Micael Bizuneh, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Law On 10/31/21 Brattleboro Police responded to a report of a physical fight at an Inn on Putney Rd. Upon arrival and after investigation, it was determined that Micael S. Bizuneh had vandalized numerous vehicles in the parking lot, and had engaged in fighting behavior with an individual who owned one of the vehicles. Police attempted to place Bizuneh under arrest. Bizuneh resisted, and assaulted responding officers, causing serious, non life threatening injuries. Bizuneh punched, kicked, and threw the officer to the ground. Bizuneh was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There, he assaulted officers by spitting on them, actively resisting, and striking out on Officers. Bizuneh was ordered held on bail, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/1/21 to answer his charges.

Dylan Chambers, 24, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Law On 8/28/21 at approximately 1445 hours the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a restaurant on Putney Rd. for a 911 call about a male attempting to assault two females and was destroying their vehicle. There was several separate 911 calls regarding this incident as well. Upon arrival Dylan Chambers was holding a metal pole and was acting in an aggressive manner. Chambers continued to act irrational and was yelling and screaming and would not put the pole down. Chambers threw the pole into the front windshield of the vehicle. Chambers was eventually arrested by the Brattleboro Police and transported to the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Chambers was later transported to the Brattleboro Police where he was held on conditions and without bail. No other parties were injured during this incident. Chambers was charged with 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic, Aggravated Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Mischief and Resisting Arrest. Chambers will appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 8/30/21. Janna Jarvis, 45, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Carbone On August 28, 2021, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on South Main Street for a reported family fight. Subsequent investigation found that Janna R Jarvis had assaulted her partner. Jarvis was placed under arrest for 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault. While Jarvis was being taken into custody, she became aggressive and assaultive towards the Officers. Due to her behavior, Jarvis will also face charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault on Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Jarvis was ordered to be held without bail, and was arrainged on her charges on August 30, 2021, at the Windham County Superior Court. Jennifer Peduzzi, 51, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Carbone On August 1, 2021, Officers for the Brattleboro Police Department responded to South Main Street for a report of an intoxicated female stumbling into traffic. Upon arrival Officers learned that the female in question, Jennifer Peduzzi, had an active arrest warrant and had provided a false name to Officers. When attempting to place Peduzzi under arrest for the warrant, Peduzzi actively resisted the Officers. Peduzzi will face Resisting Arrest and False Report charges on September 7, 2021, in the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division. Jake Tarpley, 32, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cooke On August 20, 2021 at approximately 1857 hours officer’s were dispatched to a physical altercation occurring in a restaurant parking lot on Putney Rd. Upon arrival officer’s learned that a subject, later identified as Jake Tarpley, 32, of Brattleboro, had engaged in a fight with a subject in the parking lot then fled. At approximately 2210 hours, Tarpley was located on Clark Ave. During that interaction Tarpley fled on foot and resisted arrest. Ultimately, Tarpley was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was lodged. The court was contacted and they ordered conditions of release and ordered Tarpley be held on $200 bail. Tarpley will appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on August 23, 2021 at 1230 hours. Justine Lovig, 54, of Maine
Officer Penniman On 5/20/21 Brattleboro Police responded to a hotel on Putney Rd. for a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival Police spoke with the trespasser, who was later identified as Justine Lovig. Lovig continuously refused to leave the property, and refused to identify herself. Lovig then fled in her car after being told she was not free to do so. Officers later located Lovig in her hotel room in West Brattleboro. Lovig was advised she was under arrest. Lovig shut her door, and refused to allow officers to take her into custody. Officers left the scene in order to write up an arrest warrant. Prior to the arrest warrant being written up, Officers were called back to the hotel due to Lovig harassing other patrons. Lovig was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There she was processed, and released on a citation. Lovig will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 7/6/21 to answer the charges of Attempt To Elude, Resisting Arrest, and Unlawful Trespass. Christopher Timmons, 25, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 12/19/2020 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department and Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Upper Forest St. Upon arrival Officers saw many neighbors in the street and a victim needed help at a nearby home. The victim said Christopher Timmons was inside the home, is high on drugs, and is bleeding from an injury that was self-inflicted. Officers located Timmons in the residence and needed to use force to get him to become compliant. Timmons was taken to BMH where he was treated for non-life-threatening wounds. The victim in the case did not require medical attention. Timmons was later issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 1/26/2021 to answer to the charges of DC, Resisting arrest, Simple Assault and Possession of LSD. Timmons was then released. Kevin Dennehey, 56, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Hamilton On December 7 2020 at approximately 0300 hours Kevin M. Dennehey, who had been given shelter in the lobby of the Brattleboro Police Department, went into the Police Only section of the parking lot. Dennehey refused to leave and became disorderly when instructed to by officers on duty. Dennehey was arrested for Unlawful Trespass and Disorderly Conduct, and was resistant with officers taking him into custody. Dennehey was held in lieu of bail, and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County Criminal Division on December 7 at 1230 hours to face the charges of Unlawful Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest. Amirr Martin, 18, of New York, NY
Sgt. Cable On 11/1/2020 Brattleboro Police responded to Central Dispatch for a disorderly female subject, Amirr Martin, causing a disruption to emergency services dispatchers. Investigation revealed that Martin had also placed multiple phone calls over a short period of time to another person, causing a disruption to their work. Martin was ordered by police to leave but refused. Martin resisted being taken into custody and was subsequently held in lieu of $200 bail. Martin was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court on 11/2/2020 to answer to the charges of Disorderly Conduct, Disorderly Conduct by Electronic Means, Unlawful Trespass and Resisting Arrest. |
