Calijah Lindvall, 21, of Brattleboro, VT
On 12/19/20 at approximately 2 PM officers of the Brattleboro Police department responded to Main St for report of a theft. The complainant reported Calijah B. Lindvall had just stolen approximately $40 from her. The complainant reported Lindvall had left on foot.
Officers made contact with the complainant who provided a statement in regards to this incident. Lindvall was located a short time later and taken into custody. Lindvall was processed for the offense and released on conditions and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 12/21/2020 at 1230 hours.
Kristian Dubois, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
Ryan Keegan, 33, of Maryland
On 9/18/20 at approximately 12:20 PM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local Motel for a report of a physical altercation.
Upon arrival Officers spoke with the individuals involved and several witnesses. Ryan Keegan reported Kristain Dubois had stolen money from his wallet when he gave her a ride.
Dubois reported Keegan had chased her across the parking lot and her friend interviened. The friend was assaulted by Keegan in his efforts to protect Dubois. The victim sustained minor injury that did not require medical attention.
Both Keegan and Dubois were taken into custoday and later released on citation to appear in court on a later date.
Corey Whidden, 29, Brattleboro, VT
In the morning hours of 10/21/19 Brattleboro Police were called to Green St. for a report of a vehicle versus a bicyclist motor vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed that Corey A. Whidden, a 29 year old male from Brattleboro, was riding his bike on Green St. Whidden was wearing dark colored clothing, and did not have lights or reflectors on his bike.
Whidden was struck by a vehicle. The operator stopped immediately to render aid. Whidden then threatened and intimidated the operator into giving him financial compensation. Whidden then demanded more money under the threats towards the operator. Whidden fled the scene prior to police arriving.
Whidden was located, and placed under arrest for larceny from a person and extortion. Whidden was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was lodged briefly, and then released on a citation. Whidden will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 10/22/19 at 1230 to answer his charges.
Whidden received minor injuries.

Bobby Ray Smith, 48, Brattleboro, VT
On September 10, 2019, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a report of a theft and aggravated assault. Subsequent investigation revealed that Bobby Ray Smith had stolen money from a female’s backpack.
The female sustained minor injuries and declined treatment. The investigation is ongoing and there are suspects involved. Smith was arrested and charged with Larceny from the Person. Smith was held on $1,000 dollars bail and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 09/11/2019 to answer to the charge.
Douglas, Jamie, A 29, of Brattleboro
On 9/21/2018, Brattleboro Officers responded to Elliot Street on a report of a male dressed in female clothing taking a wallet from someone. Upon arrival, a description of the suspect was given and officers conducted a search for the suspect. During the course of the investigation Officers learned that the identity of the suspect was Jamie A Douglas 29, of Brattleboro. Douglas was later located and admitted to taking the wallet. Douglas was issued a Citation ordering her to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 10/23/18 to answer to the charge.

Jr Douglas, James, A. 28 of Brattleboro
On 07/23/2018 Brattleboro Police met with a female subject on High Street regarding a theft of her purse. The female reported she was walking on Green Street when a male subject came up from behind her and grabbed onto her purse which was tucked under her left arm. The female reported there was a struggle with the male and the male ripped the purse from her possession. As the male was running away, he fell and dropped the purse causing her wallet to fall onto the ground. The male then took her wallet and continued running. The description of the male that was provided matched the description of James A. Douglas Jr.
During investigation officers were able to determine that one of the female’s debit cards was used shortly after the theft at a business on Canal Street. The employee at the business reported that Douglas had used the card to purchase cigarettes.
Officers were able to locate Douglas at a public building on South Main Street. When Douglas was taken into custody he resisited arrest and assaulted a police officer.
Douglas was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and lodged. Douglas was issued Conditions of Release, a citation to appear in court on 07/24/2018 and was held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
Sylvester Little, 44 yo male from Brattleboro
On April 29, 2018 Brattleboro Police were called for Flat Street for a subject who had just been robbed by another subject. When police arrived an investigation took place and police later arrested Sylvester Little. Little was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was held on $250 bail on an unrelated arrest warrant. Little was issued a citation to appear in court on May 29, 2018 for the charge of Larceny from a person.
Rebekah Alex, 30, of Brattleboro, VT
In the early hours of 3/14 Brattleboro Police were called to a residence on Guilford St.
A resident of one of the houses called to report that a female had shown up at her doorstep, and had claimed to have been robbed and abandonded on the road.
Police arrived and spoke with the individual. The individual was able to provide two names, with one being Rebekah Alex.
The victim stated that she was in a vehicle with Rebekah and another associate, when Rebekah accused her of stealing money. The victim was subsequently ordered out of the car, and ordered to empty her pockets. Rebekah then took the victim’s cell phone, and drove away. The victim then walked approximately 1 mile seeking help.
Police then made contact with Rebekah, who was in possession of the phone.
Rebekah was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Station. There she was released on a citation, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/17/18 to answer her charge.
