Ebon Longueil, 30, of Brattleboro, VT
On 11/19/19 Brattleboro Police Responded to a residence on High St. in Brattleboro for a report of a domestic assault.
Upon arrival, Police spoke with all parties involved, and investigation revealed that Ebon S. Longueil, a 30 year old male from Brattleboro, committed the crime of Domestic Assault.
Longueil was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There Longueil was lodged, and issued court ordered conditions of release, and was ordered held in lieu of bail.
Longueil will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/19/19 to answer his charge.
There were no injuries to either party.
Lyman Bruce, 51, of Brattleboro, VT
On 9/12/19 at approximately 1730 hours Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Grove St. for a report of an assault. It was reported that Lyman Bruce hit a female he was in a relationship with.
Upon investigation it was found that Bruce had struck the victim. None of the parites were treated for any injuries. Bruce was later arrested and is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 9/13/19.
Wayne Mineau, 52, of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/9/19 at approximately 7:05 AM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Dept responded to a local motel for a report of a physical domestic dispute.
Upon arrival Officers spoke with the male victim who reported he was punched in the face by his father, Wayne Mineau 52 of Brattleboro. The victim did not require medical attention for his injury. Mineau did admit to striking his son 1 time.
Mineau was transported to the Brattlkeboro Police station where he was processed for this offense. He was ordered held until sober and later released on conditions and citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 8/12/19 at 1230 hours.
Nathan Munday, 24, of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/6/2019 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department met with a female subject who wanted to report a dispute. Further investigation revealed that the victim was threatened with a firearm. Officers obtained evidence and statements about the incident. Officers later located the suspect who was identified as Nathan D. Munday and placed him under arrest. Munday was then transported back to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was cited and released. Munday was issued conditions of release and issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 8/6/19 at 1230 hours.
Matthew Brooks, 21, of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/2/19 the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street for a report of a domestic dispute. Subsequent investigation revealed that an argument between the victim and Matthew Brooks, 21 y/o male of Brattleboro VT became physical and caused pain to the victim. Brooks was not in the area at the time of the intital investigation. Officers later responded to a residence on Canal Street for a report of a dispute at which time Brooks was located and taken into custody. Brooks was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and lodged. Brooks was later provided conditions of release and a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 8/5/19 at 1230pm.
Nolan Brown, 25, of Jamaica, VT
On July 7, 2019 Officers of Brattleboro Police Department took a statement about a Domestic Assault. Subsequently, on July 8, 2019, Nolan Brown was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault and violating his probation. No one was transported to the hospital as a result of this incident. Brown is currently being held at Southern State Correctional Facility and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on July 9, 2019 to face the charges.
Xavier Vargas, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/1/2019 at approximately 3:11 AM Brattleboro Police responded to a report of people fighting outside of a residence on a private drive in Brattleboro.
Subsequent investigation revealed that Xavier Vargas (31 of Brattleboro) had been in a verbal altercation with a 27 year old female. During the altercation Vargas recklessly caused injury to the female. The female was not brought to the hospital. Vargas was arrested and later released with conditions of release and a citation to appear at court on 7/1/19 at 1230 PM.
Becker, Jody 55 of Brattleboro
On 5/28/2019 at approximately 10:00 PM Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Western Ave. It was reported that there was a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival Brattleboro Police determined Jody Becker 55 of Brattleboro, had assaulted two female relatives. Both Females sustained minor injuries. Becker was arrested for Domestic Assault and later released on conditons and a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 5/29/19.
Hatfield, Thomas J. 18 of Brattleboro
On 5/31/19 at approximately 2:51 PM officers of the Brattleboro Police Dept responded to a local residence for a report of an assault. The victim reported he was pushed into a large piece of furniture by a family member who has since left the residence. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who declined medical attention for his injuries. The victim identified his aggressor as Thomas J Hatfield, a family member who has been living with him for over a month.
Hatfield returned to the residence at approximately 9:52 PM. The victim called the police who responded and placed Hatfield under arrest at that time. Hatfield was released on a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 6/3/19.
Domestic Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Interference with Access to Emergency Services, Unlawful Mischief
Weis, Mirela F., 21, Brattleboro, VT
On May 13, 2019 officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a dispute that was occurring on Black Mountain Rd. Investigation revealed that Mirela Weis, 21, of Brattleboro had assaulted the victim whom she was in a relationship with by biting the victim several times, hitting the victim and pulling the victim’s hair. No significant injuries were reported. Weis further prevented the victim from calling for help by destroying the victim’s cell phone. It was further learned that Weis had grabbed the steering wheel of the vehicle she was riding in and shut the vehicle off, both while the vehicle was in motion. Weis was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where she was processed and released on conditions and ordered to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on May 14, 2019.
