Trent Johnson,30, of Brattleboro, VT
On 3/8/20 Brattleboro Police were conducting a foot patrol in the Transportation Center on Flat St.
Brattleboro Police observed a group of people acting in a manner consistent with drug usage and distribution.
Police detained the group, and probable cause was developed. Trent Johnson, a 30 year old male from Brattleboro, declined a search of his person on scene. Johnson was detained, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department.
There, a warrant was drafted, submitted, and approved to search his person and belongings.
Johnson was found to be in possession of misdemeanor amount of crack cocaine. Johnson was processed, and subsequently released on a citation for possession of crack cocaine.
Johnson will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/14/20 to answer his charge.
Anthony Rivera, 49, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/11/2019 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department where on directed foot patrol on Flat St. when they came across Anthony M. Rivera. Rivera had his back to the Officer when they came in contact with each other. When Rivera faced the Officer, Rivera was holding a small bag of suspected crack cocaine. Rivera admitted to the substance being crack cocaine. Rivera was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was fingerprinted and photographed. Rivera will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/26/2019 to answer to his charge.
Kenneth Craig, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
On July 20 2019 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on foot patrol on Canal Street when they came across Kenneth Craig smoking crack cocaine. Subsequent investigation revealed that Craig was in possession of cocaine. Craig was issued with a citation, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on August 27 to face the charge.
Moffitt, Deven D., 29 of Brattleboro, VT
On June 6, 2019 at approximately 1444 hours, Brattleboro Police approached Moffitt on Elliot Street regarding an unrelated matter. Prior to Moffitt being taken into custody, Officers saw him drop an item over the fence. The item was recovered and found to contain crack cocaine and prescription medication.
Moffitt was arrested and issued a citation to appear in court on 6/7/19.
James Nestor, 52, of Wardsboro, VT
On 5/5/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle due to an equipment violation.
The operator, James D. Nestor, a 52 year old male from Wardsboro, VT was found to have a criminally suspended license.
Nestor was also found in possession of Heroin, Crack Cocaine, and Fireworks.
Nestor was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and released on a citation.
Nestor will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 6/18/19 to answer his charges.
Shannon Mylott, 21, of Brattleboro, VT
On 2/19/19 in the early morning hours Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle leaving a well known residence on Oak St. This residence is well known to police due to drug activity stemming from it.
Police conducted a motor vehicle stop. A search of the vehicle revealed narcotics, leading to the arrest of Shannon T. Mylott, a 21 year old female from Brattleboro. Mylott was found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine.
Mylott was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where she was processed, and released on a citation. Mylott will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/30/19 to answer her charges.
Theresa Gay, 43, of Guilford, VT
On 12/15/18 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for equipment violations on I91 S.
The passenger, Theresa M. Gay, a 43 year old female from Guilford, VT, was found to have an active arrest warrant out of VT.
Gay was placed under arrest, and while being searched, was found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine.
Gay was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and lodged in lieu of bail.
Gay was issued a citation for the possession charge. Gay will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/22/18 to answer her charge.

Chyquan Cupe, 21, of Hartford, CT
On 10/25/2018 at approx. 1800 hrs, Brattleboro Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Canal Street which did not have its lights on. The operator jumped out of the vehicle without putting it into park and ran from Officers jumping over a fence into neighboring yards. Multiple Brattleboro units and Vermont State Police arrived on scene. A perimeter was set up and a search for the suspect was conducted. The suspect was never found. On 10/31/2018 at approximately 1830 hrs, a Brattleboro Officer on patrol, observed the suspect in the same general location and made contact with him. The suspect again attempted to run. Force was used to control the suspect. He was placed under arrest and was found to be in possession of cocaine. While handcuffed, the suspect attempted to escape. He was identified as Chyquan M Cupe 21, from Hartford CT. Cupe was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and ordered held on $2500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 10/30/2018 to answer to the charges.
Bibens, Michelle M., 46, of Brattleboro
On September 17 2018 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on foot patrol downtown when they observed suspicious activity in a public building on Flat St. Subsequent investigation revealed that Michelle Bibens was in possession of crack cocaine and other drugs regulated by the state of Vermont, and was trespassing. Bibens was issued a citation and released, and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on October 23 to face the charges.
Gonyea, Matthew T., 32
On 5/3/18 Brattleboro Officers responded to a residence on Canal St. in an attempt to locate a wanted subject. On arrival, officers searched the residence and located crack cocaine. Matthew Gonyea was arrested for Possession of Cocaine. Gonyea will appear in court on 5/4/18 to face the charge.
