Casey O'Brien, 22, of Brattleboro, VT
On November 30, 2021 the Brattleboro Police were dispatched to a residence on Canal St. for a report of an assault that had just taken place. Officers arrived and after an investigation it was determined that Casey O’Brien age 22 of Brattleboro committed the offense of Simple Assault. O’Brien was released on citation and is scheduled to appear at the Windham County Superior Court Criminal Division on January 4, 2022 at 8:00am.
Anyone arrested or cited by the Brattleboro police department is presumed innocent until convicted of a crime in court.

bumped into him in the hallway and he cried and called you guys, a lot lighter than youd get walking on any crowded sidewalk. he was calling me names through my door like a child and called the police every time I had friends over. a simple assault means I had to at least make his life feel threatened and the officer issued the charge before he even saw the evidence. You guys better bring the video to court so the judge and I can watch it together

not to mention I tried to work it out with him for two years and he opted to come out and whine instead of take my number to text me whenever he felt bothered. Since then I've seen him actually leave his house to go do things so I don't even regret it, scared some life into him. He probably wouldn't even have reacted the way he did now that hes been outside.
