Officer Fletcher On 1/7/2021 at approximately 12:21 PM, Officers of the Brattleboro Police department responded to a local government building for a report of and individual who had threatened an employee. The complainant reported a staff member had been threatened over the phone by Christopher Andres of Dummerston VT. It was reported Andres told the victim he was going to get a gun and kill him. Andres was later located in the downtown Brattleboro area. No weapons were found on Andres. Andres is schedualed to been seen in court in regards to this incident on 1/8/21

Heath Fletcher, 41, of Hinsdale, NH Officer Penniman On 6/10/20, Brattleboro Police responded to a Hotel on Putney Rd. to speak with a female about a male harassing her and threatening her. Investigation revealed that Heath Fletcher, a 41 year old male from Hinsdale, NH, repeatedly called his ex-girlfriend, making threats to her life, which were deemed credible. Fletcher also showed up at the female’s residence, however left due to police presence. Investigation lead to the arrest of Fletcher for 2nd degree aggravated domestic, aggravated stalking, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct via telephone. Fletcher was ordered held on $50,000.00 cash bail, and will appear at Southern State Correctional Facility at 1230 for video arraignment on 6/11/20. Brandon Obenauer, 27, of Florida
Officer Penniman On 6/3/20, Brattleboro Police took a complaint about a male, later identified as Brandon Obenauer, a 27 year old male from Florida, was threatening her safety, along with her families safety. Investigation revealed that Obenauer, who believed he was in a relationship with the female, was threatening her safety, along with her family’s safety, and restricting her freedom. Obenauer was placed under arrest, and ordered held on $10,000.00 bail. Obenauer will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/4/20 at 1230 to answer his charges of Unlawful Restraint, Criminal Threatening, and Domestic Assault. Stetson, Thomas. 39 Brattleboro VT
Officer Winkler On 9/4/18 at approximately 0308 hours Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Williams Street for a report of Thomas Stetson breaking car windows. Upon investigation it was deteremined that Stetson smashed out the window of a vehicle as well as threatened individuals at the residence. Stetson was arrested and processed at the Brattleboro Police Department. He was temporarily lodged at the police department and later released on a citation to appear at Windham Superior Court Criminal Division on 10/9/18 at 0800 hours. Officer Kerylow On 04/06/18 Brattleboro Police responded to the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for a report of Mark J. Caslin Jr causing a disturbance inside the waiting room. Upon arrival, it was determined that Caslin had threatened multiple staff members and caused a disturbance inside the emergency room with other patients present. Caslin also broke a glass window for a door while inside the emergency room. Caslin was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and held in lieu of $1,000 bail. Caslin was issued Conditions of Release and a citation to appear in court on Monday, 04/09/2018, at 1230pm to answer the charges. Mark J. Caslin, 29, of Brattleboro
Officer Hamilton On April 6 2018 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a medical facility for a trespassing complaint. Subsequent investigation showed that Mark J. Caslin became disorderly while on the premises. Caslin had left the area when officers arrived, but was later located and arrested for Simple Assault, Criminal Threatening, Disorderly Conduct, and Unlawful Mischief. Caslin was held in lieu of bail, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on April 9 to face the charges. Marquis Lafayette, 57, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Wilson On 3/20/2018, Brattleboro Officers responded to a residence on Pleasant Street on a report of Criminal Threatening. Subsequent investigation revealed that Marquis D Lafayette 57, of Brattleboro had committed the crime of Criminal Threatening, Violated two court orders and, Interfered with someone’s access to emergency services. Marquis was later located and arrested. He was ordered held on $5000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 3/20/2018 to answer to the charges. |
