Assault and Robbery, Retail Theft, Interference with Access to Emergency Services, Arrest on Warrant1/2/2021 Korbyn Bacon, 25, of Bellows Falls, VT
Officer Carbone On 12/28/2020 at approximately 4:40 AM Brattleboro Police were alerted to a robbery at a local Canal Street business. Responding officers were told that the suspect claimed to have a weapon and that he had fled on foot. A description of the suspect was given and a short time later officers were able to locate him at another nearby business. The suspect was identified as Korbyn Bacon and he was taken into custody without incident. A search ended in locating stolen items but no weapon. Investigation showed that Bacon intimidated a female victim before stealing items within her possession. The victim was not physically injured. Bacon was also found to have an active Vermont arrest warrant. The warrant was issued when Bacon absconded from corrections custody while on probation stemming from a prior conviction of Assault and Robbery. Bacon was held in lieu of bail and is scheduled to appear in court on 12/28/2020 to answer to the above charges.

Officer Fletcher On 12/23/20 at approximately 11:36 AM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a grocery store for a report of a shoplifting incident. The store employee who reported the incident advised the female shoplifter has since left the scene and provided a vehicle description and registration number. Officers made contact with the complainant who advised they had recovered the stolen merchandise. The store provided the security video of the incident and a receipt showing the value for the stolen items. The vehicle was located by a member of the Windham County Sheriff’s Department and the female was identified as Jodi L. Ecklund of Newfane VT. Ecklund was issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 1/26/2021 Elise Nuccio 2, of Bratleboro, VT
Officer Washburn On November 6, 2020 at approximately 10:45am. Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a business on Marlboro Rd. for a report of retail theft. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Elise Nuccio age 26 of Brattleboro had committed the offense of Retail theft on two separate occasions. Nuccio was later located and issued a citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on January 12, 2021 at 8:30am. Elise Nuccio, 26, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Cunningham On November 20, 2020 at approximately 2057 hours, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a business on Marlboro Road, for a report of theft. Subsequent investigation revealed Elise Nuccio stole over 77 dollars worth of merchandise from the store. Nuccio fled the scene and went to a business on Canal Street. Nuccio also violated her conditions of release and was trespassing when she went to the business on Canal Street that day. Nuccio was arrested and will appear in Windham County Superior Court on December 15, 2020 to answer to her charges. Justin Grover, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Fletcher On 10/24/20 at approximately 10:38 AM an Officer of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local business for a report of shoplifting. The complainant, a store employee advised Justin Grover had stolen an item from the business. Grover was later located and issued a citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 12/1/20. The stolen item was not recovered. Racquel Forget, 52, of Whitingham, VT
Sgt. Stanley On 10/15/2020 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Putney Rd for a report of a theft. The subject was located on the property and identified as Racquel Forget of Whitingham. Forget was subsequently issued a no trespass order for the property and cited to appear in Windham County Superior Court;Criminal Division on 11/24/20 to answer to the offense of retail theft. Brenda Graves, 37, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 10/4/20 Brattleboro Police responded to a grocery store on Canal St. for a report of a shoplifter. Investigation revealed that Brenda C. Graves, a 37 year old female from Brattleboro, concealed items within the store, and passed all points of sale. Graves was then verbally and physically menacing towards the asset protection manager. Graves was located, and issued a citation for retail theft and aggravated disorderly conduct. Graves will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/24/20 to answer her charges. Officer Fletcher On 9/27/20 at approximately 5:50 PM Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local grocery store for a report of a female shoplifter. The complainant, a store employee, reported a female walked out of the store with a cart of merchandise that had not been payed for. The cart and merchandise were recovered in the parking lot and the female fled on foot. The female was later identified as Tiffany Scadding of Brattleboro by evidence left behind at the scene and security video of the incident. Scadding was later located and issued a trespass warning for the business. She was released on citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division on 11/10/20 Dimas Ocasio, 44, of Hartford, CT
Officer Washburn On September 19 at approximately 1059 Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a business on Putney rd. for a retail theft complaint. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Dimas Ocasio age 44 of Hartford CT. committed the offense of Retail Theft. Ocasio was later located and released on citation to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on October 27, 2020 at 8:00am to answer the charge of Retail Theft. Officer Lockerby On 7/28/2020 at approximately 1503 hours Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street for a reported theft complaint. Officers reviewed surveillance images from the theft. Further investigation resulted in one of the subjects being identified as Krystal Nadeau. Nadeau was later located and issued a citation for Retail Theft and released. she is scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on September 8, 2020 to face the charge. |
