Petit Larceny, Illegal Possession of Credit Card, Credit Card Fraud and Possession of Stolen Property
Murray, Qadir, N. 36 year old male from Brattleboro
On 09/30/2018 Brattleboro Police responded to a business parking lot on Canal Street for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle.
Police met with a female victim who advised while she was shopping inside the business, her credit cards along with other personal documents were stolen from her vehicle. Police also met with an employee from a neighboring business who witnessed the theft from the motor vehicle and provided a description of the male.
Through video surveillance police were able to positively identify the male as Qadir N. Murray. Murray was also seen on video surveillance at another business using the female victims credit card.
Murray was located at a later date and was issued a citation to appear in court on 12/18/2018.
Tiffany Palmer – 23 - Brattleboro
On September 13, 2018 Brattleboro Police received a report from a business on Main Street in reference to one of their employees using a stolen credit card to make fraudulent charges and also stealing money from the cash register. After an investigation took place police arrested Tiffany Palmer. Palmer was released on a citation to appear in court on October 23, 2018.
Kane, Nicholas. D. 30 Year Old Male from Brattleboro
On 8/27 Brattleboro Police received a complaint of a theft from a motor vehicle. The complainant was able to give an accurate time and location for the theft. Police viewed the surveillance footage, and recognized the culprit, Nicholas D. Kane, a 30 year old male from Brattleboro. Kane was issued a citation for Petit Larceny. Kane will appear at the Windham County Superior Court on 10/9/18 to answer his charge.
Murray, Quadir, N. 35 of Brattleboro
On 08/27/2018 Brattleboro Police responded to the Harmony parking lot for a theft from a vehicle. Upon arrival, police met with a delivery truck driver who stated 5 money bags were stolen from the delivery truck. Through video surveillance police were able to identify Quadir N. Murray as the suspect who stole the bags from the truck. Murray was located and was issued a citation to appear in court on 10/02/2018 to answer the charge.
Cyr Solari, 18, of Guilford, VT
Taylor Bell, 18, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 1, 2018 Brattleboro Police responded to the area of High St for the report of two males going through cars. Cyr Solari (7/28/00) and Taylor Bell (11/21/99) were located on Western Avenue and matched the description given of the two males. Through investigation it was determined Solari and Bell had entered multiple vehicles in the area and taken items from the vehicles. Solari and Bell were still in possession of these items. Solari and Bell were issued citations ordering them to appear at the Windham County Superior Courthouse on 9/11/18 to answer to the charges.
Rogers, Jonas F 37, of Springfield VT
On 4/17/2018, Brattleboro Officers responded to a business on Canal Street on a report of a theft from a vehicle. The caller stated that he had parked his vehicle in the parking lot and went into the store. The caller stated that when he returned that he witnessed a male taking items from his parked vehicle. The caller stated that the male then fled the area in a silver sedan. Brattleboro Officers later located the vehicle with the suspect inside. He identified himself as Jonas F Rogers 37, of Springfield VT. Rogers was found to also have an active arrest warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was held on $500 bail in relation to the warrant. He was issued a Citation for the Petit Theft and is scheduled to go to court on 5/29/2018 to answer to the charge.
Pablo Soto, 43, of Brattleboro, VT
On March 16, 2018 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Main St for the report of a 54 year old female advising Pablo Soto (7/15/74) stole her wallet. Through investigation it was determined Soto had taken multiple items from the female’s bag. Soto was issued a citation ordering him to appear at the Windham County Superior Courthouse on 4/24/18 to answer to the charge.
Phyllis Parent, 28, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/22/18 Brattleboro Police responded to 3 separate incidents at food establishments in the down town area.
All 3 establishments stated that a female, later identified as Phyllis Parent, a 28 year old female from Brattleboro, entered and demanded that the employees empty the register drawers and give her all of the money. Parent never threatened violence or furnished a weapon.
Parent received no money from 2 of the businesses, however stole a small amount of cash from the employee tip jar at a third location.
Due to cooperation from employees at the businesses, along with surveillance footage, Police were able to identify the female as Parent.
Through the course of the investigation it was determined that Parent had current court ordered conditions of release which she violated.
Parent was released on a citation along with updated conditions of release. She will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/27/18 to answer her charges.
