On 2/11/19 at approximately 0930 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police department responded to the lobby of the police station for a report of a domestic assault.
Officers met with the female victim who reported she was assaulted her in her home last night. The female victim declined medical attention.
Officer made contact with the assailants, Ashiah Puri, Rama Puri and Balak Puri. All three were taken into custody and transported to the Brattleboro Police station where they were fingerprinted and photographed. All three subjects were issued conditions of release and released on citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 2/12/19 at 1230 hours.
Abayomi Akinbode, 30, of Walpole, NH
On 02/01/19, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Main Street, for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that Abayomi Akinbode, 30, of Walpole NH had assaulted a female. Akinbode was subsequently arrested for domestic assult. The female had non life threatening injuries. He will appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division to answer to this charge on 02/04/19.

Manning, Bret age 21 of Brattleboro
On 09/21/18 an investigation was opened by the Brattleboro Police Department regarding a report where Manning abused a minor. In cooperation with the Department of Children and Family an investigation was conducted into this matter. On 01/29/19 Manning was arrested, charged with Domestic Assault, and issued a flash citiation with conditions of release to appear in Windham County Criminal Court.
Alexander Munroe, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
On 01/07/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Upper Forest Street for a citizen dispute. During investigation it was determined that Alexander M. Munroe had assaulted his girlfriend.
Munroe was placed under arrest and was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. He was issued Conditions of Release, ordered held until sober and was issued a citation to appear in court today, 01/07/2019, at 1230 pm.
Juvenile, 16, of Westminster, VT
On 1/4/19 at approximately 0808 hours Brattleboro Police responded to the area of Cedar St and Linden St. for a citizen dispute. It was reported that there was a physical altercation between a juvenile and her mother.
Upon arrival Brattleboro police made contact with both parties. It was determined that the juvenile had hit her mother several times.
The juvenile was issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Family Division on a later date to face the charge of Domestic Assault.
Dodge, Edward S. Jr 26, of Brattleboro VT
On 12/5/18 at approximately 5:00 PM Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local residence for a report of a domestic assault. The female victim reported facial injuries. Rescue Inc also responded to the scene to evaluate the victim.
Upon arrival Officers made contact with the male aggressor, identified as Edward S. Dodge Jr. who answered the door.
The female victim reported she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The female reported she had been knocked down, choked and punched in the face. Her phones were taken by Dodge for the duration of the assault.
The female was evaluated on scene by medical personel for minor injuries and released without transport to BMH.
Dodge was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police station where he was processed for First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault and Interference with access of Emergency Services. Dodge was ordered held without bail until his Arraignment on 12/6/18 at 1230 hours.
Douglas Reed, Jr, 42, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/27/18, Brattleboro Police took a report of an aggravated domestic assault from the previous night. Probable cause was developed to arrest Douglas Reed for 1st degree aggravated domestic assault, 2nd degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful restraint in the second degree. He had left the apartment where the assault occurred earlier in the day. Reed was located on 10/29/18 where he was arrested without incident and held without bail until court the next day.
Adams-Besancon, Catherine R, 34, Brattleboro, VT
On October 9, 2018 at approximately 1727 hours the Brattleboro Police Department was dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute occurring at the Mountain Home Trailer Park. Investigation showed that Catherine R. Adams-Besancon, 34, of Brattleboro had assaulted a 31 year old male. The male sustained non life threatening injuries and declined medical assistance. Adams-Besancon was arrested and later released on court ordered conditions and a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on October 10, 2018 to answer to the charges of Domestic Assault and Interference with Access to Emergency Services.
Comeau, Katie M. 24, of Brattleboro
On 9/18/18 at approximately 1521 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence in Brattleboro for a report of a dispute.
A male victim reported he had been sprayed in the face with air freshener, causing eye pain, by a female roommate. The male victim did not require medical attention for his injury. The female roommate was identified as Katie Comeau 24 of Brattleboro. Comeau was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police station. She was later released on conditions of release and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 9/19/18 at 1230 hours.
Strobeck, Peggy, M of Brattleboro
On 09/06/18, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Western Avenue for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that Peggy Strobeck, 33, of Brattleboro, had committed domestic assault. She was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Strobeck was released and will appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 09/06/18.
