Officer Washburn On September 22, 2020 Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Putney rd. for a report of Stalking and Violation of Conditions. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Kevin Neville age 45 of Bellows had committed the Offenses of Violation of Conditions and Stalking. Neville was later located and arrested by the Windham County Sheriffs Department who transported Neville back to the Brattleboro Police Department. Neville was ordered held on $2500.00 bail and was issued condtions of release. Neville was transferred to the Southern State Correctional Facility and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on September 23, 2020 at 12:30pm.

Officer Lockerby On September 13, 2020 at approximately 1624 hours, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Putney Road for a stalking complaint. Subsequent investigation revealed that Kevin H. Neville had been stalking the victim. Neville met with officers at the Brattleboro Police Department and was placed under arrest. He was processed and temporarily lodged. Neville was issued conditions of release and was ordered to appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 9/14/2020 to answer to the charge. Loren Bedward, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
Sgt. Cable Officer Law On 8/23/2020 at approximately 10:22 PM Brattleboro Police received a call for a stalking complaint. A female victim reported that Loren Bedward of Brattleboro had been repeatedly following her, showing up at her residence, waiting at locations for her, sending her violent, threatening text messages and repeatedly calling her and threatening her after clear communication that the behavior was unwanted. A prior investigation from 8/19/2020 revealed that Bedward had repeatedly strangled the female victim. A 911 call from the victim at approximately 1:40 AM reported that Bedward was actively attempting to force entry into her residence. Brattleboro Police along with Vermont State Police responded to the call. Brattleboro Police were on scene in under a minute and observed a male matching Bedward fleeing the scene. Reports were that there was also a male still inside the residence. Brattleboro Police secured the scene but were unable to locate the male that fled. The male was eventually identified as Bedward. Bedward was taken into custody at approximately 5 AM. Bedward was ordered to be held without bail. Bedward is to be arraigned on 8/24/2020 to answer to the charges of 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Stalking and Burglary into an Occupied Dwelling. Edward McGrath, 56, of Winchester, NH
Det. Sgt. Eaton On July 2, 2020, Brattleboro Police Detectives took a report of suspicious behavior from an ex-coworker. The investigation revealed that Edward J. McGrath had made several unwanted and concerning trips to the complainants residence in Brattleboro. McGrath was located later in the day and was arrested for stalking and unlawful trespass. He was released to appear in court on Monday July 6, 2020. Trudy Fleming, 70, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Emery On 10/09/18, the Brattleboro Police Department took a report of a possible stalking order violation. After investigation, it was discovered that Trudy Fleming, 70, of Brattleboro had violated a stalking order set in place by the Court. Fleming was issued a citation to appear at Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division on 12/18/18 to answer to this charge. Brunelle, Steven J. – 62 of Brattleboro, VT
Detective Eaton On June 6, 2018 Brattleboro Police received a stalking complaint. At the conclusion of the investigation, Steven J. Brunelle was arrested for stalking. He was issued a citation to appear in court for June 13, 2018. |
