Dodge, Edward S. Jr 26, of Brattleboro VT
On 12/5/18 at approximately 5:00 PM Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local residence for a report of a domestic assault. The female victim reported facial injuries. Rescue Inc also responded to the scene to evaluate the victim.
Upon arrival Officers made contact with the male aggressor, identified as Edward S. Dodge Jr. who answered the door.
The female victim reported she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The female reported she had been knocked down, choked and punched in the face. Her phones were taken by Dodge for the duration of the assault.
The female was evaluated on scene by medical personel for minor injuries and released without transport to BMH.
Dodge was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police station where he was processed for First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault and Interference with access of Emergency Services. Dodge was ordered held without bail until his Arraignment on 12/6/18 at 1230 hours.
Douglas Reed, Jr, 42, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/27/18, Brattleboro Police took a report of an aggravated domestic assault from the previous night. Probable cause was developed to arrest Douglas Reed for 1st degree aggravated domestic assault, 2nd degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful restraint in the second degree. He had left the apartment where the assault occurred earlier in the day. Reed was located on 10/29/18 where he was arrested without incident and held without bail until court the next day.
Adams-Besancon, Catherine R, 34, Brattleboro, VT
On October 9, 2018 at approximately 1727 hours the Brattleboro Police Department was dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute occurring at the Mountain Home Trailer Park. Investigation showed that Catherine R. Adams-Besancon, 34, of Brattleboro had assaulted a 31 year old male. The male sustained non life threatening injuries and declined medical assistance. Adams-Besancon was arrested and later released on court ordered conditions and a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on October 10, 2018 to answer to the charges of Domestic Assault and Interference with Access to Emergency Services.
Comeau, Katie M. 24, of Brattleboro
On 9/18/18 at approximately 1521 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence in Brattleboro for a report of a dispute.
A male victim reported he had been sprayed in the face with air freshener, causing eye pain, by a female roommate. The male victim did not require medical attention for his injury. The female roommate was identified as Katie Comeau 24 of Brattleboro. Comeau was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police station. She was later released on conditions of release and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 9/19/18 at 1230 hours.
Strobeck, Peggy, M of Brattleboro
On 09/06/18, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Western Avenue for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that Peggy Strobeck, 33, of Brattleboro, had committed domestic assault. She was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Strobeck was released and will appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 09/06/18.
Skibniowsky, Jason, D of Brattleboro
The Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a possible assault that had occurred at a residence on South Main St. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Jason D. Skibniowsky, 31, of Brattleboro, had assaulted a female. Skibniowsky was arrested and held without bail. He will appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminla Division on 09/04/18 to answer to this charge.
Jeffrey Obrien, 49, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 18th 2018, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Cotton Mill Hill for a report of a fight. After an investigation, Jeffrey Obrien was arrested for Domestic Assault. Obrien was brought back to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing and was released on citation to appear in court at a later date.
Birchmore, Tyler J. age 27 of Brattleboro
On August 4, 2018 at approximately 2:54pm Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Maple St. in the Town of Brattleboro.
Upon investigation Tyler Birchmore age 27 of Brattleboro was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault. Birchmore was released on conditions and issued a ciatation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on August 6, 2018 at 12:00pm.
Thomas Sorensen. 49 years old, of Brattleboro VT
On Friday July 27, 2018 at approximately 0417 hours, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Oak Street for a family fight. Subsequent investigation showed Thomas Sorensen struck a female in the residence. Thomas Sorensen was arrested for Domestic Assault and later released on a citation to appear at Windham Superior Court on 7/30/18 at 1230 hours.
Holmes, Heather. L. 33 Year Old Female from Brattleboro, VT
On 6/16/18 Brattleboro Police were called to the intersection of Putney Rd and Town Crier Dr for a report of a physical fight in process.
Upon arrival Officers spoke to both parties involved. It was determined that Heather L Holmes, a 33 year old woman residing in Brattleboro had physically assaulted a male that she was in a relationship with.
Holmes was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault and Disorderly Conduct. She was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where she was processed, and releaed on a citation and conditions of release. Holmes will appear in court on 6/18/18 to answer her charges.
There were no serious injuries to either party.
