and given conditions and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 02/19/2020 to answer to the charges. Emery Wainwright, 24, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cooke On September 30, 2019 at approximately 2058 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on South Main St for a reported domestic assault. Subsequent investigation revealed that Emery Wainwright, 24, of Brattleboro had assaulted a family or household member on two separate occasions. Wainwright was later located and arrested. Wainwright was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and later lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility as the court held him without bail. Rescue Inc treated the victim for injuries on scene. Wainwright is due in court on October 1, 2019 at 1230 hours. Timothy Calkins, 24, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cooke On September 27, 2019 at approximately 1741 hours officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local motel for a report of a family fight. Subsequent investigation revealed that Timothy Calkins, 24, of Brattleboro, had assaulted a family member on three separate occasions spanning approximately 4 months and on one of those occasions held the family member against their will. Nobody was treated for injuries on scene. Calkins was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Calkins was subsequently transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was held without bail per the order of the court. Calkins is due in court on September 30, 2019 at 1230 hours to answer to the charges of Second Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault x 3 and Unlawful Restraint. 2nd Degree Agg Domestic, Contempt of Court, Interference with Access to Emergency Services.5/27/2019 Schaner, Samuel. J. 30 Year old Male from Brattleboro.
Officer Penniman On 5/23/19 Brattleboro Police were called to an active dispute in a residence on Main Street. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that Samuel J. Schaner, a 30 year old male from Brattleboro, had assaulted a 44 year old female. The female sustained non life threatening injuries. Investigation also revealed that he violated court ordered conditions of release stemming from a prior domestic assault charges. Schaner also interfered with the victim’s ability to call 911. Schaner was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, issued new conditions of release, and ordered held without bail. Schaner will appear in court on 5/24/19 to answer his charges. |
