Officer Kerylow On 11/25/2019 Brattleboro Police arrested Anthony T. Wilson for sales of cocaine and Wilson was found to have cocaine on his person during the arrest. Wilson was also found in contempt of his court ordered conditions of release. Wilson was placed under arrest and was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Wilson was issued a citation to appear in court on 12/31/2019 at 8am.

Snow and ice will be removed from the streets in the downtown area this evening. This will include Canal Street and parts of Western Ave. Parked vehicles in the downtown district must be removed by 11:00pm or they will be towed at the owner’s expense. If vehicles are going to remain in Town overnight they should park in the Brattleboro Transportation Center. If you use the Transportation Center, do not park in a Reserved Permit space without a permit. Officer Penniman On 12/2/19 Brattleboro Police responded to an apartment on Elliot St. for a 911 hang up. Investigation revealed that Glenn Obrien, a 57 year old male from Brattleboro, had caused physical pain to his partner. Obrien was placed under arrest, and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department. There he was processed, and lodged due to being ordered held without bail. Obrien has previous domestic assault convictions, making any subsequent domestic assault charges 1st degree in nature. Obrien will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 12/2/19 at 1230 to answer his charge. The victim received minor injuries, and did not require treatment. Jeremy Snyder, 31, of Chester, VT
Officer Penniman On 12/1/19 Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Putney Rd. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of the operator, Jeremy Snyder, a 31 Year Old Male from Chester, VT for possession of fentanyl (misdemeanor). Snyder was issued a citation, and will appear at Windham County Superior Court on 1/7/20 to answer his charge. Stephen Curran, 63, of Nashua, NH
Officer Kerylow On 11/29/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to Williams Street for a report of a possible intoxicated driver who struck a telephone. Police were told that the operator left the scene. Police later located the operator who was identified as Stephen W. Curran in a parking lot of a medical facility on Linden Street. Curran was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence, Negligent Operation and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Curran was issued a citation to appear in court on 12/17/2019 at 8am. Justin Clough, 40, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 11/25/2019 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a medical building on Belmont Ave. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Justin E. Clough for Attempted Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault. Clough was transported to Southern State Correction Facility where he was held without bail. Clough will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/26/2019 to answer to his charges. Terry Lambert, 23, of Westminster, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 11/23/2019 officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a citizen’s dispute at a business on Putney Road. Upon arrival the officers were able to identify Terry D. Lambert as being involved in the dispute. Subsequent investigation lead to the arrest of Lambert. A female was also identified as being involved in the dispute. Lambert had conditions to not have contact with the female. Lambert will appear in Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on 11/25/2019 to answer to his charge. Frederick Habich, 52, of Guilford, VT
Officer Llewelyn On 11/23/2019 at approximately 4:20 PM officers of the Brattleboro Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of a Canal Street business. The operator of the motor vehicle was identified as Fredrick Habich. Habich was in possession of what the officer suspected to be cocaine which Habich then attempted to destroy before being removed from the vehicle. Habich subsequently resisted officers’ attempts to control him. Habich was arrested and held in lieu of $200 bail. Habich was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court on 11/25/2019 to answer to the above charges. Corey Whidden, 29, of Brattleboro, VT
Officer Kerylow On 11/19/2019 Brattleboro Police responded to a business on Putney Road for a shoplifting complaint. Through investigation it was determined that Corey A. Whidden concealed an item inside the business and left without paying. Whidden was issued a citation to appear in court on 12/31/2019 at 8am. |
