Officer Penniman On 4/23/22 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fairground Rd. for an equipment violation. The operator, Sydney Clark-Adams, was found to have a VT warrant, and was placed under arrest. Probable cause of criminal activity was developed, and a search of the vehicle was conducted. A misdemeanor amount of Crack Cocaine was located. It was also discovered that Clark-Adams was in violation of several sets of Court Ordered Conditions of Release. Clark-Adams was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where she was lodged. Clark-Adams will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/25/22 to answer her charges. Bobby Smith, 51, Brattleboro, VT
Officer Penniman On 4/10/22 Brattleboro Police responded to a lodging establishment on South St. for a report of Bobby Ray Smith attempting to gain entry into a neighbors apartment. Upon arrival investigation led to the arrest of Smith for Unlawful Mischief and Criminal Threatening. Smith was cited on scene. Shortly afterwards, Police responded back to the scene due to Smith threatening the victim with violence. Smith was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was held in lieu of bail. Smith will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/11/22 to answer the charges of Unlawful Mischief, Aggravated Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Threatening, Obstruction of Justice, and Contempt of Court. Kelby Felumb, 32, Brattleboro, VT Officer Penniman On 4/7/22 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Canal St. for a trespassing complaint. Investigation revealed that Destiney Jones and Kelby Felumb were on property that they had previously been trespassed from. It was also found that both were violating Court Ordered Conditions of Release by being on the property. Both were located nearby, and issued citations for Unlawful Trespass and Contempt of Court. Both will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 4/19/22 to answer their charges. Officer Abualjadail On 4/4/22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a hotel on Putney Rd. for a report of a possible domestic assault. Investigation revealed that Zackary Belmore had assaulted and caused fear in an intimate partner. It was also discovered that Belmore had broken into the person’s room causing damage and stole items while there. The person did not seek medical treatment for their injuries. Belmore was arrested and transported back to the Brattleboro PD where he was held on bail. Belmore was ordered to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 4/5/2022 to answer to the charges of Burglary, Domestic Assault, and Unlawful Mischief. Officer Abualjadail On 2/23/22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Putney Rd. for a report of a theft. Investigation revealed that Gina Taylor had stolen several items from an individual at the business to include credit cards. Taylor was issued a citation to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 4/12/22 to answer to the charges of Petit Larceny and Illegal Possession of a Credit Card. Officer Penniman On 3/22/22, Brattleboro Police were monitoring traffic on Rt. 30. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for speed due to the vehicle traveling 86mph in a posted 40mph. The operator, Jason Neumeister, was placed under arrest for excessive speed. Furthermore, Neumeister’s license was criminally suspended, and he was required to have an ignition interlock device, which the vehicle did not have. Neumeister was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed and released on a citation. Neumeister will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 5/3/22 to answer his charges. Officer Penniman On 3/20/22 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Canal St. for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival it was apparent that the business had been burglarized. Investigation led Police to a nearby hotel, and then to Dillon Hall. Hall was placed under arrest for Burglary, Unlawful Mischief, False Information, and Contempt of Court. Hall was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, where he was lodged in lieu of bail. Hall will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/21/22 to answer his charges. Officer Penniman On 3/19/22 Brattleboro Police responded to a residence in Moore Ct. to investigate a potential domestic disturbance. Investigation led to the arrest of Keith Giroux for Domestic Assault. Giroux resisted arrest, and also acted in a disorderly manner. Giroux was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was lodged in lieu of bail. There were no injuries. Giroux will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 3/21/22 to answer his charges. Officer Washburn On March 17, 2022 at approximately 6:30pm. Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a local hospital for a disorderly subject. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Kyle J. Hamilton age 22 of Brattleboro committed the offenses of Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Contempt, and Unlawful Trespass. Hamilton was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Hamilton was ordered held on $50.00 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on March 18, 2022 at 12:30pm.
