Jennifer Jarvis, 41, of Shelburne, MA
On 12/1/2019 at approximately 0041 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main Street for a report of a female acting out of control. Upon arrival to the area, officers located the subject who was identified as Jennifer G. Jarvis. Witnesses stated that Jarvis had been acting aggressively and disorderly in public. Jarvis was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct and released. She is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on January 7, 2020 to face the charge.
Frederick Habich, 52, of Guilford, VT
On 11/23/2019 at approximately 4:20 PM officers of the Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of a Canal Street business. The operator of the motor vehicle was identified as Fredrick Habich. Habich was in possession of what the officer suspected to be cocaine which Habich then attempted to destroy before being removed from the vehicle. Habich subsequently resisted officers’ attempts to control him. Habich was arrested and held in lieu of $200 bail. Habich was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court on 11/25/2019 to answer to the above charges.
Kayla Boyd, 24, of Westminster, VT
On 11/13/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Chestnut Street for a citizen dispute.
Through investigation it was determined that Kayla A. Boyd had threatened her roommate and caused annoyance in a public place by using obscenities.
Boyd was issued a citation to appear in court on 12/24/2019 at 8am.
Jake Tarpley, 30,of Brattleboro, VT
On 11/19/2019 at approximately 2134 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a parking lot on Putney Road for a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival to the area, officers located the subject who witnesses stated was the instigator. He was identified as Jake R. Tarpley. Witnesses stated that Tarpley had been acting aggressively and using profanity in public. Tarpley was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct and released. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on December 31, 2019 to face the charge
Christopher Pond, 34, of Brattleboro, VT
Douglas Reed, 43, of Brattleboro, VT
On 11/8/2019 at approximately 1300 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a property damage complain on High St. Upon arrival the officers observed a kitchen in the property to be trashed and a kitchen table to be broken. Christopher Pond and Douglas Reed where both cited for Unlawful Mischief and Disorderly Conduct and will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 12/17/19 and 12/24/19 respectfully, to answer to the charge.
Tyler Smith, 34
On 11/13/19 at approximately 3:45pm, Brattleboro Officers responded to a report of a man blocking traffic on Putney Rd. near the roundabout. Multiple callers reported the man, later identified as Tyler Smith, Jr., was jumping on cars and had smashed someone’s windshield. Smith immediately attacked the first officer to arrive on scene. The officer deployed a Taser to control Smith, but the Taser had little effect, stopping Smith only briefly. Smith attacked the officer again, charging him and repeatedly throwing punches at his head. A second officer arrived and deployed his baton. Smith charged the second officer, throwing punches at him, and was taken to the ground and placed in handcuffs by the officers. Smith was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault on an Officer, and Resisting Arrest. Smith will appear in court on 11/14/19 to face the charges. The two officers would like to express their thanks to the bystanders on scene who offered their assistance and support during and after the incident.
Corey R. Hale, 33, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/30/2019 at approximately 2215 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Putney Road for a report of a physical dispute.
Upon arrival officers located the subjects that were involved in the incident. Further investigation revealed that Corey R. Hale had initiated aggressive behavior in a public place.
Hale was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct, and released. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on December 10, 2019 to face the charge.
Anthony Rivera, 48, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/10/2019 at approximately 1747 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to 124 Main St. for a Trespassing complaint. Officers took statements from employees at 124 Main St. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Anthony Rivera. Rivera used obscene language in a public building which lead to his arrest. Rivera was charged with Disorderly Conduct. Rivera was also given a No Trespass order for 124 Main St. Rivera will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/26/2019 to answer to his charge.
Theodore Colehamer, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
On 09/15/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Canal Street for a report of a male who broke a window at the residence.
Through investigation it was determined that there was a dispute over a stolen bicycle and Theodore D. Colehamer broke the window and also destroyed some tents off of Elm Street.
Colehamer was issued a citation to appear in court on 11/26/2019 at 8am.
Justin Clough, 39, of Brattleboro, VT
On October 15, 2019, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the town common, in the town of Brattleboro, for a report of a male engaging in tumultuous behavior by kicking a porta potty over an embankment and damaged the information booth, while using obscene language in a public place. Subsequent investigation revealed Justin E. Clough, yelled profanities while kicking a porta potty and a picnic table over an embankment at the park. Clough was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Mischief and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 11/26/2019 to answer to the charges.
