Officer Cooke On November 3, 2019 at approximately 2123 hours officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Birge St for a report of a theft. Investigation led to the identification of Andrea Higley, 36, of Brattleboro as the person who committed the theft. It was also learned that Higley had court ordered conditions not to have contact with the victim of the theft. Higley was located a short time later and issued a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on December 10, 2019 at 0800 hours to anwer to the charges of Petit Larceny and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Officer Lockerby On November 3, 2019 at approximately 2308 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Frost Place for a report of a motor vehicle break in. Subsequent investigation revealed that Corey A. Whidden had taken property from a vehicle that was not his. Whidden was issued a citation and released. Whidden is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 12/10/19 to answer to the charge. Fredrick Habach, 52, of Guilford, VT
Officer Kerylow On 09/15/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Canal Street for a report of a theft of a chainsaw from a motor vehicle. Through investigation it was determined that Fredrick A. Habich had stolen the chainsaw from the vehicle. The chainsaw was located. Officer Cunningham On August 25, 2019 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Cotton Mill Hill for a report of theft. Subsequent investigation revealed that Aaron A. Aulis took a watch, worth approximately $150.00, from a breakroom self. Aulis was cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/08/2019 to answer to the charge of Petit Larceny. Ethan Pinsonneault, 22, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Emery On 08/20/19, the Brattleboro Police Department took a report of a wallet that had been stolen from a business on Main St. After an investigation, the male was identified as Ethan T. Pinsonneault, 22, currently residing in Brattleboro. Pinsonneault gave false names to the officers involved. Once his actual identity was discovered, he was found to have active arrest warrants in the State of Vermont. He was arrested on the warrants and also for the theft of the wallet and giving false names. Officer Law On July 8, 2019 at approximately 1600 hours Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local business on Main St. for a report of a theft. A lost wallet was turned into staff. An employee later removed cash from the wallet before staff could turn the wallet over to Brattleboro Police. Upon investigation it was found that Tyler Jungman had stolen money from the wallet. Subsequent investigation revealed that Corey A. Whidden had stolen money from the business on two different occasions. Whidden was later located and issued a citation and released. Officer Cooke On March 12, 2019 the Brattleboro Police Department received a report of a Family Fight at a residence in Brattleboro. It was reported that a knife was involved in the incident, but nobody was injured. Following an investigation, Jonathan Garland, 23, of Brattleboro was arrested. Garland was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault, Simple Assault, Unlawful Mischief, and Petit Larceny. Garland was ordered held without bail. |
