Officer Washburn On September 17, 2018 Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were conducting a walking patrol of the park at 42 South Main St. Officers located two males acting suspiciously at the gazebo. Officers made contact with Tyler Partyka age 26 of Brattleboro who gave a false name. Partyka was later located and arrested on an active Vermont arrest warrant and also charged with False information to a police officer. Partyka is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on November 6, 2018.

Leclair, Dana. M. 30 Year Old Female from Brattleboro
Officer Penniman On 8/18/18 Brattleboro Police responded to an establishment on Canal St for a report of a stolen car. During the investigation, it was determined that the complainant, Dana Leclair, a 30 year old female from Brattleboro, had lied to police in an attempt to cover up actions that she had committed. Leclair was issued a citation for false information and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 10/2/18. The investigation for the stolen vehicle is still ongoing, however a warrant has been submitted for an individual’s arrest in connection to the theft. James A. Dyer, 30, of Cambridgeport, VT

Clement, Jodi. L. 52 Year Old Female from Brattleboro. Officer Penniman In the morning hours of 5/9/18 Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle parked beside a house in the downtown area known to Police for narcotic activity. A check of the vehicle’s registration showed that the plate did not belong to the vehicle, and that the registration was expired. Once the vehicle began to drive away, police initiated a traffic stop. Initially all 3 occupants tried to distance themselves from the vehicle. All were detained for investigation. Investigation revealed that the operator, Kenneth Rochefort, a 41 Year Old Male from Brattleboro, had a criminally suspended licenese. One of the passengers, Jodi Clement, a 52 Year Old Female from Brattleboro, was arrested for providing false information to police officers. Both parties were cited and released on scene. Both will appear on 6/19/18 at the Windham County Superior Court to face their charges. Graves, Mary E., 33
LT Warner On 5/3/18 Brattleboro Officers responded to a residence on Oak St. in an attempt to locate a wanted subject. Mary E. Graves was contacted and provided a false identity to officers. Graves was arrested on two active warrants, and issued a citation for False Information to Law Enforcement. Graves will appear in court on 6/19/18 to face the charge. Greene, Cheldon, J, 40, of Springfield, MA
SGT Emery On 05/01/18, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a male causing a disturbance at a business on Canal St in Brattleboro. The male was later located at a motel on Canal St. After a brief investigation, officers were led to a room at the motel. While speaking with another male in the room of the motel, it was discovered that there was suspected heroin in the room. A search warrant was applied for and granted for the room. Officers executed the search warrant and located in excess of 500 bags of heroin and a large amount of crack cocaine. The occupant of the room, Cheldon J. Greene, was found to have 2 active arrest warrants in the State of Vermont for previous assaultive charges. Greene was also charged with providing false information to a police officer after giving several false names. Greene was ordered held in lieu of $20,000.00 bail. Greene will appear in Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on 05/02/18 to answer to the charges of Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and False Information to a Police Officer. Officer Wilson On 4/25/2018 Brattleboro Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for having multiple violations. While speaking with the operator, officers observed Tyler Partyka 26, of Brattleboro to be a passenger in the vehicle. They knew Partyka to have an Active Arrest Warrant. When he was asked his name he provided Officers with a false name. A records check confirmed that Partyka did in fact have an Active Warrant for his arrest. Partyka was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. He is being held on $3000.00 bail and is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 4/25/2018 to answer to the charge |
