Norman Hardy, 44, of Brattleboro, VT
On 12/11/2021, the Brattleboro Police Department were alerted to a possible Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order. Investigation revealed that Norman Hardy had sent several text messages and attempted to call someone he had an order not to contact. Hardy was arrested and released on a citation. Hardy was ordered to appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/13/2021 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to his charge.
Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.
Timothy Destromp, 53, of Brattleboro, VT
On May 7, 2021 the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to a report of a restraining order violation and Violations of Conditions that occurred at a residence on Canal St. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Timothy Destromp age 53 of Brattleboro committed the offenses of Violation of Conditions and Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order.
Destromp was taken into custody and transported back to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Destromp was ordered held on $5,000.00 bail and lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility. Destromp is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on May 10, 2021 at 12:30pm.
Scott Koski, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
On March 15, 2021 Brattleboro Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on Marlboro Rd. for a welfare check on a female who had contacted a support organization looking for assistance. Brattleboro Police Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Scott Koski age 40 of Brattleboro had violated a temporary relief from abuse order. Koski was taken into custody and transported to the Brattleboro Police Dept. where he was fingerprinted and photographed. Koski was issued conditions of release and was cited to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on March 16, 2021 at 12:30pm.
Jose Torres, 36, of Brattleboro, VT
On March 03, 2021, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department learned of a Violation of an abuse prevention order that occurred on March 01, 2021 on Canal Street, in the town of Brattleboro. Subsequent investigation revealed that Jose A. Torres had violated a temporary relief from abuse order when he was within 300 feet of a residence on Canal Street. Torres was arrested and charged with Violation of an abuse prevention order second offense. Torres was released to Brattleboro Probation and Parole and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on March 04, 2021 to answer to the charge.
Orin Knapp, 30, of Newfane, VT
On 1/10/21 Brattleboro Police received a complaint in regards to Orin A. Knapp, a 30 year old male from Newfane. The complaint indicated the Knapp violated a Relief from Abuse order, along with Court ordered Conditions of Release.
Investigation revealed that Knapp did in fact violate a Relief from Abuse order and Conditions of Release by making contact with a protected person.
Knapp turned himself in to the Brattleboro Police Department on 1/11/21 for the above offenses. Knapp was processed, and released on a citation and Conditions of
Release. Knapp will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/12/21 to answer his charges.
