Christopher Baxter, 31, of Brattleboro, VT
Det. Kerylow On 12/31/2020 at approximately 0400 hours Brattleboro Police arrested Christopher A. Baxter on an active Vermont arrest warrant. During a search of his person incident to arrest, Baxter was found to be in possession of suspected Fentanyl. Baxter was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted, photographed and lodged in lieu of $1,000 cash bail for the arrest warrant. Baxter will appear in court today, 12/31/2020, for the warrant and was issued a citation to appear in court on 02/02/2021 for the Possession of Fentanyl charge.

Christopher Timmons, 25, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 12/19/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department and Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Upper Forest St. Upon arrival Officers saw many neighbors in the street and a victim needed help at a nearby home. The victim said Christopher Timmons was inside the home, is high on drugs, and is bleeding from an injury that was self-inflicted. Officers located Timmons in the residence and needed to use force to get him to become compliant. Timmons was taken to BMH where he was treated for non-life-threatening wounds. The victim in the case did not require medical attention. Timmons was later issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 1/26/2021 to answer to the charges of DC, Resisting arrest, Simple Assault and Possession of LSD. Timmons was then released. Brian Short, 50, Brattleboro, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 12/14/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Marlboro Ave. Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop for a moving violation on Marlboro Rd. Officers identified the operator of the vehicle to be Brian Short a 50 year old male. Subsequent investigation showed Short was operating on a criminally suspended license. During a search of the vehicle Officers located Heroin, Crack Cocaine, and prescription pills. Short was arrested and the drugs were seized. Short was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged and later released on conditions and a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to his charges. Cara Rodriques, 30, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 11/28/20 Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle leaving a business on Canal St. Police recognized this vehicle as one registered to Cara L. Rodrigues, a 30 Year Old Female from Brattleboro. Several equipment violations were also observed. Police contacted Rodrigues in the adjacent parking lot, and placed her under arrest for Criminal DLS, as her license in Vermont is criminally suspended. Probable cause of drug activity was developed during this investigation. A search of Rodrigues’ belongings was done, and Rodrigues was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of Fentanyl. Rodrigues was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on a citation. Rodrigues will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/12/21 to answer her charges. Steven Hull, 52, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Lockerby On November 22, 2020 at approximately 1644 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a parking lot on Marlboro Road for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. The person and vehicle were located and the owner and operator was identified as Steven C. Hull. Subsequent investigation revealed that Hull was in possession of 164 bags of fentanyl and was also in possession of cocaine. It was also discovered that Hull had been driving under the influence of drugs. Hull was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted and photographed. He was issued a citation and released, and is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on December 15, 2020 to face the charges. Amber Harmon, 38, of Springfield, VT
Officer Cunningham On October 18, 2020, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department, located a female who had a warrant for her arrest, at a residence on Green Street. Subsequent investigation revealed that Amber Harmon, a 38-year-old female, had 5 bags of fentanyl and less than a gram of cocaine in her possession. Harmon also had conditions of release not to have regulated drugs on her person without a prescription. Harmon was cited and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/27/2020 to answer to the charges Tyson Hazelton, 41, of Vernon, VT
Officer Cunningham On October 14, 2020, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department, while conducting a search incident to arrest of a suspect, found illegal drugs on their person. Subsequent investigation revealed that Tyson Hazelton, a 41-year-old male, had .3 grams of crack cocaine in his possession while at a parking lot on Canal Street. Hazelton was cited and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 11/24/2020 to answer to the charge. Amber Harmon, 38, Of NH
Officer Penniman On 9/24/20 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle due to equipment violations. During the stop, probable cause was developed that certain drug laws were currently being violated. The passenger, Amber J. Harmon, a 38 year old female from NH, was found to be in possession of misdemeanor amounts of fentanyl and crack cocaine. During the interaction, Harmon lied about her identity. Harmon was taken into custody, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was lodged, and held on $200 bail. Harmon will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 9/25/20 to answer her charge. Susan Yeates, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Cable On 8/21/2020 at approximately 11:30 PM Brattleboro Police stopped a vehicle on Birge Street in Brattleboro. The vehicle was subsequently seized for the application of a search warrant. Brattleboro Police executed a search warrant on the vehicle on 8/24/2020 and located suspected Fentanyl. The passenger of the vehicle, Susan Yeates, was later located and arrested on 9/17/2020. Yeates was released on court ordered conditions and to appear in court on 9/18/2020 to answer to the charge of Fentanyl Trafficking. Patrick Devens, 57, of Brattleboro, VT
Rodney Lumbra, 59, of Brattleboro, VT Officer Lockerby On 9/14/2020 at approximately 1616 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a location on Bridge Street for a report of drug activity. Officers located the subjects and identified them as Rodney A. Lumbra and Patrick J. Devens. Further investigation revealed that Lumbra was in possession of Fentanyl, and that both Devens and Lumbra were violating their court ordered conditions. Lumbra was issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/27/2020 to answer to the charges. Devens was placed under arrest and was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was temporarily lodged. Devens was issued conditions of release and a flash citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 9/15/2020 to face the charge. |
