Donald Brown, 26, of Brattleboro, VT
On 9/9/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Elliot St. for a report of an assault.
Investigation led to the arrest of Donald S. Brown Jr, a 26 year old male from Brattleboro, for Domestic Assault.
Brown was issued a citation and conditions of release for Domestic Assault, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 9/10/20 to answer his charge.
Michael Stone, 30 of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/24/20 at approximately 10:00 AM Officer of the Brattleboro Police department responded to a reported domestic assault. Michael J. Stone of Brattleboro called to report he had been involved in a domestic dispute and he needed to be arrested.
Stone was located nearby the residence and detained outside while contact was made with the female victim. Rescue Inc responded to evaluate minor injuries the victim sustained during the incident. The female stated she had been injured by Stone during an argument. The victim declined additional medical treatment.
Stone was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police station where he was processed for the offense. Stone was issued conditions of release and was released on citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 8/25/20.
Loren Bedward, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/23/2020 at approximately 10:22 PM Brattleboro Police received a call for a stalking complaint. A female victim reported that Loren Bedward of Brattleboro had been repeatedly following her, showing up at her residence, waiting at locations for her, sending her violent, threatening text messages and repeatedly calling her and threatening her after clear communication that the behavior was unwanted. A prior investigation from 8/19/2020 revealed that Bedward had repeatedly strangled the female victim.
A 911 call from the victim at approximately 1:40 AM reported that Bedward was actively attempting to force entry into her residence. Brattleboro Police along with Vermont State Police responded to the call. Brattleboro Police were on scene in under a minute and observed a male matching Bedward fleeing the scene. Reports were that there was also a male still inside the residence. Brattleboro Police secured the scene but were unable to locate the male that fled. The male was eventually identified as Bedward.
Bedward was taken into custody at approximately 5 AM. Bedward was ordered to be held without bail. Bedward is to be arraigned on 8/24/2020 to answer to the charges of 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Stalking and Burglary into an Occupied Dwelling.
Billie Joe Hudgins, 42, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 23, 2020 at approximately 2220 hours Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Flat St. in Brattleboro regarding a family fight. Subsequent investigation showed that Billie Joe Hudgins, 42 year old female from Brattleboro, had assaulted her significant other. Hudgins was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing and was lodged in lieu of $1,000.00 bail. Hudgins is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on August 24, 2020 at 1230 hours to face the charge of domestic assault.
Tyler Jungman, 22, of Brattleboro, VT
Brianna Bushey, 18, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 4, 2020, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Oak Street for reports of a noise disturbance. Upon arrival Officers were informed that the disturbance was actually a family fight and that there may have possibly been a weapon involved.
All parties were located and no injuries were reported. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Tyler J Jungman, a 22 year old male from Brattleboro, and Brianna Bushey, an 18 year old female from Brattleboro. Jungman was charged with Domestic Assault, Unlawful Restraint, and Criminal Content. Bushey was charged with Domestic Assault. Both were issued citations and released on conditions. Bushey and Jungman are to appear in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on August 4, 2020, to answer to the charges.
William Lipscomb, 52, of Brattleboro, VT
On 8/14/20 at approximately 1203 PM Officers of The Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence in the town of Brattleboro for a report of a physical domestic assault. The complainant called to report William Lipscomb had struck their adult son in the face.
Upon arrival Officers made contact with Lipscomb who was waiting outside his residence. After the initial investigation was completed, Lipscomb was taken into custody for domestic assault. The victim was treated on the scene by Rescue Inc for minor injury.
Lipscomb was released on conditions and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 8/18/20 at 1230 hours.
David Graham, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/23/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a motel on South Street for a report of a citizen dispute. Officers interviewed several individuals who were at the Motel. Further investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by David M. Graham. No life threatening injuries were sustained.
Officers placed Graham under arrest and transported him back to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed. Graham was issued conditions of release but was held in lieu of bail. He was issued a flash citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 7/24/20 at 1230 hours.
Cheryl Tine, 62, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/27/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Brattle St. for a report of a Domestic Assault.
Investigation revealed that Cheryl Tine, a 62 year old female from Brattleboro, had assaulted a family member, and put another individual in fear for their safety. Investigation also revealed that she interfered with one of the victims attempting to call 911.
Tine was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on Court Ordered Conditions of Release.
Tine was issued a citation for Domestic Assault, Simple Assault, and Interference with Access to Emergency Services. Tine will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/29/20 to answer her charges.
William Therieau, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/22/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Maple St. for a report of a household member threatening serious violence and arson.
Upon arrival, Police made contact with the residents, and spoke with them about their family member; William J. Therieau, a 31 year old male from Brattleboro.
Investigation revealed that Therieau, over the past several months, had physically abused, and put in fear for their safety, his elderly family members.
Therieau was taken into custody, and lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, issued conditions of release, and held on bail.
Therieau will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/23/20 to answer his charges.
Jennifer Clark, 23, of Brattleboro, VT
On 06/14/20 at approximately 06:15 hours, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on West River Rd, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a 911 hang up call. When officers arrived, it was determined that an assault had occurred and the suspect had fled the scene on foot. The suspect, was located in a swamp and identified as Jennifer A. Clark, 23 of Brattleboro. She was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. She was later released and ordered to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 06/15/20 to answer to the charge of Domestic Assault.
