John Pease, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
On 12/3/21 at approximately 0250hrs, Brattleboro and Hinsdale Officers responded to a residence on South St. for a report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival officers determined John Pease had acted in a threatening manner directed at a single subject. Pease was issued a citation to appear in court on 1/4/22 to answer to the charge of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.

Micael Bizuneh, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/31/21 Brattleboro Police responded to a report of a physical fight at an Inn on Putney Rd. Upon arrival and after investigation, it was determined that Micael S. Bizuneh had vandalized numerous vehicles in the parking lot, and had engaged in fighting behavior with an individual who owned one of the vehicles.
Police attempted to place Bizuneh under arrest. Bizuneh resisted, and assaulted responding officers, causing serious, non life threatening injuries. Bizuneh punched, kicked, and threw the officer to the ground.
Bizuneh was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There, he assaulted officers by spitting on them, actively resisting, and striking out on Officers.
Bizuneh was ordered held on bail, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/1/21 to answer his charges.
Kyle Hamilton, 21, of Newfane, VT
On October 28, 2021 the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to a local Hospital for a disorderly subject. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Kyle Hamilton age 21 of Newfane VT committed the offense’s of Unlawful Mischief and Aggravated Disorderly Conduct. Hamilton was escorted off the property and released on a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division at Nov 30, 2021 at 8:00am.
Brian Mason, 61, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 11, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to an apartment complex on Putney Road for a reported disorderly complaint. Subsequent investigation found Brian L. Mason to have acted in a violent and turmultous manner towards another resident while on lands open to the public. Mason was issued a citation for Aggravted Disorderly Conduct and is to appear in the Windham County Superior Court; Criminal Division on September 21, 2021, to answer to the charge.

Jake Tarpley, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 20, 2021 at approximately 1857 hours officer’s were dispatched to a physical altercation occurring in a restaurant parking lot on Putney Rd. Upon arrival officer’s learned that a subject, later identified as Jake Tarpley, 32, of Brattleboro, had engaged in a fight with a subject in the parking lot then fled. At approximately 2210 hours, Tarpley was located on Clark Ave. During that interaction Tarpley fled on foot and resisted arrest. Ultimately, Tarpley was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged. The court was contacted and they ordered conditions of release and ordered Tarpley be held on $200 bail. Tarpley will appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on August 23, 2021 at 1230 hours.
Bruce LaChance, 57, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/23/21 Bruce Lachance, a 57 year old male from Brattleboro, flagged down Police to report an assault. Lachance advised that a male had threatened him with a knife. He advised this took place at an apartment complex on Putney Rd.
Police spoke with witnesses and reviewed surveillance. After investigation, it was determined that Lachance had harassed the male, attempted to cause bodily harm to the male, and the male had brandished a weapon in self defense and had not caused any injuries with it.
Lachance was issued a citation for Aggravated Disorderly Conduct, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/17/21 to answer his charge.
Mitchell Garlick, 27, of Brattleboro, VT
On May 9, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to an apartment building on South Main St. for a reported Citizens Dispute. Subsequent investigation found that Mitchell A. Garlick had acted in a violent manner towards another tenant of the building. Garlick was cited for Aggravted Disorderly Conduct and released on scene. Garlick is to appear in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on June 22, 2021, to answer to the charge.
Kevin Lynch, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/11/2019 the Brattleboro Police Department started an investigation for an attempted assault and robbery that occurred in the area of Park Place and Linden Street. During the initial stages of the investigation it was discovered that a male victim was standing near his vehicle when he was struck in the head and the attacker demaned his wallet. The attacker fled the scene and was not located. The victim was not injured and did not require any medical assistance.
Over the course of the investigation, police were able to positively identify Kevin M. Lynch as the suspect through DNA analysis. Lynch was located at a later date and was arrested for Attempted Assault and Robbery and Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
Lynch was issued a citation to appear in court on 05/25/2021 at 0800 hours.
Larry Barrows, 61, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/30/21 at approximately 1214 AM Brattleboro Police received a 911 call with an open line. There was some type of dispute occurring. Investigation revealed that Larry Barrows engaged in a physical altercation with a male victim at a residence on Marlboro Road. The victim received no reported injuries. Barrows was issued a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/4/2021 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
Jennifer Bido, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/11/21, Brattleboro Police responded to the intersection of Main St. and Canal St. for a report of a female swinging a 2X4 board at vehicles. While in route, Police were updated that the female was now swinging the board at people.
Upon arrival Police observed Jennifer N. Bido, a 36 year old female, swinging a board at people. When police arrived, Bido ran towards the cruiser. Bido then attempted to leave the scene, and resisted police as they attempted to take her into custody.
Bido was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was issued a citation, and provided a courtesy ride back to her residence. Bido will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/20/21 to answer her charge.
