Officer Penniman On 2/12/22 Brattleboro Police were flagged down by an employee of a store on Canal St. The employee stated a male who was not welcome in the store had been in the store, and caused a disturbance. The employee gave a description of the male, and advised that the male went to another business across the street. Police made contact with the male, who was identified as Jude Mischke. Mischke was found to have violated court ordered conditions of release, trespassed, and stole from a business. Mischke was issued a citation for the above charges, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 2/22/22 to answer his charges. Misbah Abdul-Kareem, 36, of Wilmington, VT
Lt. Petlock On 02/09/22 at approximately 6:00am, Brattleboro Police received a report of a subject violating a trespass order at a business on Canal Street. The subject, identified as Misbah Abdul-Kareem was located nearby. Investigation revealed that Abdul-Kareem was in violation of his Court ordered conditions of release which prohibit him from being in Brattleboro, with the exception of verified exceptions for appointments. It was also determined that he had been in violation of a curfew condition set by the Court, after investigation revealed that he had been present on Marlboro Avenue earlier in the morning. Abdul-Kareem was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 02/22/22. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court. Felicia Woodruff, 33, of Wardsboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 1/30/22 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due to suspicion that the operator, Felicia Woodruff, had an instate warrant, and was operating her vehicle with a criminally suspended license. The operator was confirmed to be Woodruff. Woodruff was placed under arrest due to her warrant, operating on a criminally suspended license, and contempt of court. Woodruff was issued two citations to appear at Windham County Superior Court: one for 1/31/22 at 1230 for her warrant, and one for 2/22/22 at 0830 hrs for the other charges. Officer Washburn On 01/23/22 at approximately 2:05pm, Brattleboro Police received a report that Misbah Abdul-Kareem was in a parking lot on Canal Street in violation of his court ordered conditions of release. Abdul- Kareem was located on Canal Street, and it was confirmed that he was the subject of active court ordered conditions of release prohibiting him from being in the Town of Brattleboro, with the exception of verified appointments. It was verified that Abdul- Kareem was in violation and he was arrested, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. He was issued a citation, ordering him to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 02/22/22. Officer Penniman On 1/20/22 Brattleboro Police located Sydney Clark Adams in a residence in Morningside Commons. Clark-Adams was placed under arrest for an active warrant, and for violating her conditions of release. Clark-Adams was held in custody due to the warrant, and issued a citation for contempt of court. Clark-Adams will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/25/22 to answer her charge. Officer Fletcher On 12/26/21 at approximately 0545 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Dept responded to a local residence for a report of a subject violating their conditions of release. The complainant reported Dianne Horn was outside his residence attempting to gain access. Horn was previously issued conditions of release to have no contact with the complainant or be within 300 feet of his person, residence, place of employment or vehicle. Horn was located seated in a chair on the back side, exterior of the residence. She was taken into custody without further incident. Horn was ordered held on $200 bail, to be seen at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 12/27/21. Officer Penniman On 12/22/21 the Brattleboro Police Department had contact with Kayla Gallant. Gallant was found to have an active VT warrant. Gallant was also found to be in violation of Court Ordered Conditions of Release. Gallant was taken into custody on the warrant, and issued a citation for Contempt of Court. Gallant will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/4/22 to face her Contempt of Court charge. Matthew Carr, 30, of Londonderry, VT Officer Abualjadail On 12/05/21, the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop at a business on Canal St. Investigation revealed that Felicia Woodruff was operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license. Police discoverd 1.61 g of suspected crack-cocaine and 0.406 g of suspected fentanyl inside the vehicle. Woodruff was charged with possession, driving with a suspended license, and a violation of conditions. Her passenger, Matthew Carr, was charged with possession. Both subjects were cited and ordered to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 1/4/21 to answer for their charges. Officer Cooke On 12/14/21 at approximately 1552 hours Officer’s from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a bank on Canal St for a report of a subject trespassing. During the investigation it was learned that Misbah Abdul-Kareem, 36, of Wilmington, had entered the bank after having been served a trespass after warning. It was further found that Abdul-Kareem had active conditions of release that he was in violation of. Abdul-Kareem was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed. The court ordered that Abdul-Kareem be released on conditions and a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on 12/15/21 at 1230 hours. Ofc Agualjadail On 12/09/21, the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to a business on Canal St. for a report of a possible domestic assault. Upon arrival it was discovered that though there was no fight, Jimi Boll was with a party he had court ordered conditions to not contact. Boll was arrested and ordered to appear at the Windham County Superior Court on 12/10/2021 to answer for his charge.
