Elise Nuccio, 26, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/26/20 Brattleboro Police located Elise M. Nuccio on Canal St. in Brattleboro. Police arrested Nuccio for incident 20BB02040 for Aggravated Operating a Vehicle without Owners Consent.
On Nuccio’s person Police located suspencted Fentanyl, weighing 4.3g with packaging.
Nuccio was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and issued citations for the following incidents:
20BB02116: Poss. Of Fentanyl
20BB02040: Operating without Owners Consent
20BB01344: Retail Theft
20BB02022: Simple Assault.
Nuccio was released with citations for the above offenses, and will appear in court on 6/16/20 to answer the above charges.
Craig Roys, 48, of Brattleboro, VT
Debra Bemis, 46, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/22/2020 at approximately 1624 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on foot patrol on Canal Street when they observed suspicious activity.
Officers approached the subjects and identified them as Craig M. Roys and Debra M. Bemis. Further investigation revealed that Roys was in possession of Fentanyl and Bemis was in Possession of a regulated drug which she did not have a prescription for.
Roys was issued a citation for Possession of Fentanyl, and released. Bemis was issued a citation for Possession of a Depressant, Stimulant, and Narcotic Drug, and released. Roys and Bemis are scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on May 26, 2020 to face the charges.
Reginald Dessasure, 25, of Brattleboro, VT
On December 31, 2019 at approximately 09:40 hours members of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Canal St. for Defective Equipment.
Officers were able to identify the passenger of the vehicle as Reginald Dessasure age 25 of Brattleboro, who had two outstanding Vermont Arrest warrants. Dessasure was placed under arrest for the warrants. A search incident to arrest revealed that Dessasure was in possession of an unperscribed narcotic.
Dessasure was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted and photographed. Dessasure was issued a citation for possession of a narcotic. Dessasure is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 02/11/2020 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge.
Brianna Butler, 22, of Brattleboro, VT
On 12/5/19 Brattleboro Police made contact with a suspicious vehicle at a closed business on Canal St.
Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Brianna Butler, a 22 year old female, due to an extraditable warrant out of MA. Furthermore, probable cause was developed that Butler possessed narcotics in her purse.
A search warrant for her purse was applied for and granted. The subsequent search of her purse revealed fentanyl.
Butler was issued a citation for the offense. Butler will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/28/20 to answer her charge.
Jeremy Snyder, 31, of Chester, VT
On 12/1/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Putney Rd.
Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of the operator, Jeremy Snyder, a 31 Year Old Male from Chester, VT for possession of fentanyl (misdemeanor).
Snyder was issued a citation, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/7/20 to answer his charge.
Christopher Akey, 37, of Brattleboro, VT
On 9/12/19 at approximately 1508 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Cottage St. to assist another agency with a compliance check.
Upon searching Akey’s residence it was found that he was in possession of heroin, crack cocaine, and multiple prescription pills that he did not have a prescription for. Akey was also in possession of a stolen iPad.
Akey was issued a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 10/29/19 at 0800 hours to face the charge.
Quinton Gordon, 34, of New York
Erica Nunez, 18, of New Jersey
On 8/1/19 Brattleboro Police observed Quinton Gordon, a 34 Year Old Male from New York. Officers knew Gordon to have an active warrant for his arrest, and made contact.
Once advised that he was under arrest, Gordon assaulted officers, and resisted arrest. His companion, Erica Nunez, an 18 year old female from New Jersey, assaulted police in an attempt to hinder Gordon’s arrest.
Both were placed under arrest.
Gordon: Resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, possession of a stimulant, possession of cocaine, and possession of heroin.
Nunez: Resisting arrest, impeding a police officer, disorderly conduct, assault on a law enforcement officer.
Both were transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There, both were issued conditions of release, and ordered held on bail. Gordon was held in lieu of $5,000, and Nunez was held in lieu of $2,000.
Both will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/1/19
Melissa Martin, 40, of Elmore , VT
Michael Schafer, 56, of Woodbury, VT
On 4/19/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for a traffic violation on a vehicle leaving a residence on Central St. This residence is well known to police for narcotic activity.
A search of a vehicle revealed that both Melissa Martin, a 40 year old female from Elmore, VT, and Michael Schafer, a 56 year old male from Woodbury, VT were in possession of prescription medication that they did not have prescriptions for.
Both were issued citations for the offense, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/28/19 to answer the charges.
Heidi Heger, 46, of Jamaica, VT
On 3/15/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for a moving violation.
The operator, Heidi Heger, a 46 year old female from Brattleboro, was found to be in possession of Suboxone without a prescription.
Heger was issued a citation, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/28/19.

Cornelia Rivera, 50, of Brattleboro VT
On December 28, 2018 Brattleboro Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Oak Street after receiving a complaint of an assault that took place on December 25, 2018. It was reported the female victim was forced to fight another person while a male, identified as Chyquan Cupe was threatening her and the person she had to fight with a gun.
During the search warrant police recovered multiple guns from the residence. Also found was approximately 220 grams of crack and crack cocaine and several unprescribed drugs to include oxycodone, morphine and amphetamine.
At the time Cupe was not at the residence and a warrant has been requested for his arrest for the charges of: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled or regulated drug and contempt of court.
Two subjects were arrested at the time of the search warrant:
Peter James for possession of crack cocaine
Cornelia Rivera for possession of heroin
Both were issued citations to appear in court on February 5, 2019.
