Kristopher Robinson, 27, of Brattleboro, VT
On 1/29/2020 at approximately 1926 hours Brattleboro Police Officers responded to a local business on Putney Rd. for a report of a male that was trespassing. It was reported that a male, later identified as Kristopher Robinson, had entered the business which he was previously trespassed from.
Upon further investigation it was found that Robinson indeed did go into the business and was previously trespassed. Robinson was issued a citation for Unlawful Trespass and is to appear at Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 3/17/2020.
Shane Young, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
On February 6, 2020, at approximately 0050 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of Unlawful Trespass, at a business on Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation revealed that Shane J. F. Young had trespassed on private property, violating a previous trespass warning, when he entered the store on that day. Young was cited for Unlawful Trespass and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on March 17, 2020 to answer to the charge.
Debra Bemis, 46, of Brattleboro, VT
On 1/15/20 at approximately 1:30PM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local grocery store for a report of shoplifting. The complainant, a store employee, advised they had recovered the stolen items outside of the store, but the female suspect had fled in a vehicle.
The store provided the video surveillance of the incident and the female suspect was identified as Debra M. Bemis of Brattleboro. A records check showed Bemis had been previously issued a Trespass warning for that business.
Bemis was located on 2/3/20 and issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 3/10/20 at 0800 hours.
Jason Moul, 38, of Bellows Falls, VT
On 1/18/2020 at approximately 4 PM Brattleboro Police received information and a request for assistance from Vermont State Police regarding a vehicle theft they were investigating. Brattleboro Police located and attempted to stop the vehicle on Putney Road however the operator fled and attempted to elude them by accelerating and passing other vehicles. The vehicle was located unoccupied on Harris Avenue. Brattleboro Police then located the subject in front of a business on Putney Road and apprehended him without incident. Subsequent investigation revealed that the operator, Jason Moul (38 of Bellows Falls), had also entered a residence on Putney Road which he was not privileged to be in.
VSP took custody of Moul. Moul was held in lieu of $10,00 bail and is to appear in court on 1/21/2020 to answer to charges of Unlawful Trespass into an Occupied Dwelling, Grossly Negligent Operation, Attempting to Elude an Officer and additional charges brought forward by VSP. Multiple other agencies assisted including Chesterfield Police, Windham County Sheriff’s Office and Brattleboro Department of Public Works.
Lynn Norman, 61, of Brattleboro, VT
On 1/4/2020 at approximately 1430, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main St where there was a report of trespass and retail theft. Officers responded, at which time they located Lynn Norman (61 year old female out of Brattleboro) at the business. Subsequent investigation revealed that while trespassing upon the property, Lynn Norman consumed the items in the store without paying. Lynn was then cited and released and will appear in Windham County Superior Court; Criminal Division on the 11th of February, 2020, to answer for the offenses.
Buck Mitchell, 27, of Brattleboro, VT
On 12/19/19 Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local store on Main St. for a report of a theft. It was stated that a male had come into the store earlier in the day and stolen meat from the store.
Further investigation revealed that Buck Mitchell had gone into the store twice on
12/19/19, and both times had stolen meat. Mitchell was previously trespassed from
Mitchell was later found and issued a citation for Retail Theft and Unlawful
Trespass. Mitchell is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal
Division on 1/28/20 to face the charges.
John Faulkner, 18, of Townshend, VT
On December 8 2019 at approximately 0100 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Frost Street for a suspicious complaint. Residents called saying that a strange man had come into their house uninvited.
Upon arrival the officers found John R. Faulkner, along with the resident family. Subsequent investigation revealed that Faulkner, who was not a resident, had come into the apartment without permission or any reason to think that he was allowed there. Further, Faulkner was found to be in possession of Ecstasy. Faulkner was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, and later released with a citation to his family. Faulkner is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division, on January 21 2020 to answer to the charges of Unlawful Trespass and Possession of Ecstasy.
Reuben Gottlieb, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
On 11/19/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Tyler Street for a trespassing complaint.
When police arrived they located Reuben J. Gottlieb on the property. It was discovered that Gottlieb had been previously trespassed from the property. Gottlieb was placed under arrest and was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Gottlieb was released on a citation to appear in court on 12/31/2019 at 8am.
Justin Clough, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
On 11/15/2019 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a disorderly complaint at a business on Putney Road in Brattleboro. Upon arrival a worker of the business told the officers that they wanted Justin Clough removed from the property because he was being disorderly.
The officers directed Clough to exit the property and Clough still refused. Clough was then arrested for Unlawful Trespass and transported to the BPD. Clough was released on conditions and will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/18/2019 to answer to the charge.
Justin Kidd, 42, of Brattleboro, VT
On 11/20/2019 at approximately 0645 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business near Spring Tree Road for a trespass complaint. Officers located and identified the subject as Justin A. Kidd. Kidd was issued a citation for Unlawful Trespass and released. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on December 31, 2019 to face the charge.
