Matthew Carr, 30, of Londonderry, VT Officer Abualjadail On 12/05/21, the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop at a business on Canal St. Investigation revealed that Felicia Woodruff was operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license. Police discoverd 1.61 g of suspected crack-cocaine and 0.406 g of suspected fentanyl inside the vehicle. Woodruff was charged with possession, driving with a suspended license, and a violation of conditions. Her passenger, Matthew Carr, was charged with possession. Both subjects were cited and ordered to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 1/4/21 to answer for their charges. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.

Christopher Baxter, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 11/20/21 in the early morning hours, Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Western Ave. for a registration violation. One of the passengers, Christopher A. Baxter, was found to be in violation of his Court Ordered Curfew. Furthermore, Baxter was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of crack cocaine. Baxter was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was lodged in lieu of bail. Baxter was able to post bail, and was released on a citation. Baxter will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/23/21 to answer his charges. Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court. Sara Moses, 40, of Vernon, VT
Officer Penniman On 11/18/21 at approximately 2130 hrs Brattleboro Police contacted Sara Moses inside of a vehicle on Maple St. Moses was found to be in violation of her 24 Court Ordered curfew. Probable cause of drug activity was developed, and a search of Moses’ car was commenced. A misdemeanor amount of crack cocaine was located in the vehicle. Moses was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on a citation. Moses will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/23/21 to answer her charges. Officer Penniman On 9/18/21 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for suspicion that the oprator had a suspended license. Investigation revealed that the passenger, Karen S. Miner, had a warrant out of VT and out of NH. Further investigation also revealed that Miner was in possession of a misdemeanor amount of Fentanyl and Crack Cocaine. Miner was taken into custody and lodged due to the NH warrant. Miner was issued a citation for the Possession charge, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/2/21 to answer the Possession charges. Jennifer Peduzzi, 51, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Carbone On August 1, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to South Main Street for a reported intoxicated female. Subsequent investigation led Officers to develop probable cause that the female, Jennifer Peduzzi, was in possession of illegal drugs. A search warrant was drafted and approved by the court. Execution of the warrant found Fentanyl and Cocaine in Peduzzi’s possession. Peduzzi was issued a citation and is to appear in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on October 5, 2021, to answer to the charge. John Mudge, 42, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cunningham On April 01, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Vernon Street, in the town of Brattleboro, for defective equipment, failure to maintain lane, and failure to signal. The operator of the vehicle was identified as John D. Mudge Jr., a 42 year old male from Brattleboro, VT. Subsequent investigation revealed Mudge’s driver’s license was criminally suspended in Vermont, he was violating conditions of release by operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and he was in possession of cocaine and prescription medication that was not his. Mudge was given a new set of conditions of release, cited and released. Mudge will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on April 02, 2021 to answer for the charges. Jeremiah Ahearn, 25, of West Springfield, MA
Officer Cooke On March 18, 2021 at approximately 11:31 PM the Brattleboro Police Department was dispatched to a motel on Putney Rd for a report of a gun being fired in a room and a bullet had gone through a wall into an adjacent, occupied room. There were no injuries. Within minutes several officers were on scene investigating. Following an investigation probable cause was developed and Jeremiah Ahearn, 25, of W. Springfield, MA was arrested without incident. A search warrant was executed on Ahearn’s room which is where the shot had originated. As a result of the warrant officers located a firearm, a large amount of Fentanyl and a large amount of cocaine. Ahearn was charged with Reckless Endangerment, Trafficking Fentanyl, and Possession of Cocaine. Ahearn was held in lieu of $50,000 bail. Ahearn appeared at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on March 19, 2021 to answer to the charges. Christopher Baxter, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
Ofc Llewelyn On 1/9/21 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a suspicious report at a business on Marlboro Rd. Officer arrived and found Christopher Baxter a 31 year old male sleeping in his vehicle in the business parking lot. The Officers did further investigation which led to them seizing a bag of cocaine that was inside of the vehicle. Baxter was arrested and released on a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 2/16/21. Steven Hull, 52, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Lockerby On November 22, 2020 at approximately 1644 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a parking lot on Marlboro Road for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. The person and vehicle were located and the owner and operator was identified as Steven C. Hull. Subsequent investigation revealed that Hull was in possession of 164 bags of fentanyl and was also in possession of cocaine. It was also discovered that Hull had been driving under the influence of drugs. Hull was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted and photographed. He was issued a citation and released, and is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on December 15, 2020 to face the charges. Matthew Gould, 58, of Enfield, CT
Officer Penniman On 11/8/20 Brattleboro Police conducted a traffic stop due to several motor vehicle violations. During the duration of the stop, the passenger, Tiffany Scadding, a 35 Year Old Female from Brattleboro was arrested for a VT warrant. Probable cause was developed, and a search of the operator, Matthew Gould, a 58 year old male from Enfield, CT, along with the vehicle, was conducted. Gould was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of Crack Cocaine. Gould was issued a citation for possession, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/15/20 to answer his charge. |
