Aaron Devens, 23, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/1/19 Brattleboro Police were conducting a foot patrol under the Elm St. Bridge.
While on patrol, Police observed Aaron Devens, a 23 year old male from Brattleboro, engaging in activity consistent with abusing crack cocaine.
Investigation revealed that Nevens was in possession of crack cocaine. Nevens was issued a citation for possession, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 11/5/19 to answer his charge.
Willie Funchess, 58, of Brattleboro, VT
On September 29, 2019, officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street, in the Town of Brattleboro, for a report of a male engaging in tumultuous behavior and using obscene language in a public place. Subsequent investigation revealed Willie M. Funchess engaged in a verbal altercation with a female in a public space causing a disturbance. Funchess was cited for Disorderly Conduct and will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 11/05/2019 to answer to the charge.
Glenn Rivet, Homeless of Keene, NH
On September 14, 2019, Brattleboro Police received a report of a retail theft from a grocery store on Canal Street that occurred the previous day. Investigation revealed that Glenn A. Rivet left the store with over $900 of merchandise that he did not pay for. A warrant for his arrest has been requested for this offense.
James Douglas, 30, of Brattleboro, VT
On 10/3/19 the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the area of the Whetstone Walkway in Brattleboro to investigate a report of a verbal dispute. Initial reports indicated that James (Amie) Douglas was involved in the incident. Douglas was located on Linden Street and subsequent investigation revleaed that Douglas was in violation of court ordered conditions of release regarding a curfew. Further investigation revealed that Douglas acted in a disorderly manner in public and spat on another person. Douglas was placed under arrest and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. Douglas was lodged temporarily then later released with conditions to appear in Windham County Superior Court on 10/3/19 at 1230pm.
Seth Kellner, 39, of Brattleboro, Vt
On 9/6/19 Brattleboro Officers received a report that Seth Kellner, 39, of Brattleboro, was contacting a female in violation of his court ordered conditions. Subsequent investigation led to Sellner being arrested on 10/3/19 for Criminal Contmpt: Violation of Conditions of Release, 16 Counts. Kellner will appear in court on 10/4/19 to face the charge.

Emery Wainwright, 24, of Brattleboro, VT
On September 30, 2019 at approximately 2058 hours officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence on South Main St for a reported domestic assault. Subsequent investigation revealed that Emery Wainwright, 24, of Brattleboro had assaulted a family or household member on two separate occasions. Wainwright was later located and arrested. Wainwright was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and later lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility as the court held him without bail. Rescue Inc treated the victim for injuries on scene. Wainwright is due in court on October 1, 2019 at 1230 hours.
Kendra Pixley, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
On September 30, 2019 officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a parking lot on Canal St for a subject who was obstructing traffic and being disorderly. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Kendra Pixley, 40, of Brattleboro for disorderly conduct. Based on the fact that Pixley had been cited just minutes prior to this incident, it was determined that she should be taken into custody. Pixley was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where she was ordered released on conditions, held until sober, and cited to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on October 1, 2019 at 1230 hours.
Kendra Pixley, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
On September 30, 2019 at approximately 1754 hours officers from the Brattleboro Police Department were dispatched to a local business on Canal St for a report of a female being disorderly. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Kendra Pixley, 40, of Brattleboro. Pixley was released on a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on November 5, 2019 at 0800 hours.
George Kracke, 29, of Darien, CT
On 9/29/19 at approximately 0159 hours Brattleboro Police Department responded to a local business on Putney Rd. for a report of a single vehicle crash. It was reported that the vehicle appeared to have been racing and crashed into a median in the parking lot, there was no one with the vehicle.
Upon arrival Brattleboro Police found a 2016 Dodge Challenger that had crashed into the median of the parking lot. The vehicle was removed from the scene.
Later on 9/29/19 George Kracke came to the Brattleboro Police Department. Investigation revealed that Kracke had driven the vehicle into the parking lot and then raced across the parking lot, crashing into the median. No one was injured in the crash. Kracke was issued a citation for Negligent Operation and is to appear at the Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division on 11/5/19 to face the charge.
Paula Lavender, 51, of East Dover, VT
On 7/31/19 a representative of a local auto service station contacted the Brattleboro Police and reported that Paula Lavender had paid for services to her vehicle with a personal check made out for $1034.61. When the business deposited the check, it was rejected by the bank for insufficient funds. The business took steps to notify Lavender of this problem and to give her the opportunity to make good on the debt. No payment was received. Police conducted an investigation and on 10/1/19 Paula Lavender was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court in Windham on 11/12/19 to answer the charge of uttering a bad check.
