On 2/27/22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Elliot St. for a report of a possible domestic assault. Investigation revealed that Matthew Montgomery had placed another person in imminent fear of harm. He was arrested, ordered to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 2/28/22 to answer to his charge, and released.

Nicholas Prue, 36, Brattleboro, VT

On 2/25/22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at a residence on Wantastiquet Dr. Investigation revealed that Nicholas Prue was driving under the influence and was violating his court ordered conditions. He was issued a citation to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 3/22/22 at 8:00 a.m. to answer to the charges of DUI and Contempt of Court.

Unlawful Trespass, Contempt of Court

Joseph Pasquino, 37, Brattleboro, VT

On 2/24/22, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main St. for a report of trespassing. Investigation revealed that Joseph Pasquino had entered the business despite having been issued a no trespass notice. It was also revealed that Pasquino had consumed alcohol against his court ordered conditions. Pasquino was issued a citation to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on 3/22/22 to answer to the charges of Unlawful Trespass and Contempt of Court.

Shaquran Holcomb, 41, Brattleboro, VT

On February 19, 2022, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department where on patrol when they observed Shaquran Holcomb at a hotel on Canal Street.  Holcomb was known to have court ordered conditions of release for which he was in violation of. Holcomb was cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court on March 22 to answer to the charge of Contempt of Court.

Possession of Fentanyl

Adam Bryant, 29, Brattleboro, VT

Officer Wild

On 03/01/22 at 0930 hours, the Brattleboro Police Department was conducting a routine patrol in the area of Flat St. It was determined that Adam Bryant, a 29 year old male out of Brattleboro, VT had an active arrest warrant. Upon search incident to arrest it was determined that Bryant had in his possession 4 bags of suspected Fentanyl. Bryant was arrested on the warrant and lodge at the Brattleboro Police Department where he was released on bail. Bryant is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on April 12, 2022 at 0800 hours.

Arrest Warrant, Suspended License

Michelle Benjamin, 27, Springfield, VT

On 2/18/2022 at approximately 8:56 AM Michelle Benjamin came to the Brattleboro Police Department to turn herself in on an active Vermont Warrant for the offense of driving with a criminally suspended license.  Benjamin drove herself to the police department, and her license was still under criminal suspension.  Benjamin was issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court on 3/29/2022 to answer to the charge of driving with a criminally suspended license.

Theft

Heather Cobb, 24, Brattleboro, VT

On 1/24/2022 at approximately 9:34 AM Brattleboro Police responded to a report of a theft that had occurred overnight at a residence on South Main Street.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Heather Cobb had stolen a cell phone belonging to the male victim.  Cobb was later located on 2/13/22 and issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court on 3/29/22 to answer to the charge of Petit Larceny.

Sexual Assault

Kevin Cameron, 56, Brattleboro, VT

On February, 25, 2022, Brattleboro Police were at an establishment on South Main Street for an unrelated reason, when they were approached by a female.  She reported that she had just been sexually assaulted.  A detective responded to the scene and started the investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation, Kevin Cameron was arrested for sexual assault.  He was held without bail.

Retail Theft, Disorderly Conduct

Joseph Pasquino, 36, Brattleboro, VT

On February 20, 2022, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main Street for a reported suspicious complaint.  Subsequent investigation found the Joseph Pasquino had committed Retail Theft and Disorderly Conduct while at the store.
 
Officers were able to locate Pasquino at a separate business on Main St.  Pasquino was found to have committed retail theft while at the second business as well.  Pasquino was placed under arrest for the above charges and is to appear in the Vermont Superior Court on March 29 to answer to the charges.

Michelle Benjamin, 27, Springfield, VT

On February 18, 2022, Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Putney Road.  Subsequent investigation found that the operator, Michelle Benjamin, had a criminally suspended license.  Benjamin was arrested for the offense and released on a citation.  Benjamin is to appear in the Vermont Superior Court: Criminal Division on March 29, 2022.
