Lt. Petlock On 02/12/22 at approximately 8:43pm, Brattleboro Police responded to a location on South Main Street for a reported trespassing complaint involving a female that was refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival, Officers made numerous attempts to persuade the female, identified as Jane A. Read to leave however she refused. Read was subsequently arrested, and provided a ride to another location where she was released with a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 03/22/22. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.

Jude Mischke, 53, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 2/12/22 Brattleboro Police were flagged down by an employee of a store on Canal St. The employee stated a male who was not welcome in the store had been in the store, and caused a disturbance. The employee gave a description of the male, and advised that the male went to another business across the street. Police made contact with the male, who was identified as Jude Mischke. Mischke was found to have violated court ordered conditions of release, trespassed, and stole from a business. Mischke was issued a citation for the above charges, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 2/22/22 to answer his charges. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court. Lauren Donovan, 41, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Washburn On February 5, 2022 at approximately 7:03am Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a Hotel on Canal St. for citizen dispute. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Lauren Donovan age 41 of Brattleboro committed the offense of Unlawful Trespass. Donovan was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Donovan was issued conditions of release and realeased on a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on February 7, 2022 at 1:00pm. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court. Leonard Kaleta, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Eaton On 1/30/22, Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Grove St. for a report that a resident returned home to find Leonard Kaleta inside their apartment, who then fled. Kaleta was located at his residence. He was subsequently issued a citation to appear in court at a later date for unlawful trespass. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court. Misbah Abdul-Kareem, 36, of Wilmington, VT
Officer Cooke On 12/14/21 at approximately 1552 hours Officer’s from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a bank on Canal St for a report of a subject trespassing. During the investigation it was learned that Misbah Abdul-Kareem, 36, of Wilmington, had entered the bank after having been served a trespass after warning. It was further found that Abdul-Kareem had active conditions of release that he was in violation of. Abdul-Kareem was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed. The court ordered that Abdul-Kareem be released on conditions and a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on 12/15/21 at 1230 hours. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court. Sarah Darling, 51, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Washburn On November 1, 2021 Brattleboro Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on Flat St. for a trespassing complaint. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Sarah R. Darling age 51 of Brattleboro committed the offense of unlawful trespass. Darling was released on citation and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on November 30, 2021 at 8:00am. |
