Jesse Johnson,40, of Brattleboro, VT
On 08/26/19, the Brattleboro Police Department took a report of a burglary that occurred at a business on Flat Street. After an investigation, it was discovered that Jesse L. Johnson, 40 of Brattleboro, had smashed a window and stolen several items from the store. He was arrested and issued a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 11/05/19 to answer to the above charges.
Corey Whidden, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
On 08/03/19 at approximately 2:06pm, Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Brook Street for a report of a theft. Investigation revealed that Corey A. Whidden entered an apartment on Brook Street without permission of the occupants, and took a bag containing various items from the residence.
Whidden was located on Canal Street. He was arrested, and charged with the offense of Burglary into an occupied dwelling. He was lodged at the BPD in lieu of $2500 bail, and is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 08/05/19.
Daniel Baldwin-Page, 20, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/10/2019 at approximately 1624 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a complaint of a theft on Glen St. Subsequent investigation showed that Daniel Baldwin-Page Burglarized a house on Glen St. On 7/20/2019 at approximately 2200 hours, Daniel Baldwin-Page turned himself in to the Brattleboro Police. He was arrested and later released with a citation and conditions. Baldwin-Page will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Divison on July 22nd 2019 to face the charge.
Brattleboro Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at 802 E-Cig Supply on Putney Road on 05/11/19, between the hours of 10:00pm and 11:00pm. Investigation revealed that an unidentified male stole a large amount of merchandise from inside the store, to include vaping products. Attached are still photos of the suspect, who is a white male approximately 5'8"-5’10” with a heavy build and dark facial hair. He also appears to be carrying a satchel.

On March 9 2019 at approximately 0255 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Sam’s on Main St. for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival officers found evidence that the store had been broken into. Sam’s was searched but there was no one still inside.
Review of the surveillance video from Sam’s revealed that at approximately 0130 hours a single suspect broke the door, and thereafter at approximately 0250 hours the suspect returned, entered the store, and stole items. The suspect has not yet been identified. Anyone with information that can help identify and prosecute the suspect is urged to come forward.
Gallo Jr., Michael A., 37, Guilford, VT
On October 23, 2018 the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Michael Gallo Jr., 37, of Guilford, VT for Burglary and Possession of a Depressant.
Gallo was located after a business owner called 911 to advise that somebody was taking items from their business. Gallo was stopped on Canal St and found to be in possession of the items. Gallo was also found to be in possession of a depressant.
Gallo was released on a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the above charges.
Cassell Jr, Charles, R. 27 of Brattleboro
On 11/05/2018 at approximately 1030am Brattleboro Police responded to a shelter on Royal Road for a reported burglary that occurred over the weekend.
Through video surveillance police were able to positively identify the suspect that had broken into the building as Charles R. Cassell Jr. It was also discovered that Cassell had active Conditions of Release for a 24 hour curfew.
Cassell was later located at a residence in Wilmington where he is required to live per his Conditions of Release. Cassell was taken into custody by the Wilmington Police Department and was transported to Brattleboro. Cassell was issued Conditions of Release, ordred to appear in court on 11/06/2018 at 1230pm and was held in lieu of $10,000.
Lisa Marie Gendron Age: 25 Residence: Brattleboro, VT
On 06/08/18, Lisa Marie Gendron was located on Flat Street in Brattleboro and taken into custody as a result of continuing investigation into an incident that occurred on 05/24/18. In that incident, a female victim was assaulted by several individuals whom had unlawfully entered a residence. As a result of that incident, Gendron was charged with the offenses of Burglary and Simple Assault. Gendron was also the subject of 2 active arrest warrants stemming from previous charges. She was lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department in lieu of $5000.00 bail, and ordered to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 06/08/18.
Chyquan M. Cupe Age: 20 Residence: Hartford, CT
April B. Garcia Age: 25 Residence: Hartford, CT
On 05/24/18 at approximately 8:21pm, Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on School Street for a reported disturbance in progress. Vermont State Police also assisted in the investigation. This investigation revealed that a female was assaulted by several people whom had unlawfully entered the apartment. The female victim sustained minor injuries, and was not hospitalized. There were no weapons involved in the incident.
Several suspects were identified as a result of the investigation. Two subjects, identified as Chyquan M. Cupe and April B. Garcia were later located and arrested for the offenses of burglary and simple assault.
Cupe was lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department in lieu of $25,000 bail, while Garcia was lodged at the BPD in lieu of $5,000 bail. Both subjects will appear in Windham County Superior Court on 05/25/18.
This investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are expected related to the incident.
Paquette, Daniel S., 31, of Brattleboro, VT

On 10/20/2017 at approximately 8:21 PM Brattleboro Police responded to a commercial establishment on Elliot Street for the report of a burglary in progress. The caller reported that he was inside the business when the burglars broke in and during the incident he fired multiple rounds from a handgun at them. It is unknown whether any of the burglars were shot or otherwise injured, however there were no signs of a significant injury at the scene. The caller was not injured.
Police have identified multiple suspects and continue to actively investigate this incident. More information will be released as it becomes available.

Brattleboro Police Detectives continued to investigate the above described incident and probable cause developed to make a new arrest. On April 17, 2018, Daniel Paquette was arrested and charged with burglary, trespass and unlawful mischief. He was held on $10,000 bail and set to be arraigned on April 18, 2018 at the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division.
