On August 18, 2021 at approximately 3:06pm Brattleboro Police Officers responded to a residence on Elm ST. for several subjects in a physical altercation. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Stephanie Cavanaugh age 34, Charles E. Harrison III age 59, and Gershom J. Moore age 47 all of Brattleboro, committed the offense of Disorderly Conduct. Moore was released on a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on October 5, 2021 at 8:00am while Cavanaugh and Harrison were released on citations to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on October 19, 2021 at 8:00am.

Janna Jarvis, 45, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 28, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on South Main Street for a reported family fight. Subsequent investigation found that Janna R Jarvis had assaulted her partner. Jarvis was placed under arrest for 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault. While Jarvis was being taken into custody, she became aggressive and assaultive towards the Officers. Due to her behavior, Jarvis will also face charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault on Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Jarvis was ordered to be held without bail, and was arrainged on her charges on August 30, 2021, at the Windham County Superior Court.
Justin Clough, 41, of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/24/21 at approximately 1249 hours the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a property on South St. for a disorderly complaint. It was reported that Justin Clough was acting out all day and destroyed property that was not his.
Upon further investigation it was found that Clough did in fact destroy property that did not belong to him. Clough also threw several items into the open parking lot and was yelling at employees at the property. Clough was cited to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/5/21.
Michael Stone, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
Rowan Lynch, 18, of Putney, VT
On July 27, 2021, Officers responded to parking garage on Flat Street for a reported assault. Subsequent investigation found that Michael Stone and Rowan Lynch had engaged in mutual combat. No one involved suffered any life-threatening injuries. Both Stone and Lynch were issued citations for Disorderly Conduct.

Jake Tarpley, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 20, 2021 at approximately 1857 hours officer’s were dispatched to a physical altercation occurring in a restaurant parking lot on Putney Rd. Upon arrival officer’s learned that a subject, later identified as Jake Tarpley, 32, of Brattleboro, had engaged in a fight with a subject in the parking lot then fled. At approximately 2210 hours, Tarpley was located on Clark Ave. During that interaction Tarpley fled on foot and resisted arrest. Ultimately, Tarpley was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged. The court was contacted and they ordered conditions of release and ordered Tarpley be held on $200 bail. Tarpley will appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on August 23, 2021 at 1230 hours.
Michael Twichell, 41, of CT
On 8/4/21 Brattleboro Police responded to Main St. for a theft report. The complaining party advised that they had observed a male in their vehicle, and were now missing belongings.
The reporting party advised that they could see the male, as he was still in the area.
Police questioned the male; Michael Twichell. Twichell was found to be in possession of the stolen items.
When Twichell was advised that he was under arrest, he became disorderly, and yelled hate speech towards the victim.
Twichell was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and released on a citation. Twichell will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 9/21/21 to answer his charge.
Kenneth Ganem, 65, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 10 2021 at approximately 1345 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main Street for a trespassing complaint.
Subsequent investigation revealed that Kenneth Ganem had been inside the business and become threatening and disorderly. Ganem was located and issued a citation, and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Divison on August 17 to face the charge of Disorderly Conduct.
Kenneth Ganem, 65, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 27, 2021 at approximately 3:13pm. the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to the area of the Whetstone walkway for an assault that had just occurred. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined Kenneth Ganem age 65 of Brattleboro committed the offenses of Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Violation of Conditions of release. Ganem was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Ganem was ordered held on $200.00. and was cited to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 28, 2021 at 12:30pm.
Anastasia King, 22, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 6, 2021 Brattleboro Police responded to John Seitz Drive for a vandalism complaint. When police arrived they found a female had smashed the windshield of a vehicle. The female was later identified as Anastasia King. On July 14, 2021 police located and arrested King for the incident. King was issued a citation to appear in court on August 13, 2021.
David Flood, 58, of Brookline, VT
Theodore Gray, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/2/21 Brattleboro Police responded to a parking lot on Putney Rd. for a report of a physical fight between two males.
Investigation revealed that David Flood and Theodore Gray had a physical altercation in a public parking lot after a road rage incident on Putney Rd.
Neither individual sustained any serious injury, and both declined medical attention. Both were issued citations for Disorderly Conduct. Both will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/17/21 to answer their charge.
