Cheryl Tine, 62, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/27/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Brattle St. for a report of a Domestic Assault.
Investigation revealed that Cheryl Tine, a 62 year old female from Brattleboro, had assaulted a family member, and put another individual in fear for their safety. Investigation also revealed that she interfered with one of the victims attempting to call 911.
Tine was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on Court Ordered Conditions of Release.
Tine was issued a citation for Domestic Assault, Simple Assault, and Interference with Access to Emergency Services. Tine will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/29/20 to answer her charges.
William Therieau, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/22/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Maple St. for a report of a household member threatening serious violence and arson.
Upon arrival, Police made contact with the residents, and spoke with them about their family member; William J. Therieau, a 31 year old male from Brattleboro.
Investigation revealed that Therieau, over the past several months, had physically abused, and put in fear for their safety, his elderly family members.
Therieau was taken into custody, and lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, issued conditions of release, and held on bail.
Therieau will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/23/20 to answer his charges.
Jennifer Clark, 23, of Brattleboro, VT
On 06/14/20 at approximately 06:15 hours, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on West River Rd, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a 911 hang up call. When officers arrived, it was determined that an assault had occurred and the suspect had fled the scene on foot. The suspect, was located in a swamp and identified as Jennifer A. Clark, 23 of Brattleboro. She was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. She was later released and ordered to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 06/15/20 to answer to the charge of Domestic Assault.
Kathy Rashed, 53, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/7/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Marlboro Road for a report of a citizen dispute. Officers interviewed several individuals who were at the residence. Further investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by Kathy A. Rashed. No serious injuries were sustained.
Officers placed Rashed under arrest and transported her back to the Brattleboro Police Department where she was cited and released. Rashed was issued conditions of release and issued a flash citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 6/8/20 at 1230 hours.
Brandon Obenauer, 27, of Florida
On 6/3/20, Brattleboro Police took a complaint about a male, later identified as Brandon Obenauer, a 27 year old male from Florida, was threatening her safety, along with her families safety.
Investigation revealed that Obenauer, who believed he was in a relationship with the female, was threatening her safety, along with her family’s safety, and restricting her freedom.
Obenauer was placed under arrest, and ordered held on $10,000.00 bail. Obenauer will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/4/20 at 1230 to answer his charges of Unlawful Restraint, Criminal Threatening, and Domestic Assault.
Richard Taylor, 40, of Bellows Falls, VT
On 03/31/20 at approximately 13:01 hours, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a motel on Putney Rd for a report of an assault. After an investigation, it was determined that Richard M Taylor, 40 of Bellows Falls assaulted a female acquaintance. Taylor was subsequently arrested and charged with First Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault. He was released on a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 07/28/20 to answer ot this charge.
Kyle Brower, 23, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/24/2020 at approximately 2100 hours the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Putney Road to investigate a report of a sexual assault.
Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Kyle M. Brower for Sexual Assault (x3) and Domestic Assault. Brower was later located and placed under arrest at which time he was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and lodged.
Brower was ordered to be held in lieu of $10,000 bail and will appear in Windham County Superior Court; Crminal Division on 3/25/20 to answer to the charges.
Cecelia Brooner, 22, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/16/20 in the evening hours Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Oak St. for a domestic dispute.
Investigation revealed that Cecelia M. Brooner, a 22 year old Female from Brattleboro had caused minor bodily damage to her boyfriend.
Brooner was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and lodged briefly. Brooner was subsequently released on a citation for domestic assault, and conditions of release.
Brooner will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/18/20 at 1230 to answer her charge.
Jeremiah Harstin, 35, of Brattleboro
On 1/6/20 at approximately 9:16 AM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence for a report of a physical altercation. The complainant reported he had been arguing with his girlfriend who had thrown a coffee pot at him.
Upon arrival Officers spoke with the two individuals involved who both claimed minor injury caused by the other. After the initial investigation it was determined Jeremiah H. Harstin was the dominant aggressor in the situation. No medical attention was required or requested for the injuries sustained to either party.
Harstin was issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal division on 2/11/20 at 0800 hours.
Timothy Shepard, 39, OF Brattleboro, VT
On January 10, 2019, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Crescent Drive, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a report of Domestic Assault. Subsequent investigation revealed that Timothy C. Shepard had assaulted a female he was living with. The investigation also revealed Shepard interfered with the female calling for help when he took her phone.
The female sustained no life threatening injuries and declined medical treatment. Shepard was taken into custody without incident. Shepard was released on conditions and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 01/13/2020 to answer to the charges.
