Engstrom, Carl. R. 24 Year Old Male from Newfane, VT
On 12/8/18 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop due to an equipment violation. The operator, identified as Carl R. Engstrom, a 24 year old male from Newfane, VT, did not have a valid license. Engstrom also had a warrant for his arrest stemming from a similar operating charge.
Engstrom was placed under arrest due to the warrant, and the fact that he did not have a valid license. Engstrom was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was processed, and lodged in lieu of bail. Engstrom will appear in court on 12/10/18 at 1230 to answer for the warrant, and on 1/22/18 at 0830 for his new charge.

On 10/6/18 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle that had plates that did not match the vehicle.
Police made contact with the operator, Carl R. Engstrom, a 24 year old male from Brattleboro. Investigation revealed that Engstrom’s license was revoked.
Engstrom was issued a citation for License Required for 11/13/18.
McNary, William. D. 22 Year Old Male from Brattleboro.
On 5/22/18 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt 9 for several vehicle equipment infactions. The operator, William D. McNary, a 22 Year Old Male from Brattleboro, had a criminally suspended license. McNary was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and released on a citation for 6/26/18
Nathan R. Fiset Age: 25 Residence: Ashuelot, NH
On 05/13/18 at approximately 10:58pm, Brattleboro Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Putney Road after observing several violations. Investigation revealed that the operator, identified as Nathan R. Fiset was impaired and his driver’s license was criminally suspended in Vermont. Addtionally, Fiset was the subject of an active arrest warrant.
Fiset was arrested, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged in lieu of $1000.00 bail related to the arrest warrant. He was issued a citation for the criminal charges, ordering him to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 05/29/18.
Rochefort, Kenneth. A. 41 Year Old Male from Brattleboro.
Clement, Jodi. L. 52 Year Old Female from Brattleboro.
In the morning hours of 5/9/18 Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle parked beside a house in the downtown area known to Police for narcotic activity. A check of the vehicle’s registration showed that the plate did not belong to the vehicle, and that the registration was expired.
Once the vehicle began to drive away, police initiated a traffic stop. Initially all 3 occupants tried to distance themselves from the vehicle. All were detained for investigation.
Investigation revealed that the operator, Kenneth Rochefort, a 41 Year Old Male from Brattleboro, had a criminally suspended licenese. One of the passengers, Jodi Clement, a 52 Year Old Female from Brattleboro, was arrested for providing false information to police officers.
Both parties were cited and released on scene. Both will appear on 6/19/18 at the Windham County Superior Court to face their charges.
Bengtson, Joel. F. 36 Year Old Male from Brattleboro
On the evening of 5/8/18 Brattleboro Police spotted a vehicle in the down town area in areas known for high narcotic usage. The vehicle in question is known to Police to often be operated by Joel F. Bengtson, a 36 Year Old Male from Brattleboro who has a criminally suspended license.
After visually confirming that the operator was Bengtson, Police initiated a traffic stop. Bengtson was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Station where he was processed. Bengtston was released on a citation and will appear at the Windham County Superior Court on 6/19/18 to answer his charge.
Philip H. Patoine, Jr. Age: 31 Residence: Hinsdale, NH
On 05/03/18 at approximately 5:23pm, Brattleboro Police conducted a traffic stop on Frost Street for an equipment violation and having suspected that the operator was under suspension. It was confirmed that the operator (Philip Patoine’s) Vermont driver’s license was under criminal suspension. He was arrested, and later released with a citation ordering him to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 06/19/18.
Vikki Putnam, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
On 03/24/18 at approximately 5:20 p.m. the Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Guilford St. Upon investigation it was determined, the operator, Vikki N. Putnam, 36, of Brattleboro was operarting a motor vehicle on a public highway with a criminally suspended license. Putnam was arrested for this incident and transported to the Brattleboro Police Station. Putnam was processed and relaeased with a citation to appear at Windham Superior Court on 05/01/18.
Tyler J Taitague, 25, of Bethel VT

Jocelyn Pond, 27, of Brattleboro
On 3/5/2018, Brattleboro Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked on Elm Street, and made contact with its occupants. They were identified as Tyler J Taitague 25, Andrea L Veroneau 29 both of Bethel VT, and Jocelyn Pond 27 of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation revealed that Taitague was operating a vehicle while having a Criminally Suspended driver’s license. His passenger Veroneau was found to be in possession of heroin and Pond was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. All three were arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where they were fingerprinted and photographed. They were later ordered released by a Judge on Conditions. Taitague, Veroneau and Pond are scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 4/10/2018 to answer to the charges.
Chandler Hurley, 19, of Pownal, VT
On 3/5/2018 at approximately 4:13 PM Brattleboro Police were performing motor vehicle enforcement on Maple Street. A motor vehicle stop was initiated with Chandler Hurley (19 of Pownal), the operator of gray Volkswagen Jetta. Hurley’s license to operate a motor vehicle had been criminally suspended for a prior conviction of DUI. Hurley was arrested and later released on a citation to appear at court on 4/10/18 to answer to the charge of Driving with a Criminally Suspended License.
