Bethune, Bobby, -19-Brattleboro, VT
On February 4, 2019 at approximately 2:53PM Brattleboro police recovered a stolen vehicle on Green St. in Brattleboro. The operator was identified as Bobby Bethune (DOB: 03/07/2000). Bethune was also found to be in violation of court ordered conditions of release as he was operating a vehicle. Bethune was arrested for criminal contempt, possession of stolen property, aggravated operation without consent of owner. Bethune was later released and is due to appear in Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on May 14, 2019.

Murray, Qadir, N. 36 year old male from Brattleboro
On 09/30/2018 Brattleboro Police responded to a business parking lot on Canal Street for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle.
Police met with a female victim who advised while she was shopping inside the business, her credit cards along with other personal documents were stolen from her vehicle. Police also met with an employee from a neighboring business who witnessed the theft from the motor vehicle and provided a description of the male.
Through video surveillance police were able to positively identify the male as Qadir N. Murray. Murray was also seen on video surveillance at another business using the female victims credit card.
Murray was located at a later date and was issued a citation to appear in court on 12/18/2018.
Tiffany Palmer – 23 - Brattleboro
On September 13, 2018 Brattleboro Police received a report from a business on Main Street in reference to one of their employees using a stolen credit card to make fraudulent charges and also stealing money from the cash register. After an investigation took place police arrested Tiffany Palmer. Palmer was released on a citation to appear in court on October 23, 2018.
Cyr Solari, 18, of Guilford, VT
Taylor Bell, 18, of Brattleboro, VT
On August 1, 2018 Brattleboro Police responded to the area of High St for the report of two males going through cars. Cyr Solari (7/28/00) and Taylor Bell (11/21/99) were located on Western Avenue and matched the description given of the two males. Through investigation it was determined Solari and Bell had entered multiple vehicles in the area and taken items from the vehicles. Solari and Bell were still in possession of these items. Solari and Bell were issued citations ordering them to appear at the Windham County Superior Courthouse on 9/11/18 to answer to the charges.
Rhodes, Holly age 29 of Brattleboro
Branch, Shane age 38 of New Hampshire
On 05/11/18, Brattleboro Police took a report of a Burgarly at a residence in West Brattleboro. On 05/12/18 Brattleboro Police responded to a dispute. During the investigation police recovered property that was reported stolen from the previous days burglary.
Police seized a motor vehicle, obtained a search warrant, and located more stolen property from the prior days burglary.
Holly Rhodes and Shane Branch were both charged with Possession of Stolen Property. Rhodes was also charged with Uttering Forged or Counterfeited Instrument.
Possession of Stolen Property and Sale of Crack Cocaine
On 4/03/2018 Brattleboro Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind a Canal Street Business and attempted to make contact. The vehicle drove off and Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Bobby Bethune 18, of Newark New Jersey for Possession of Stolen Property and Possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 5/15/2018 to answer to the charges.
Walter Swift, 57, of Brattleboro, VT
On 03/23/2018 Walter Swift was found to be in violation of his active Conditions of Release by violating a 24 hour curfew. Swift was also found to be in possession of stolen property.
Swift was released on Conditions of Release and a citation to appear in court on 04/03/2018.
