Felicia Woodruff, 33, of Wardsboro, VT

On 1/30/22 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due to suspicion that the operator, Felicia Woodruff, had an instate warrant, and was operating her vehicle with a criminally suspended license.

The operator was confirmed to be Woodruff. Woodruff was placed under arrest due to her warrant, operating on a criminally suspended license, and contempt of court.

Woodruff was issued two citations to appear at Windham County Superior Court: one for 1/31/22 at 1230 for her warrant, and one for 2/22/22 at 0830 hrs for the other charges.

Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.

Gary Obrien, 65, of Brattleboro, VT

On 9/1/21 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Williams St. for a defective equipment violation.

The operator, Gary Obrien, was found to have a criminally suspended license.

​Obrien was issued a citation for the above offense, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 10/19/21 to answer his charge.

Shea Soboleski, 30, of Brattleboro, VT

On July 24 2021 at approximately 0130 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street for a reported fight.
Subsequent investigation revealed that no physical altercation had taken place, but that Shea Soboleski had driven to the business, and her license was criminally suspended. Soboleski was issued a citation and released from the scene. Soboleski is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on August 31 to face the charge of Driving with License Suspended – Criminal.

Felton Staton, 54, of Brattleboro, VT

On 5/3/21 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due to several violations. The operator, Felton Staton, a 54 year old male from Brattleboro, was found to have a criminally suspended license.

​Staton was issued a citation for Criminal DLS. Staton will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/15/21 to answer his charge.

Nichol Murano, 45, of Brattleboro, VT

On 5/1/21 Bratteboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on I91S due to observing a female; Nichol Murano, operating a motor vehicle. Officers knew that Murano’s license was criminally suspended.

Murano was issued a citation for Criminal DLS, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/15/21 to answer her charge.

Lize Brault, 42, of Brattleboro, VT

On March 17, 2021 at approximately 1723 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police
Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Western Avenue for suspicion of the operator having a suspended license and for a motor vehicle inspection violation.

The operator was identified as Lize V. Brault of Brattleboro, VT. Upon further
investigation it was discovered that Brault’s driver’s license was criminally
suspended. Brault was issued a criminal citation and released. She is scheduled to
appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 4/27/2021 to face
the charge.

Timothy Barbour, 57, of Brattleboro, VT

​On March 3 2021 at approximately 1520 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Putney Road and stopped a vehicle for an expired registration. Subsequent investigation revealed that the operator, Timothy P. Barbour, was criminally suspended and was in violation of a court-ordered 24 hour curfew.

​Barbour was issued a citation and conditions and released. Barbour is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on March 4 at 1230 hours to face the charges of Driving with a Criminally Suspended License and Contempt of Court.

Cara Rodrigues, 30, of Wardsboro, VT

On 2/4/21 in the early morning hours, Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle operating on Putney Rd. that they knew belonged to Cara Rodrigues, a 30 Year Old Female from Wardsboro. Police knew that Rodrigues’ license was currently under criminal suspension, and that she had court ordered conditions of release not to operate a motor vehicle.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop to investigate if Rodrigues was operating the motor vehicle, along with several equipment violations.

​The operator was confirmed to be Rodrigues. Rodrigues was issued a citation for Criminal DLS and Contempt of Court. Rodrigues will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/16/21 to answer her charges.

Justin Hale, 36, of Brattleboro, VT

On January 26, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Guilford Street, in the town of Brattleboro, for speeding. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Justin Hale, a 36 year old male from Brattleboro, VT. Subsequent investigation revealed Hale’s driver’s license was criminally suspended in Vermont. Hale was issued a citation for driving with a criminally suspended license, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on March 09, 2021 to answer for the charge.

Bernie Scarborough, 23, of Brattleboro, VT

On January 13, 2021 at approximately 1648 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Putney Road for a defective equipment violation. The operator was identified as Bernie E. Scarborough of Brattleboro, VT. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Scarborough’s driver’s license was criminally suspended and he also had two active Vermont arrest warrants. Scarborough was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted and photographed. Scarborough was issued a citation for Criminal DLS and a criminal citation for the arrest warrants, and released. Scarborough is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 1/14/2021 to face the charge for the arrest warrants. He is also scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 2/23/2021 to face the Criminal DLS charge.
