Frank Merrell, 38, of Brattleboro, VT
On 12/2/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were patrolling Canal St. when they conducted a car stop for a moving violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Frank Merrell a 38-year-old male from Brattleboro VT. Subsequent investigation revealed Merrell had an extraditable warrant out of NH for the possession of Fentanyl. Merrell was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro PD where he was lodged in lieu of bail. Merrell will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 12/3/2020 to answer to his charge.
Nathaniel Weaver, 32, of East Hartford, CT
On October 19, 2020 at approximately 2121 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department located a suspect wanted in Connecticut for Home Invasion, Unlawful Restraint, Strangulation, and Alteration of Firearm Identification.
Nathaniel Weaver was located at a business on Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro, while the officers were conducting a search warrant. Weaver was taken into custody without incident. Weaver was cited as a fugitive from justice, held on 500,000 dollar bail, and will appear in the Windham County Criminal Court on October 20, 2019 for the charge.
Jayshiem Daniels, 38, of NY
On 10/11/20, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Jayshiem Daniels, a 38 year old male from New York, on several charges, to include Resisting Arrest and Drug Possession. Daniels was ultimately held in lieu of 5k bail, and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility.
The Brattleboro Police Department had been coordinating with New York City Detectives in regards to Daniels, as he was the prime suspect in a shooting incident that took place in the Bronx, NY.
On 10/12/20, a warrant was issued for Daniel’s arrest by the State of New York in regards to the above incident.
Brattleboro Police were assisted by the Springfield Vt Police in taking Daniels into custody for the extraditable warrant.
Daniel’s was ordered held on $50,000 for the charge of Fugitive From Justice. Daniel’s will be arraigned on 10/13/20 via Internet Court from Southern State Correctional Facility.
Matthew Albonizio, 45, of Brattleboro, VT
On October 1 2020 at approximately 0900 hours Matthew N. Albonizio was taken into custody by the Brattleboro Police Department at a residence on Church Place. Albonizio had outstanding arrest warrants from Vermont and New Hampshire.
Albonizio was held in lieu of bail and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on October 2 at 1230 hours as a Fugitive from Justice.
Daniel Hahn, 35, of Warwick, MA
On September 15, 2020 at approximately 1706 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department received information that Daniel T. Hahn was staying at an Inn on Putney Road and that he had an active extraditable arrest warrant out of Massachusetts.
Officers responded to the Inn and located Hahn. Subsequent investigation confirmed the information that Hahn had an active extraditable arrest warrant.
Hahn was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Hahn was charged as a fugitive from justice, held on $100,000 bail, and will appear in the Windham County Criminal Court on September 16, 2020 to face the charge.
Patrick Devens, 57, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/30/20, Brattleboro Police conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. The passenger, Patrick Devens, a 57 year old male from Brattleboro, was found to have an extraditable warrant out of NH.
Devens’ warrant stemmed from a probation violation.
Devens was taken into custody, and lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department. There, bail of $15k was imposed.
Devens will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/1/20 to answer his charge.
Jodi Merchant, 39, of Brattleboro, VT
On June 8, 2020 at approximately 1902 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Putney road. Officers observed a female near a parking lot who they believed to have an active arrest warrant.
Officers identified the subject as Jodi S. Merchant. Subsequent investigation confirmed the information that Merchant had an active extraditable arrest warrant.
Merchant was taken into custody and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Merchant was cited as a fugitive from justice, held on 10,000 dollar bail, and will appear in the Windham County Criminal Court on June 9, 2020 to face the charge.
Hunter Dwinell, 27, of Vermont
On 3/31/20 the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a Motel on Putney Rd. Brattleboro PD was in contact with Keene, NH PD who had located a male suspected of stealing a firearm in NH, and of committing a domestic related offense in Keene, NH.
Keene PD advised that Hunter Dwinell, a 27 Year Old Male from Vermont, had within the last week stolen a firearm from a residence in Keene, NH. They also advised that he had destroyed items belonging to a partner.
Brattleboro PD made contact with the male, and took him into custody. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Dwinell was released, and issued a citation for the offense of Fugitive from Justice. Dwinell will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/16/20 to answer his charge.
Patrick Boyer, 33, of Brattleboro, VT
On 02/25/20 at approximately 10:45am, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the Windham County Superior Court where they arrested Patrick Boyer after it was determined that he was the subject of an extraditable arrest warrant in the State of Massachusetts. The underlying charges related to the larceny of a motor vehicle in Massachusetts.
Boyer was lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department in lieu of $10,000 bail. He was ordered to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 02/26/20 at 12:30pm.
Vikki Putnam, 38, of Brattleboro, VT
On 2/21/20 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Canal St. for defective equipment. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Vikki M. Putnam. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Putnam because Putnam had an extraditable warrant out of New Hampshire. Putnam will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 2/21/20 to answer to her charges.
