Jude Mischke, 52, of Putney, VT
Officer Penniman On 9/25/21, Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Marlboro Ave. for a report of a stolen electric bicycle. The complainant was able to provide video footage, and a description of the suspect was gathered. Shortly afterwards, Officers received a complaint from the down town area of a male breaking into a vehicle. The description of this male was consistent with the description of the male for the bicycle theft. Officers later located Jude Mischke on Canal St. Mischke matched the description, and probable cause was developed to arrest Mischke for both offenses. It was also discovered that Mischke was in violation of his Court Ordered Conditions of release by breaking his curfew and consuming alcohol. Mischke was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was ordered held in lieu of bail. Mischke will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 9/27/21 to answer his charges.

Sean Wall, 47, of Hinsdale, NH
Officer Cooke On August 29, 2021 at approximately 2243 hours Brattleboro Dispatch received a report of subjects in the High School parking lot looking under vehicles. Investigation led to the arrest of Sean Wall, 47, of Brattleboro. It was learned that Wall had cut the catalytic convertor off of a vehicle belonging to the High School. Wall was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged for lack of $500 bail. Wall will appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on August 30, 2021 at 1230 hours to answer to the charges of Petit Larceny and Unlawful Mischief. Officer Penniman On 8/4/21 Brattleboro Police responded to Main St. for a theft report. The complaining party advised that they had observed a male in their vehicle, and were now missing belongings. The reporting party advised that they could see the male, as he was still in the area. Police questioned the male; Michael Twichell. Twichell was found to be in possession of the stolen items. When Twichell was advised that he was under arrest, he became disorderly, and yelled hate speech towards the victim. Twichell was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and released on a citation. Twichell will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 9/21/21 to answer his charge. Justine Lovig, 54, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 6/1/21 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched multiple times to an apartment complex on South St. Offices came in contact with Justine H Lovig a 54 year old female. Officer received complaints of harassment done by Lovig earlier in the day. Lovig was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and released. Approximately 2 hours later, officers went back to South St. and took a complainant that Lovig broke into an apartment and stole a cat. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Lovig for Burglary and Petit Larceny. Lovig was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where she was later released. Lovig is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 6/2/21 to answer to her charges. Brandon Wong, 27, of Bennington, VT
Officer Washburn On April 1, 2021 at approximately 10:41am Brattleboro Police Officers were dispatched to a theft complaint at a hotel on Canal st. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Brandon Wong age 27 of Bennington VT committed the offense of Petit Larceny. Wong was trespassed from the property and released on citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on May 25, 2021 at 8:00am. Misbah Abdul-Kareem, 35, of Wilmington, VT
Officer Penniman On 2/20/21 officers from the Brattleboro Police Department located Misbah Abdul-Kareem, a 35 year old male from Wilmington, at a business on Canal St. in Brattleboro. Kareem was placed under arrest due to violating his court ordered curfew, and due to the fact that the Brattleboro Police Department had several pending charges for Kareem. 21BB0913 – Occurred on 2/11/21. Violation of Conditions of Release and Petit Larceny. 21BB01029 – Occurred 2/15/21. Violation of Conditions of Release and Unlawful Trespass. 21BB01034 – Occurred 2/15/21. Violation of Conditions of Release and Unlawful Trespass. 21BB01041 – Occurred 2/16/21. Violation of Conditions of Release and Petit Larceny. 21BB01168 – Occurred 2/20/21. Violation of Conditions of Release. Kareem was held in lieu of bail. Kareem will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 2/22/21 to answer to the above charges, except for 21BB01041, which he will appear on 3/30/21 to answer for. Terri Carrington, 42, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Washburn On January 2, 2021 at approximately 8:02am Brattleboro Police Officers responded to a hotel on Putney rd. for a reported theft and assault that had taken place. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Terri Carrington age 42 of Brattleboro had committed the offenses of Simple Assault, Petit Larceny, and Violation of Conditions of release. Carrington was taken into custody and transported back to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Carrington was held on $200.00 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on January 4, 2021 at 12:30pm. Alan Stay, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Law On 11/4/2020 at approximately 0929 hours the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local motel for a report of a theft. The victim stated that Alan Stay stole his bicycle and later sold it. Upon further investigation it was found that Stay stole the bicycle and sold it to someone else. Stay was later issued a citation for petit larceny and is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 12/15/2020. Debra Bemis, 47, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Washburn On October 26, 2020 at approximately 3:27pm. Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a theft complaint at a residence on Putney rd. After an investigation it was determined that Debra Bemis age 47 of Brattleboro committed the offense of Petit Larceny. Bemis was later located and released on a citation. Bemis is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on Decemeber 1, 2020 at 8:00am. |
