James Crocker, 38, of Brattleboro, VT
On 5/31/21 Brattleboro Police conducted motor vehicle stop due to a equipment violation on I91N in the area of exit 3. The operator, James Crocker, was found to have several Vermont arrest warrants.
Probable cause of further criminal activity was developed, and a search of the vehicle was conducted. In the vehicle officers located a misdemeanor amount of crack cocaine. They also located several suspicious power tools.
Further investigation, with the collaboration of the Hinsdale, NH Police, showed that the tools had been recently stolen from a store in Hinsdale NH.
Crocker was issued a citation for Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Crack Cocaine. Crocker will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/6/21 to answer his charge.

Buck Mitchell, 29, Brattleboro, VT
On February 06, 2021 at approximately 0956 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were investigating a theft from a motor vehicle from a business on Putney Road. Subsequent investigation revealed Buck Mitchell violated his conditions of release by being out during his designated curfew hours.
On February 27, 2021 at approximately 0908 hours, Officer of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a welfare check on Mitchell. While responding to the welfare check, the officers were informed Mitchell may have in his possession stolen items from Chesterfield, New Hampshire. Subsequent investigation revealed Mitchell again violated his conditions of release by leaving Windham County, was in possession of stolen items, and stolen prescription medication. Mitchell was arrested and will appear in Windham County Superior Court on March 01, 2021 to answer to the charges
Amber Harmon, 38, of Springfield, VT
On October 16, 2020, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Maple Street for an unrelated incident. Subsequent investigation revealed Amber Harmon was in possession of a stolen Vermont Driver’s License and giving a false name to the police. Harmon then fled the scene and was later located and arrested. Harmon was issued a citation for Receiving Stolen Property and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on October 27, 2020 to answer for the charge.
