Officer Llewelyn On 12/19/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department and Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Upper Forest St. Upon arrival Officers saw many neighbors in the street and a victim needed help at a nearby home. The victim said Christopher Timmons was inside the home, is high on drugs, and is bleeding from an injury that was self-inflicted. Officers located Timmons in the residence and needed to use force to get him to become compliant. Timmons was taken to BMH where he was treated for non-life-threatening wounds. The victim in the case did not require medical attention. Timmons was later issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 1/26/2021 to answer to the charges of DC, Resisting arrest, Simple Assault and Possession of LSD. Timmons was then released.

Kevin Dennehey, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Hamilton On December 7 2020 at approximately 0300 hours Kevin M. Dennehey, who had been given shelter in the lobby of the Brattleboro Police Department, went into the Police Only section of the parking lot. Dennehey refused to leave and became disorderly when instructed to by officers on duty. Dennehey was arrested for Unlawful Trespass and Disorderly Conduct, and was resistant with officers taking him into custody. Dennehey was held in lieu of bail, and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on December 7 at 1230 hours to face the charges of Unlawful Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest. Amirr Martin, 18, of New York, NY
Sgt. Cable On 11/1/2020 Brattleboro Police responded to Central Dispatch for a disorderly female subject, Amirr Martin, causing a disruption to emergency services dispatchers. Investigation revealed that Martin had also placed multiple phone calls over a short period of time to another person, causing a disruption to their work. Martin was ordered by police to leave but refused. Martin resisted being taken into custody and was subsequently held in lieu of $200 bail. Martin was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court on 11/2/2020 to answer to the charges of Disorderly Conduct, Disorderly Conduct by Electronic Means, Unlawful Trespass and Resisting Arrest. Jayshiem Daniels, 38, of NY
William Emanuel, 52, of NY Officer Penniman On 10/11/20 Brattleboro Police began a drug investigation at a hotel on Canal St. During the investigation, Jayshiem Daniels, a 38 year old male from NY was arrested for impeding public officers, and subsequently arrested for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. A search of the room was conducted, and both Daniels and William Emanuel, a 52 year old male from NY were arrested for drug offenses. Emanuel will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/24/20 to answer his possession of cocaine and narcotics charges, and Daniels will appear in court on 10/12/20 to answer to the charges of Impeding public officers, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, contempt of court, possession of cocaine and possession of narcotics. Officer Flecther On 9/28/20 at approximately 11:03 AM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local business for a report of a disorderly male subject. Upon arrival Officers were advised the male subject had left the business in an unknown direction. Staff reported the male had been disorderly and rude, he had previously been asked to leave. He had left and returned to the business several times. The store did provided an image of the subject from their security footage. While searching the surrounding area around the store he was witnessed returning. He was located at a counter amongst several other customers and officers asked him several times to step aside so they could talk. The male, later identified as Alexander J. Klein, refused to step away from the counter. After attempting to escourt Klein away from the counter he became combative, actively attempting to free himself from the officer’s grasp. He was notified on more than one occasion that he was under arrest. Eventually Klein was subdued and taken into custody for trespassing, Disorderly conduct and Resisting arrest. He was transported to the Brattleboro Police station where he was later released on conditions and a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 9/28/2020 at 12:30 PM. Sean Wall, 46, of Hinsdale, NH
Officer Penniman On 7/17/20, Brattleboro Police were on patrol when they came upon an active physical fight taking place on Canal St. Police intervened, and Sean Wall, a 46 year old male from Hinsdale, NH fled the scene. Investigation revealed that Wall was the aggressor in the altercation. A brief search took place in the downtown area, and Wall was eventually located and taken into custody. Wall was found to be in possession of a misdemeanor amount of heroin / fentanyl. Wall was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and released on court ordered conditions of release. Wall will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/20/20 to answer his charges. There were no injuries. Walter Swift, 59, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Stanley On 7/10/2020 at approximately 1pm the Brattleboro Police Department located Walter Swift, 59 y/o of Brattleboro in the Preston Lot in downtown. Swift had an active warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. During a search incident to his arrest Swift began to resist and attempt to conceal illegal narcotics in his possession. Swift was later charged with resisting arrest and possession of cocaine. Swift was issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court; Criminal Division on 8/18/20 at 8am. Swift was held and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility for the active warrant. Jeremy Bertolini, 33, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Carbone On July 1, 2020, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence in the Mountain Home Trailer Park for a reported Domestic Assault. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Jeremy M. Bertolini, a 33 year old male from Brattleboro, for Aggravated Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest. Bertolini was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing and held on conditions and bail. Bertolini is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on July 2, 2020, to answer to the charge. Justin Clough, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 6/27/20 Brattleboro Police responded to the Brattleboro Retreat for a trespassing complaint. Police made contact with the subject, who was identified as Justin E. Clough, a 40 year old male from Brattleboro. Clough had been previously trespassed from the Brattleboro Retreat for planting a fake bomb on the premises. Police attempted to place Clough under arrest, who decided to run to avoid arrest. Clough disrupted the flow of traffic while running, and shouted vulgarities within earshot of those out in the public. Clough continued to physically resist officers as they attempted to place him into custody. Clough was placed into custody, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and issued court ordered conditions of release. Bail imposed, and Clough was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility. Clough will be arraigned on 6/29/20 via internet arraignment. Jonathan Palmisano, 25, of Brattleboro, VT Officer Penniman On 6/19/2020 at approximately 5:08 PM Brattleboro Police, Brattleboro Fire and Rescue Inc responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries on Maple Street. The roadway was closed to traffic during the investigation of this crash. At approximately 5:31 PM while the scene was still occupied by emergency services, witnesses and those involved a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed drove through the scene. The vehicle nearly collided with emergency vehicles and several emergency workers and witnesses on scene. The vehicle crashed on Maple Street a short time later and the operator fled the scene on foot. At approximately 7:22 PM the operator, identified as Jonathan Palmisano, was later located and apprehended near Western Avenue and Guilford Street by Brattleboro Police and Vermont State Police including Vermont State Police K9. Palmisano was held in lieu of $10,000 bail and ordered to appear in court on 6/22/20 to answer to the charges of Gross Negligent Operation, Aggravated Assault (6 counts), Resisting Arrest and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Palmisano was also issued several tickets for civil vehicle operation violations. |
