Larry Barrows, 61, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/30/21 at approximately 1214 AM Brattleboro Police received a 911 call with an open line. There was some type of dispute occurring. Investigation revealed that Larry Barrows engaged in a physical altercation with a male victim at a residence on Marlboro Road. The victim received no reported injuries. Barrows was issued a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/4/2021 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
Jennifer Bido, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/11/21, Brattleboro Police responded to the intersection of Main St. and Canal St. for a report of a female swinging a 2X4 board at vehicles. While in route, Police were updated that the female was now swinging the board at people.
Upon arrival Police observed Jennifer N. Bido, a 36 year old female, swinging a board at people. When police arrived, Bido ran towards the cruiser. Bido then attempted to leave the scene, and resisted police as they attempted to take her into custody.
Bido was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was issued a citation, and provided a courtesy ride back to her residence. Bido will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/20/21 to answer her charge.
Jonathan Hart, 25, of Brattleboro, VT
On February 23, 2021 the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to 77 Flat ST; Brattleboro Transportation Center for a threatening complaint. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Jonathan Hart age 25 of Brattleboro had committed the offense of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct. Hart was not on scene when Police arrived. Hart was later located and issued a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on April 6, 2021 at 8:00am.
Kevin Dennehey, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
On December 07, 2020 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a report of a assaultive male. Subsequent investigation revealed that Kevin Dennehey caused a female to fear for her life when she would not give him money or provide him a ride. Dennehey then chased the female back into the business where he was stopped by security and staff.
Dennehey was told to leave the property many times and refused. Dennehey also engaged in violent behavior when he pushed and pulled at gear of the staff members while they were protecting the female. The staff members also had to shield other co-workers from Dennehey when they were entering and exiting the building.
Dennehey was cited for Simple Assault, Aggravated Disorderly Conduct, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Trespass and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 12/08/2020 to answer to the charges.
Jocelyn Pond, 31, Brattleboro, VT
Matthew Montgomery, 41, of Brattleboro, VT
On December 5, 2020, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on South Street for a reported fight in progress. Upon arrival Officers were able to separate the parties and interview all who were present.
Subsequent investigation lead to arrests of Jocelyn S. Pond (a 31 year old female from Brattleboro) and Matthew M. Montgomery (a 41 year old male from Brattleboro). Both Pond and Montgomery were both charged with two counts of Simple Assault, while Pond was also charged with Aggravated Disorderly Conduct and Hate Motivated Crimes. Pond and Montgomery are both the appear in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on December 7, 2020, to answer to the charges.
All parties involved suffered injuries, but all declined to be treated by EMS.
Katherine Hildreth, 56, of Vermont
On 11/2/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Western Ave for a report of a disturbance.
Investigation revealed that Katherine Hildreth, a 56 year old female from VT, acted in an aggressive, disorderly manner towards another individual in a public area.
Hildreth was later located, and issued a citation for Aggravated Disorderly Conduct. Hildreth will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/15/20 to answer her charge.
Brenda Graves, 37, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/4/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a grocery store on Canal St. for a report of a shoplifter.
Investigation revealed that Brenda C. Graves, a 37 year old female from Brattleboro, concealed items within the store, and passed all points of sale. Graves was then verbally and physically menacing towards the asset protection manager.
Graves was located, and issued a citation for retail theft and aggravated disorderly conduct. Graves will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/24/20 to answer her charges.
Cherie Vickery, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
On September 08, 2020 at approximately 5:47 PM, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of two females fighting outside of a business on Canal Street. Subsequent investigation revealed that Cherie Vickery and Karissa Littleton, were yelling and fighting in the public area of the business. Both females sustained some bruising and scratches from the dispute. Neither female was transported to the hospital.
The females were cited for Aggravated Disorderly Conduct and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on October 27, 2020 to answer to the charges.
James Owens, 34, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 25, 2020 at approximately 6:24 PM, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a male tailgating and harassing a female while driving on Putney Road.
Subsequent investigation revealed that James Owens had a dispute earlier that day with the female. Later that day was yelling profanities, honking his horn, tailgating, called 911 and made a false report about her.
Owens was cited for Aggravated Disorderly Conduct and False Alarms to Agencies of Public Safety. Owens will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on August 26, 2020 to answer to the charges.
Jonathan Hart, 24, of Dummerston, VT
On 8/18/20 Brattleboro Police received a call from a complainant stating that someone was following them in a motor vehicle. The complainant stated that the male, later identified as Jonathan F. Hart, a 24 year old male from Dummerston, had followed him from Hinsdale NH, and was now following them around Brattleboro, attempting to run them off the road.
Police made contact with all parties on Main St. Investigation revealed that Hart had a difference of opinion with the complainant prior to this incident. Hart then followed the vehicle in an aggressive manner throughout town.
Hart was issued a citation for Aggravated Disorderly Conduct, and Negligent Operation. Hart will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 9/29/20 to answer his charges.
Hart was also issued two Vermont Civil Violation Complaints (VCVCs).
