Officer Penniman On 8/23/21 at approximately 1700 hrs Brattleboro Police responded to the intersection of Estey St. and Organ St. for a report of an assault. Police contacted and interviewed the victim as to what had transpired. The victim stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, and that the male had stolen her phone. Police continued to speak with the victim, who recalled previous events of domestic abuse. The male, identified as Devon Wayans, was later located and placed under arrest. The male was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was lodged and held without bail. Wayans will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/24/21 at 1230 to answer to the following charges: Domestic Assault. 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault (X3) Interference with Access to Emergency Services. Grand Larceny Larceny from a Person. Stalking Criminal Threatening.

Heather Cobb, 23, of Chesterfield, NH
Officer Llewelyn On 2/19/2021 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Putney Rd. for a suspicious report. Officers arrived to find a man who appeared to have been the victim of an assault. The man had non life threatening injuries. Officers interviewed the man who was not hospitalized. The man reported that his cell phone was stolen from his coat pocket. Hours later, the officers located the suspect, who was identified as Heather M. Cobb, a 23 year old female. Cobb was arrested for Domestic Assault and Larceny from the Person. The cell phone was found on Cobb when she was searched incident to arrest. Cobb was issued a citation and condition and released. Cobb is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 2/22/21 to answer to her charges. Calijah Lindvall, 21, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Fletcher On 12/19/20 at approximately 2 PM officers of the Brattleboro Police department responded to Main St for report of a theft. The complainant reported Calijah B. Lindvall had just stolen approximately $40 from her. The complainant reported Lindvall had left on foot. Officers made contact with the complainant who provided a statement in regards to this incident. Lindvall was located a short time later and taken into custody. Lindvall was processed for the offense and released on conditions and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 12/21/2020 at 1230 hours. |
