Nathan Hazlett, 47, of Brattleboro, VT
On June 18, 2020 Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department located Nathan Hazlett age 47 of Brattleboro, walking down Elliot St. which was in violation of his court ordered conditions of release. During the investigation it was learned that Hazlett was in possession of heroin. Hazlett was taken into custody and transported back to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Hazelett was released and issued a citation to appear in the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on August 11, 2020 at 8:00am.
Rodney Lumbra, 59, of Brattleboro, VT
On 7/8/20 Brattleboro Police were made aware of an active physical altercation taking place at a grocery store on Canal St. Police were already in the area, and were able to be on scene immediately.
Investigation revealed that Rodney Lumbra, a 59 year old male, got into a physical altercation with another individual.
Lumbra was placed under arrest for the assault, and found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of heroin.
Lumbra was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and releaed on a citation for Simple Assault and Possession of Heroin. Lumbra will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/18/20 to answer his charges.
Patrick Devens, 57, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/30/20, Brattleboro Police arrested Patrick J. Devens, a 57 year old male from Brattleboro, on an extraditable warrant out of New Hampshire.
Devens, after being placed under arrest for the warrant, was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of heroin.
Devens was issued a citation for possession of heroin, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 8/18/20 to answer his charge.
Richard Gilbert, 51, of Brattleboro, VT
On 6/4/2020 at approximately 8:04 PM Brattleboro Police were conducting an investigation into an aggravated assault at a residence on Winding Hill Road. During that investigation police discovered that Richard Gilbert had been in possession of heroin. Gilbert was issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court on 8/11/2020 to answer to the charge of Possession of Heroin.
Nathan Hazlett, 47, of Brattleboro, VT
On June 15 2020 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were granted a search warrant for a residence on Elliot Street based on evidence of drug sales and use inside. At approximately 2000 hours that evening the search warrant was executed, and Nathan E. Hazlett was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and heroin.
Hazlett was held in lieu of bail and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court: Windham County Criminal Division on June 16 at 1230 hours to face the charges.

On 10/23/19 Brattleboro Police were on active foot patrol on Canal St. Police observed Rodney Lumbra, a 58 year old male from Brattleboro, partaking in activity consistent with drug sales.
Investigation revealed that Lumbra was in possession of heroin and crack cocaine. Lumbra was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and released on a citation.
Lumbra will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/3/19 to answer his charges.
Brandy R. Rockwell, 35, of Brattleboro, VT
Craig M. Roys, 48, of Brattleboro, VT
On October 25, 2019 a member of the Brattleboro Police Department was on bicycle patrol in the downtown business district when they observed two individuals walk behind a building on Flat St. Investigation led to the arrest of Brandy Rockwell, 35, and Craig Roys, 48, both of Brattleboro for Possession of Fentanyl. Roys and Rockwell were cited to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on December 3, 2019 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge.
Courtney Lafayette, 26, of Brattleboro, VT
On October 12, 2019, at approximately 1750 hours, while on patrol on Elliot Street, in the town of Brattleboro, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department located a female with an active arrest warrant. Subsequent investigation revealed that Courtney T. Lafayette, a 26 year old female, had heroin in her possession. Lafayette was cited and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 11/26/2019 to answer to the charge.
Tamsyn Maskell, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
On 9/26/19 Brattleboro Police were conducing a foot patrol in the area under the Elm St. Bridge.
While on patrol, they observed a female displaying indicators of drug usage.
Investigation revealed that Tamsyn Maskell, a 44 year old female, was in possession of herion.
Maskell was issued a citation for 11/5/19 for possession of heroin, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on that date to answer her charge.
Shenandoah Gilbert, 43, of Vernon, VT
On 9/21/19, Brattleboro Police observed a vehicle parked in a lot on Canal St. This lot is known to Police for high criminal activity.
Police made contact with the operator of the vehicle, Shenandoah Gilbert, a 43 year old female from Vernon, VT.
Investigation revealed that Gilbert was in possession of heroin. Gilbert was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on a citation.
Gilbert will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 10/29/19 to answer her charge.
